I did some digging the guy seems to be their "Attorney General" and a "senator", so not a RO, but he seems to have a position in their political system or government, so I don't think he's just a random resident of their region.

Evening Gay, how are yall this evening?
To add to all of this Empire of Impiria their Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs was once the leader of a fascist region called The Coalition of NS Fascists. I heard from a source.
Doing good, you?
Oh yeah that region I Reformed.
Did you join it when it was fascist? What were some of the reforms?
I joined it right around the start. Most of the fascist stuff was for the alternative history rp. But for the government we had elections and then we moved to a new region to rud ourselves of the name as it was hindering inter-regional politics. That didn't work out so that's where I ended up in the ucn.
Did it have embassies with other fascist regions?
I don't think so we didn't get to the point of having embassies. At least I know I never got the chance to make any.
Honestly why even join or make a region with that name, you say it was mostly "rp" and "history stuff" (context needed for "history stuff"), which implies it was at least partially ideological and that's not great.
Very well, sry I decided to log off of MS to sleep after the message
Great! Don't worry lol, everyone needs to sleep.
Hello everyone :)
The Orcuan Weekly: |
This Week’s Advice From Orcuo:
Most entrepreneurs start out small. From a local grocery store or a town bound wholesales company, businesses begin at the bottom. But just because you start low doesn’t mean your profits have to be low. There is one industry that will guarantee that you make your investment back in no time flat! That industry is… charity fraud! It is very simply: first choose a cause to support, this can be anything from helping local firefighters to helping cancer-riddled children; next you raise funds with the claim that they’ll go towards helping your target group, you can do this by direct donations or creating consumer products that will go towards the fundraising; give 40% of your profits towards the group you were suppose to be helping, while also giving another 10% to the head(s) of that group to be silent on the matter; and presto! You’re a millionaire! And you are worshipped by the public as a hero! Now, if things were to ever break down and people were to find out about your little scheme, plausible deniability is always bound to come in handy. You may also want to consider fleeing the country if things get a little too heated. So what are you waiting for my fellow entrepreneurs! Get out there and make some money!
This Week’s Profound Quote:
“Golf courses are always better when they are built in areas with a lack of water access.”

Dispatch of the Week:
Babe, wake up. New meme just dropped.
Wtf, dude was so bad it was worth it to ban the whole of New Zealand just to get rid of him! 🤣
Hi everyone!
Founder, Governor & Senator of the Union of Christian Nations here!
Firstly - I want to say our Embassy with Gay is really important to the region and personally to me. I'm a Christian, yes, was previously a minister at a Baptist Church, yes, and I'm also bi and in a same-sex marriage, and care deeply about LGBT+ equality and advocate for it inside and outside the Church. My faith and sexuality are integral to who I am! Enough about me...
The Union of Christian Nations is a diverse region. We have theological and political progressives, moderates and conservatives; protestants, catholics and orthodox; those of other faiths and no faith at all. That being said, LGBT+ people are protected from bullying and discrimination in our law and Constitution and that extends to the conduct of members of our region in other regions too. Whilst we tolerate a range of theological viewpoints, if anyone is ever homophobic or transphobic, that's a serious breach of our law and the UCN government wants to know about it and do something about it.
The allegations against Empire of Impiria have been investigated. The UCN has no room for fascists - never has and never will. We are convinced this nation is not fascist and does not harbour fascist views - if you have evidence to the contrary about their current conduct, please let me know.
Otherwise, have an incredible day and I really, really hope relations between our regions can be strengthened :)
Hijjma, Mendevia, Western Weassey, and Gideon
Orthodox Christian? Based. Same, and against reactionary LARPers
What I found out by profound contemplation is that most cobservatives use Christianity as a sort of medal and tool to bring back a glorified past
This often degenerates into unhealthy obsession with societal life cycles, mythology and where Christianity looks too weak for them, paganism
All in the name of an etatist totalitarian "utopia", where spirituality is a mere human instrument , there to be "explored", as some kind of fetishized tourist attraction
I call this "exotism" and it's disgusting
Best aesthetic, even the architecture is my favourite in human history

^^ I cannot repeat this enough. Conservatives, like they usually do, just take symbols and religions previously advocating for union, peace, and completely twist it from its original meaning until it fits them. It's important to preserve and stand for what Christianity actually means, us as LGBTQ should embrace Jesus' teachings whether we believe in His divinity or not, and not let them do what the n*zis did to a buddhist icon.

Text above! We need to embrace religious people, not distance them from cause and generalize them, or else we will never bring awareness.
Someone TGed me about it, it just had me worried. If you think the dude is in the clear I will give the benefit of the doubt, with regards to Empire of Impiria for now.
Do you have anything to say regarding the situation with Austrin?
^^ I cannot repeat this enough. Conservatives, like they usually do, just take symbols and religions previously advocating for union, peace, and completely twist it from its original meaning until it fits them. It's important to preserve and stand for what Christianity actually means, us as LGBTQ should embrace Jesus' teachings whether we believe in His divinity or not, and not let them do what the n*zis did to a buddhist icon.
I do tend to believe religion is more than mere comfort and peace, religion is strong emphasys on introspection, combatting own sins, trusting in the divinity of Jesus and the falibility of material world, as well as in Orthodox fashion, trust in the holy teachings, as well in God outside own rationality. I am a Romanian returning to faith, and a great deal was that Orthodoxy relied on mysticism, but unlike esoteric beliefs, everyone in an exoteric way is welcomed and more than capable to engage in deep Hesychaist lifestyle, or at least, relationship with God.
In the end Church tradition is not to be imposed by law or "abided", but recognized with the heart. You can know all about God, but if you do not "feel" it, it's pointless.

mhm! Hence why all theocracies are doomed to fail, once a faith is imposed on you by force, stripping you out of what you are, of what you need to be, treating you as a mere infidel or a sinner, it's no longer the action of the Holy Spirit.
I also see it in the lense of what I love to call "Fatalist Positivitism". God will proclaim His eternal Kingdom, and with it, we can discern a linear historical development, toward an ensured optimistic end. Though this spirit of history is necessarily moving toward decay and moral deprecation, thus, in my view, we cannot "return" to the past, because one is God's role to purify us, not ourselves, but also because the past is gone, seen as a sinful start with the fall of Adam and Eve. But if that's the case, conservatives only want to delay the inevitable progress toward a finality, plus embroil themselves in same senseless utopianism and material analysis as the most hardcore Marxists
In the end, laws represent the spirit afforementioned, and thus, laws are not here to impose, but to present the amount of social decay, which in turn depict evil less as an external threat, and more of an internal one, found within everyone
Anyone wanting to bring the change may forget own evilness and it's social aspect, thus instead of bringing a new period, they risk corrupting further, creating chaos and destructiom
