Article I. The Monarch of the Realm of Sildoria

1. The Monarch shall be the Head of State of the Realm.

2. The Monarch may issue Royal Decrees and Royal Appointments;

   1. Royal Edicts shall act as Statutory Law and may be amended or repealed by the Royal Parliament.

   2. Those given a Royal Appointment may create and appoint fellow citizens to aid in their duties.
      

3. The Monarch at any time may appoint a citizen as their Heir Apparent;

   1. The Heir Apparent shall take the position of Monarch if the reigning Monarch abdicates or is no longer a citizen of the Realm.
      

4. The Monarch shall be immune from any and all Criminal and Civil prosecution;

   1. This immunity may be waived by a unanimous vote from Parliament.

      1. Should the Monarch be found guilty they shall vacate the throne and the Heir Apparent shall be corona ted.

      2. Should there be no Heir Apparent then Parliament shall elect from themselves the new Monarch.
         

Article II. The Royal Parliament

1. The Royal Parliament shall also be known as the Sildorian Parliament or the Parliament.

2. The Parliament shall consist of all citizens within the Realm.

3. The Parliament shall be the sole originator of all legislation except for Royal Decrees.

4. The Parliament shall pass laws with a simple majority of attending Members of Parliament unless this Constitution requires another quota be met.

5. The Parliament may create offices and otherwise elect citizens into those offices as the Parliament sees fit without interference from the Monarch.

6. The Parliament shall elect from among themselves a Speaker who shall preside over the Parliament;

   1. The Speaker shall be elected using a Singular Transferable Vote system and shall be elected by a majority of Members of Parliament.

   2. The Speaker shall serve in terms of two months.

   3. The Speaker must maintain a list of all Members of Parliament and otherwise maintain applications into citizenship as well as a record of accepted and denied applicants.

   4. The Speaker may appoint Deputy Speakers with specified powers granted to the Speaker to aid the Speaker in their duties.
      

7. The Parliament may call general elections for the Speaker and any other elected positions with a two-thirds vote in of affirmation in Parliament.

8. The Parliament may adopt its own Rules of Parliament to govern itself.

9. All laws of Parliament shall be either signed with assent by the Monarch or vetoed by the Monarch;

   1. If the Monarch vetoes a piece of Legislation then Parliament shall vote on whether to overturn the veto requiring a two-thirds assenting vote to do so.
      

Article III. Miscellaneous

1. This Constitution shall govern the Realm of Sildoria and be above all other acts and laws of the Realm and no other act or law of the Realm may contradict this Constitution.

2. This Constitution may be amended in part or in full with a two-thirds assenting vote from Parliament.

3. This Constitution may be repealed and replaced in full from a constitutional convention which shall require a two-thirds assenting vote to begin from Parliament.
