ENERGY TRADE DEAL PROPOSAL TO THE ISLAMIC FEDERATION OF THE LAFARI

As the Government of Gran Sagrado has finished sorting the direction it is headed thanks to its recent election, it must now turn its eyes to the most important agenda: revitalizing its economy. Thanks to both foreign and local investments, the neglected infrastructure of the Dominion is slowly being rebuilt. Meanwhile, companies are slowly picking themselves up thanks to economic support from Pangasinan and Estande, and a recently initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has begun encouraging foreign companies to do business in the country, citing its sizeable skilled manpower pool and the relatively low taxes.

As the country continues to shape its future, it acknowledges the need to boost its energy sources if it wants to continue the national rebuild. As such, following internal dialogues and consultations with energy experts, the Government formally extends its an offer to the Islamic Federation of The Lafari for an agreement. This deal will entail that the Dominion will import oil and natural gas from the Federation based on market demands on a monthly basis. In return, Gran Sagrado will grant Lafari ships privileged priority in all Sagradan ports, and a reserved docking berth in the Port of Santos Marinos. Additionally, the Government of Gran Sagrado offers to sell to The Lafari a 12% stake in the recently formed Empresa Energética de Gran Sagrado (Gran Sagrado Energy Company), the recently formed utility company in-charge of providing electricity. Through this move, the Government hopes to demonstrate to the Lafari that it is willing to commit with the Federation for its energy supply in the long term, and for its desire to build deeper relations with the country in the future.

I am unsure if it was passed but the fact that it was proposed suggests something.
