And now, a list of things that have happened since the 1400s :3
After the return from the attack on the Faithfuls, progress stilled as the plague died down. To prevent the spread, citizens were to stay away from from one another, and for the infected to isolate themselves, as doctors tended to them. (And before you @ me that was an actual strategy IRL read a book bout the plague a lil bit ago and it included a small passage from the writings of a noble complaining about how lonely they were as them and their other friends had to stay away from everything, doing their richy rich stuff on hills. How sad rich people are bored 😔)
After the plague died off, due to the work of the plague doctors, and the isolation, the plague had a 30% mortality rate, and killed around 10% of the population.
Those who tried looting or taking advantage of the plague didn’t last long. Not because the plague claimed them, but because of a new covenant in AnorLondo.
The blades of the dark moon. The closest thing to law enforcement, their job is to hunt the guilty, and maintain order. Appearing almost as a glowing blue phantom, they are sent as warnings for less crimes, such a theft and the like. However, if the “sin” is bad enough, then they are sent to kill the sinner, and claim a trophy from their victory, often cutting off the ear of the sinner. Hand picked by the god of the moon, only those who they deem worthy and loyal can enter the ranks. A rumor has spread that a vast number of high ranking silver knights are all members, but that’s just a theory…
A GAME THEO-
Speaking of the silver knights, the military has been given the equivalent of a “hey could you chill ty” and has now once again come under the control of the actual leader of the place and not just the general.
Apart from that, there were also changes to make the quality of living as best as they could, with what they had.
A persevered change of leader ship has also happened. Although long gone, a false image of the goddess of sunlight Gwynivere has now claimed that they were the one to take leadership with the disappearance of Lord Gwyn. However, it is still run in secret by Gwyndolin, because talking to people is hard I’d like to see you try dumby dumb >:(
As for inventions, the Hunters have begun to produce more fire arms for the military. However, sorceries and “miracles” still remain the most popular, only growing stronger with time.
However, what is considered to be the most important invention, was the phenakistoscope. A small rotating circle, with different images on different parts of the circle, while rotating, and looking through a small hole on the small machine, it appears as if the image is moving. Art, music, and the theater have been a growing movement in AnorLondo, and this is just another step forward.
However, the biggest change is that of Leyndel. On the once abandoned land of Altus, just outside the mountains that surround AnorLondo, a massive tree has sprouted. It has been dubbed, the Erdtree, and believers in the outer gods have made pilgrimage to build a great city around it, relocating Leyndel. What used to be Leyndel has now been given to AnorLondo, and all of its inhabitants moved. Leyndel had become a semi independent city state, with it still being under protection, and working with AnorLondo. However, it does have its own string of leadership. From what is said, the “Elden Lord,” was chosen by the vassal of the outer god to be consort. The current “Elden Lord,” and first of his title, is Lord Godfrey.

The Collectivist Manifesto
Christoforos Maniatellis was a man of the middle class. the Industrial Age had come, and with it him. he grew up in a world rapidly changing, and somehow he kept up with it.
but through intelligence, he was able to survive it, and pursued a degree in philosophy in the Nikolaosian University of Ampea, and his brightness shined, eventually earning a PHD.
He had always wanted a more equal society, and he thought the Industrial Age would bring it - yet it didn't, instead, the old noble class simply adopted the industrial pratices and applied the old system to it, and he watched how cruel it was. workers exploited like slaves. people turned to little more then cogs in the machine.

and during those years, he saw something: how the classes clashed with each other. he studied history, and saw how the classes clashed with each other throughout it. he saw dreams of an equal society. a utopia even. and he met people who thought the same of it.
within a few years, a few people, mostly philosophers, shared very similar ideas, yet they were not written. a loosen network, within seconds of their appearance, they were decried by the old order, and they adopted the name "Collectivists." for their dream of a collective, equal society, they grew, yet they never were truly a large movement with mass support.

The Rise of Sparta
Sparta, once a feared nation to a destroyed states. The spartan dominion has been re-established as a nation by Alejandro Santiago.
Alejandro’s first priority was to draw up borders. After that he chose advisors and officials to help him oversee the respective responsibilities of the nation. Sparta is being brought into a world of revolutionary industry and steam engines.
The Reno Age
Snowrealia has partly taken a turn from its militarism in this age and was led by Reno Soll, a charming and relaxed ruler who allowed for more economic freedoms. These acts made Snowrealia one of the biggest producers of metal, which will come in important in the next age.
One drawback to Reno's leadership though, is that the Black Family was a strong force around this age, and the foundation of corruption in the Age of Division. What's more is that tensions are rising between the Snowrealian ally and somewhat client state Ozcanissa and the Empire of Rumberg (That is from Suzerain, I know)
Reno is close to his death bed, and his son, Sirius, who already had secured the loyalty of the military as a general, is more than eager to take power the second his father dies. Although the Black Family is also trying to make moves once Reno dies, Sirius is focused on stopping their further ascension in power and uplifting his own.
Overall, despite the increasing political turmoil, living quality for average citizens is increasing with the invention of steam engines and the rising middle class. Sorcery was left somewhat abandoned due to the dissapearance of Grand Arbiter Zena and First Emperor Noah Layne. For now, there are two possibilities
1. Sirius Takes Over
Sirius takes over with the power of the military and undermines the Black Family's efforts, securing his control over Snowrealia, and decreasing corruption caused by them
2. Sirius is left in a stalemate
The Black Family successfully pushes policies that undermines Sirius's heritage and causes the throne to fall into a council instead of solely and what should be Sirius

Alejandro Santiago has began to focus on foreign policy.
Rogue River: Historical enemy’s. Alejandro will not seek any conflict with Rogue.
Chalistine: Sparta has had its up and downs with chalistine and will also not seek any hostility.
Snowrealia: Historically allies. Alejandro hopes they can be allies again.
Epirot: historical enemies. That’s it basically…

All foreign relations have been cut from Epirot and some changes in the navy have been ongoing as well as a cut from trade as well.
Situation in Epirot
The king of the NCF has made an announcement about the situation. In fear of spies, the NCF will not allow any citizens with a Epirotan Passport and that the Embassy of NCF in Ambio is closing. "It's not about you," says the king. "We have been natural enemy's since Our beloved Uther's Exodus out of Epirot. I thought since we were far distantly related that we can get along that maybe I can purchase a small island but instead of politely rejecting it, they refuse to even host a meeting. Suffering from Success
The attack of Pagan pirates has gone quite well, crippling over 100 ships and scaring off even more. However, a representative of one of the Pagan states has arrived at PM Fiore's door, claiming a peaceful trade vessel was attacked. While it clearly sounds like a desperate attempt to justify retaliation, there is a good chance that the Navy just shot at any ship without a Chalistinian flag, a non-pirate vessel was mistaken as such. Fiore has denied the event, as no report from either side has been filed.
Tensions are rising, and the nationalists, after rebranding as Puragena(Pure Nation), have begun rallying for a holy conquest against the East. Their popularity is rising, but there is still a balance of power in the CDR
