With the Seat count increased to pre collapse levels of 700, the various new political blocs begin to go on the trail to gain as many voters as possible, for the fate of how democracy is run in Terrabis-Seran hangs in the balance. Blocs are already calling for Endorsements to support their campaigns.

The first Bloc, calling themselves the Democratic Bloc, primarily campaigns in the northern cities and working class valleys, in order to secure a stronghold near their endorser, the Courts of the Bound Hearts, planning to branch southward. Their leader Rias Creed, a “Liberal”, uses the radio to make his speeches, rather then physically visiting his supporters. One address on repeat goes as followed:

“Citizens! Your Democracy is in danger! For too long, regulation and monarchy has stifled the Senate from its work for the people! The economy does not need all this red tap, nor the red velvet of the monarchy. Let us, together with the Democracy Bloc, reduce the Empress to a figure head, and get rid of all these socialist ideals that are keeping our economy from truly booming! The Senate has no need of a judiciary, when we the representatives, can make all the decisions with your support! Let us walk into a new age together!”

The second Bloc, known as the Congressional Bloc, focuses mainly on the central part of the country, moving to keep all their ground covered while staying near their endorser, the Courts of the SouthernWood. Their head, Luna Sinclair, while new to campaigning, handles the task like running a department, uniting the Socialists and Social Liberals, setting up objectives and squads to handle each objective. Propaganda posters would read “Keep to the Quo!” and “Justice for the Judiciary!” While she herself would make a speech in the plant covered city of New Cortheas:

”Greetings those of the North and South! I may be new to the Senate, but I believe we need some fresh blood to keep democracy going. I believe, as well as my friends in the Bloc, believe that the government is fine the way it is, but it should go further. The original Homethrone Government must be replicated in all instances, so in order to balance our government, we must have an impartial judiciary, just as my opponents in the Regional Bloc believe. Our national government however, must be a balance between Democracy and Monarchy, to stand on its own to feet. Our industry must remain regulated as it is to keep our economy as what it is: Ours! Let us stand United in our commitment for balance and harmony!”

The third and last Bloc, called the Regional Bloc, would mainly focus on the South, with the new center of the nation’s power, their endorse, the Courts of the Old Country, and the numerous new settlements there. Hermosa Calig had managed to rally the Regionists and Social Democrats to her cause, establishing a monarchist bloc against what she perceived as a corrupt Senate. She and her Bloc would go settlement by settlement, making speeches personally in bars and town squares advocating their campaign.
”Citizens! Friends! Those who are willing to listen! The Senate has failed the you! It has, for far too long since the collapse, been out of touch with the people. Where has the promised industrial revitalization gone? Nowhere! When Lahnhof was in chaos, what did the Senate do? Nothing, the Regent sent peacekeepers while the Senate twiddled their thumbs! Did the Senate help create a settlement between us and the people of Kronzland to reclaim our lost territory? No, it was all the work of the Diplomatic Core and the Regency! My point being, that the Senate does not have the speed, the understanding, nor the closeness to the people, that the monarchy and the local legislatures have demonstrated. Therefore, we propose, for the betterment of the state, that the Senate be disbanded, that the local legislatures be given more power to handle their own areas, with the national government being a balance of power between the Monarchy and an impartial Judicary. When the people need government, they can do it themselves. When the state needs a strong leader the Treants will be there. And when the law needs to be handed down, it will not be a group of out of touch senators that handles it, but a true, impartial justice system. Join us, to show that the motto of our nation means something, that the people come first!”

With fierce campaigning across the nation, and leaders giving their two credits, it could be anyone’s chance to change the government of Terrabis-Seran forever.

Endorsements are now open and are recommended.

Czardom of Omaskar: official announcement

Greetings to the nations of Russovichia, Karcovshkie, and Zaporia. You are listening to the Czar of Omaskar. I am here to cordially invite you all to our glorious capital of Yelekatiryn for a summit on the stability of our region after the collapse of the Royal Confederation of Krionik. Our little corner is vast and disunited. But the Czardom wishes to change that. We extend our hand to all of you in friendship; we want to tie our region to together with diplomacy and alliances. Only United can we face the western imperialism and the challenges that lie ahead on the rocky road of Valsora. So meet us in the capital in a week. Or refuse and see our region become colonies of the western menace. The choice is yours and yours only.

"Rollover" is when the number of RMB pages reaches a multiple of 1000. As before, this of course excludes the first page in 2011.

General Conclusion

The RMB before 2018 was extremely slow in terms of posting, but a monumental surge in activity in that year caused the board to become far more active in the years following. From 2018 to 2023, the overall trend has been a more or less steady pace of activity despite short-term surges and slowdowns. Starting in mid-2023 however, an anomalously slow period began, possibly driven by; the creation of Frontiers and Strongholds, the cohort originating from 2018 and some time afterwards beginning to age out, and offsite activity as speculated here, here, and here.

The regions of Talitoa send representatives to the House of Regions can be instantly removed in snap elections (4 members for every region), the Representative Senate is much the same (for every region, they get 6 Region Members plus 1 for every two million people). Communities and cities in Talitoa have direct democracy and control of their own affairs. 70 regions along with the territories, though the regions exist only to set up law for the whole of Talitoa. The terms for both House of Regions and Representative Senate members is every 4 years.

The representatives themselves will be chosen by the people through Approval Voting. The House of Regions will set up bills recommended by large enough petitions or by in-house committee. The House of Regions can have a snap election to help force it through if 2/3rds vote for the bill. The president along with the speaker of the house stand as moderators in debates that try and influence the direction of voting, where the president then stamps the approval or disapproval seal on the bill depending on how the debate went.

The president will be the head of the party and the head of state, with the vice president holding ceremonial and other small tasks to be decided in other laws. Both president and vice president will be elected by Approval Voting and can be removed at any time in a recall snap (with proof of malicious or incompetent conduct). The term is 5 years for the president and vice president, with elections ending December 12. The president and vice president can only hold two terms. The vice president takes the presidents place on death, ruling to the next election unless removed. If both president and vice-president step down, a interregnum will take place where the House of Regions and Representative Senate will lead until a new president is chosen after the elections December 12.

Any corruption or cases of "lobbying" are prohibited. Donations to parties are restricted to 10,000 Talios. Any politician who deals in corruption will be stripped of their titles and banned from government if a trial finds them guilty. The government must help provide for the real benefit for even the smallest in Talitoa.

This document has been signed in to help guide and rule Talitoa, and thus will help lead the nation's future.
