O'Neill, I say heartfelt thanks to you for cleaning this region. If it wasn't so sacreligious for a McKay-worshipping nation to worship O'Neill I'd make them do it.

I watched the most recent SG-U episodes on Hulu this weekend. I have looked for any king of verification of the cancellation of SG-U but haven't seen anything definitive. Whoever made the claim earlier ... where did you see it?

Stargate Universe sucks. I miss Atlantis.

Hey what is better Stargate Sg-1 Universe or Atlantis

Post by Nto-08 suppressed by Reaper man.

All had their strengths ... and you could argue that without SG-1, the others wouldn't have happened. IMO, SG-1 had character strength that carried its story line. Jack, Carter and DJ were the new Kirk, Spock and other Spock. Atlantis and Universe had more "gimmick" going ... but Uni was doing a good job at developing its characters.

I think in order of make: SG-1 was best, because it hadn't run low on ideas yet and it actually had a storyline (at first) and a moral compass. Atlantis was very good, but it was mostly in for the thrill (which I liked btw). But Atlantis had lost the moral compass in the cracks somewhere in the first few episodes and after a while it had me siding with the Wraith. Universe, well... I kind of dropped it after about five episodes. It had NO plot, and that hurts my eyes.

I have to agree with you that Uni lacked direction in the first few. I think they were struggling to develop the main character identities -- it took at least that long for the writers to decide if a character was "good" or "bad". Uni also left a lot of character loose ends in every episode and didn't take the time (make the time??) to provide any explanations. The last few episodes have tried to overcome those deficits but it is the case of too little too late.

Uni seemed to take a big step forward when Rush discovered the the signal in the universal background noise. His character was altered and he became someone you could (almost) like.

SG-1's the only one in which (or at least for me) there was a clear connection between the audience and the characters. I mean, how can you not connect to them? Sure, it got repetitive (:P), but overall one of the better (if not the best) sci-fi TV series.

Atlantis was just like a cool add-on to SG-1. I watched it when I had time to. Nothing special, tbh.

And Universe... Well, I better stop there.

Welcome back, J O.

Hey all! I'm a fellow stargate fan.... so... well, SG-1 is my favourite, Atlantis is pretty good as well but I never really got into Universe much. So... yeah... hello all!

Hey, Klorell.

Whoah, freakin' awesome flag, Atum!

Post by Mckays geldar suppressed by Reaper man.

Hmmm...inspecting the mortality charts for various nations, I've come up with the question....

In Goa'uld nations does "Acts of God" refer to the percentage of the population killed by the leader?

Post by Nto-08 suppressed by Reaper man.

That has to be included. Perhaps it should be stated "Acts of Gods".

Ascended system lords

Hey check out my flag

Post by Klorell suppressed by Reaper man.

And let's not forget that the Goa'uld are not evil. They're just...... misunderstood..... a lot.
