There must be at least 20 Member Nations (excluding Office Nations) in the region before an election for the ORA is held. Even though the Secretary-General is appointed by the Founder, that appointment can only happen when an election has been called.
But being active, friendly and supportive (as you have been so far) is a good way to make yourself stand out and become a potential candidate.
Just for everyone's info, election details are being finalised and will be ready to be published soon. As we now have 15 Member Nations (16, but Regional Secretariat is an Office Nation), I am trying to expedite this process as much as possible, in anticipation of a looming election.
