First! :p

Welcome everyone to the new home of the United Federation of Planets! This is sort of scary, but the government is really trying to keep the region safe!

Big changes should be a bit scary. Otherwise the changes wouldn't be so big.

In the meantime... seems a bit lonely, doesn't it?

How ironic would it be if THIS is what causes our region to die. I'm probably wrong, though. I'm glad you're giving everybody time to move. B^)

Trektopolis - I would be a fool to have not considered that possibility. Thank you for having enough faith in us to make the move.

Hey guys, moved as soon as I saw the telegram, good to be here!

Welcome all! Given how big a move this is I think we're doing quite well. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hello all! I've been inactive for a bit, but I'm still around. How is everyone?
When Hallowe'en comes around, I wish to pursue the military option with this nation. Is that alright in this region, or do you want me to go elsewhere for the duration of Hallowe'en?
Also I just won delegacy in another region with my main nation. After my installation on the 12th, what do you guys think about building an embassy with New World Union?

Pdhtn: Congratulations! An embassy sounds like a good idea!

I wouldn't mind doing military option this time, mostly for variety. What is everyone's feeling's on the zombies?

Um, I've always been gone during the zombies... what does,"the military option with this nation," mean exactly?

There are three options during NSZ: researching a cure, killing zombies, or joining zombies.
Nations that research a cure can convert infected citizens back into humans. They can also launch cure missiles into other nations.
Nations that kill zombies can reduce the zombie population with the side effect of an increased death toll. They can also send strike teams into other nations.
Nations that join zombies (aka jerk nations) can surrender themselves to the zombies, increasing their zombie population. They can also send zombies into other nations.
The more you work on your options, the more efficient you become. You will not have the missiles/strike teams/invasion forces right away, but they come with enough research/killing/infecting.
The more zombies you have in your nation, the faster the zombie population will increase, and the faster other nations' zombie populations will increase. If the zombies are around long enough, they will start to die out, increasing the death toll.
The status of one region will not affect another. There will be a worldwide leaderboard, and I think there's a regional one, too.

Thanks! That definitely clears a lot of my questions! Thank you PDHTN.

FIND A CURE!

We probably need to make a poll on the zombie issue closer to the event.

Hi everyone. I want to apologize in advance. I'm not going to be able to be very active for the next week or two. My mom had surgery this morning. It's nothing life threatening but she won't have use of her right hand for a while, so my dog and I have moved back in temporarily. I suspect I'll be more useful than my dog, but who knows? She is quite comforting.

I hope for your mom's speedy recovery. It's has to be frustrating for her, I'm sure you'll be a great help (and your dog an excellent distraction!)

Ugh what's with the cobwebs and the perfume smell near my desk?

Ok folks, Aksun is here and it doesn't seem he likes his new office. Let's be sure to endorse him... and me, Disco, anyone you like really. Just as long as Aksun has the delicacy again. God forbid he should have to smell perfume.

Though to be fair, Disco doesn't strike me as the overly perfumed type. Probably not important but there, I said it.

Hmm... Esto is there something I should know? *he said jokingly and in a teasing fashion*

Haha. Essential oils and perfume aren't the same things. *
Esto replies, sniffing furtively at his wrists*

I do wear perfume sometimes, but I make a sample bottle last for months. Definitely not enough to stick...

Oh man the talk of perfume. Red shirts open the airlock...

(Whispering to Estononia) Oh shoot. Do we need to find him another welcome back present?

The mods were nice enough to turn on regional officers for us (I asked)!

(Looking around the room) Why don't we just tell him that fern over there is from us?
