1. In line with the Discord vote, the region of OmniOne will be transitioning into a downsized community based on Discord.

As had been previously hinted at the beginning of the caucuses a month ago, the decision to downsize would likely be based on the majority of opinion on Discord votes, as these votes belong to Omnites who are more likely to be active and up-to-date on community events. Though the region as a whole voted 58-42 not to downsize, the Discord community voted 52-48 in favour of downsizing.

2. In line with the NationStates (NS) vote, no one will be evicted from the NS region of OmniOne.

As is the case in many regions, like my first on many dying regions on NS — The Independent Order — the Founder may choose to evict all nations out of their region in an attempt to forcibly end the region. This is an option that was considered prior to the caucuses. However, I decided last month that this decision should be made democratically, and should primarily fall on the hands of voters solely on NS and not on Discord, as NS and the region of OmniOne may be the only home that they remember being in, and that it would be unfair for me to make a decision on behalf of them. Surely enough, the NS-only community voted unanimously to have their nations remain in OmniOne even if the decision to downsize was made.

3. In line with the regional vote, the NS region of OmniOne will be locked and archived.

58% of the region voted to lock and archive this region, and I will follow that decision. Going down this route would mean that there would be no other changes to the region as it currently stands — the flag, World Factbook Entry, and the banner will remain. This also means that our region will always remain prepared for a potential reopening in the future; the possibility of which we should not discount.

4. I have decided to remake a new, downsized OmniOne Discord server.

The results of this referendum are non-binding, as has been made evidently clear a month ago when government officials — past and present — and I have agreed with the process to analyse the results and make an informed decision on behalf of the results. On that note, I have decided to make a new, downsized OmniOne Discord server in spite of the narrow 52-48 Discord vote to keep the current OmniOne Discord server. I personally believe that it would be a more successful bet to stimulate activity by trying something that we have never done since 2019, which is to revive the community by giving it a fresh page on a fresh Discord server.

5. I have decided to use my executive orders to fire the current government.

Despite the 58-42 vote to keep the current government as a ‘mock government’ that may dominate the region’s NS homepage as a list of names for show only, I have decided to go for — what I believe is — a more practical decision that many Omnites in the Discord community agree with: To remove the current government and hence, any need for a mock government. This is a decision made after considering that two officials in the current administration have sub-50% approvals.

With that being said, Gh0sty will remain as the region’s World Assembly Delegate for defensive purposes. Whilst Slavotopia — the man spearheading our region’s roleplaying sector — has an approval rating of 62%, and is arguably the most active member of the current administration, they will be relieved of their office as Minister of Culture. Instead, they will be given a more task-specific role as Head of Roleplaying in the new, downsized server.

This decision is effective immediately.

6. In line with the Discord vote, all these other things are happening in the new, downsized Discord server:

- The server’s head moderator will be chosen through a majority vote throughout the moderators.
- Moderators will not be elected by the people, and will be chosen only through a two-phase moderator test, as is the case in many Discord servers.
- Politics will be eradicated from any government and government-forming process.
- The name of the new, downsized Discord server will remain as OmniOne.
