I DO NOT CARE!! I THE FRENCH MONARCHY WAS A GOOD POWER! AND YOU MAY SAY THAT THEY KILLED HUNDREDS BUT THEY DID NOT, THEY WERE TRYING TO PROTECT THEIR DYNASTY THAT HAD BEEN IN POWER FOR MORE THAN 200 YEARS.

Bingusell, Wistenda, and North Weeklingz
Anyway we shouldn't care about France. It will disappear soon enough >:D
Altino, Bingusell, Wistenda, and North Weeklingz

the taxes are fine!
Taxes are communist tho????
YEAH. But… ummmm..
Wait, you’re right…
Haha, I get to see a geo magnetic event and you don't! >:]
Well I saw it from the North of England.
Wait Lev got deposed???
Smh don't act like you didn't cause it.
The dynasty used to colonise and oppress many nations, subjugating and suppressing culture, language and them themselves. "Hundreds" is a funny word for you to use.
It was in Ireland too :) Actually went quite far south towards-ish the equator.
Hello Karma!
I am participating in the NationStates Eurovision Song Contest Thessaloniki 2024 and need your support.
Sadly unless you are already participating in the contest, you cannot vote. However I do need help in other ways. I am currently in the process of writing the lyrics for my songs and then putting it into a slick dispatch to acquire votes from other nations. (Although doing this is technically an unofficial part of the contest, it does help).
So if anyone in Karma has experience in formatting dispatches and design (i.e. the staff of the Tangent) or would like to help write the lyrics or backstory to my singer then please telegram me or post in the Karma RMB. It would also greatly help if after the dispatch is created, you could give a upvote to help it be seen by others.
Regards, Lower Antegria
P.S The voting deadline is on the 18th of May 2024
Voting has closed for the Semi-Finals
The NationStates Eurovision Song Contest Thessaloniki 2024 has passed a significant milestone, receiving 67 entries, by far the most entries of any NationStates Eurovision Song Contest.
Due to the record turnout, participating nations were randomly split into four different Semi-Final groups.
The six highest-scoring nations from each Semi-Final group went through to the Grand Final.
The placings and scores of each nation for the Semi-Finals will be added to the tables below once voting in the Grand Final has closed.
Voting Rules:
- only participating nations could vote,
- you could only vote for nations in the same Semi-Final group as your nation,
- you couldn’t vote for your own nation,
- you had to vote for ten nations (this means you couldn’t vote for some nations),
- each nation you voted for received a specific point total,
- the point totals are 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 (each total could only be given once),
- and the more points you gave a nation, the more you liked their song.
An example of what votes should have looked like is included below:
Nations telegrammed Yahlia to submit their votes.
Invalid votes were rejected until a valid vote was submitted.
Yahlia didn’t individually take the time to teach participants the proper way to vote. Voters should have made sure they knew how to vote by reading the voting rules and comparing their vote with the example shown.
Voting closed at 17:00 on Saturday 18 May (NZST). This was strictly enforced.
Good luck to all nations!

It’s that time of year again with the NationStates Eurovision Song Contest 2024 having finally arrived!
Though Yahlia did not win the NationStates Eurovision Song Contest Snowby 2023, instead achieving the runner-up position, it was nevertheless offered the coveted opportunity to host in 2024 by St Scarlett who declined to host the competition again after a second consecutive win.
In part to acknowledge the Hellene Queens, the musical act who carried Yahlia to its best-ever result in a NationStates Eurovision Song Contest, this year’s competition is being hosted in Yahlia’s centre of Hellenic culture and former European Capital of Culture: romantic Thessaloniki.
Entries have now closed, though residents of Europe and regions with which she has an embassy were eligible to enter.
The lucky participants are destined to perform in Thessaloniki’s Unity Area. Though only one will have the honour of winning, the Eurovision Song Contest is an incredible feat of international cooperation and camaraderie, and even making it to the competition is an accomplishment in of itself. So please, come and join us as we all
To enter, nations telegrammed Yahlia and provided just two pieces of information:
- the name of your nation’s artist, and
- the name of your nation’s song.
The nation that sent the telegram was presumed to be the entrant nation. Only one entry was allowed per nation.
Nations were told that they should not include cover art for the song, lyrics, images of the artist, nor an actual song in their entries as they would be disregarded. While adding to their entries in this way adds to the roleplay of the event, it is exclusionary and unfair to require or include them as a formal part of the competition. Participants were still welcome to use and share such additional features in their own dispatches, but they were not be included nor linked to as part of this event.
Entries closed at 17:00 on Saturday 11 May (NZST). This deadline was strictly enforced.
The final list of participants was be randomly split into Semi-Final groups that were publicised once voting in the Semi-Finals had opened.
Get schooled, kid.
We've had the Aurora Australis visible these past couple nights over in New Zealand.
