No, there are usually multiple issues that can change a policy. But yes, it can take quite a while. I'm still waiting so I can officially be recognized as a monarchy

I got my monarchy one just before the downtime, snatched it up

Ur Daily question from ur favorite Autistic Hungarian.

Do your country language have a word that sounds extremely wierd if u say it in ur country language where everyone understand English but if u translate to English its sounds perfectly normal?

Well, my Language, The Hungarian Language have a lot, but I will tell one, and that word is the: Fakanál. (The Fakanál word means wooden spoon in English, and it is a complex word which if we divide it into two, it must be done like this: Fa Kanál, and not like this: Fa[k] [a]n[á]l).

(Pls dont ban me, I just explained how to separate it)

G’day mates!

Terrible day for u too. (ITS RAINING THAT MUCH IN HUNGARY THAT WE HAVE FLOOD IN THE LOWLAND)

Hungarian:
Isten áldd meg a Magyart,
Jó kedvvel, bőséggel,
Nyújts feléje védő kart,
Ha küzd ellenségel;
Bal sors akit régen tép,
Hoz rá víg esztendőt,
Megbünhödte már e nép,
Múltat s jövendőt!

English:
God, bless the Hungarians,
With good cheer, abundance,
Extend a protective arm to him,
If you fight an enemy;
An evil fate that has torn him apart for a long time,
Make it a happy year,
This people has already punished him,
Past and future!

March 15: 1848-49 Hungarian War of Independence.
October 23: 1956 Revolution and War of Independence.
June 19 Memorial Day: withdrawal of the last Soviet troops;
Last Saturday of June: Hungarian Freedom Day.

Well, I can't come up with any word at the moment between English and Italian. But I know something about a Spanish word that sound similar to an Italian one, but they have different meanings.
The Spanish word is "cazo", which means pan.
However, in Italian, it resembles another word (it's the same letters, but with double z), which is a swear word and it is even used to refer to that organ that only males have.

Hey, I'm kinda new here. What are some tips y'all could give me?

welcome to europeia! this is a handy dispatch for getting started:

Fun Fact:
Europeia was originally founded on March 6th, 2007 by King HEM. While the region was originally a monarchy, on June 30th, 2007, it became the thriving republic we know today.

Welcome to Europeia! If you want to get involved in our region, you've come to the right place! Hop aboard the train to success:

Stop One

Your first step is to join the World Assembly and endorse our regional Delegate UPC, Vice Delegate PhDre, and Regional Security Officers Decacon, Le Libertia, Pland Adanna and Primorye Oblast. This is the easiest but most important way you can help in making our region stronger and more secure! You also get to build influence for your nation, vote on World Assembly proposals, and even draft a proposal yourself!

To learn more about the World Assembly, you can check out our How to Thrive in the World Assembly Dispatch!

Stop Two

Your next step is to join our regional Linkforums (the seat of our government) and apply for Linkcitizenship! Citizenship allows you to get involved in our regional government, have a higher endorsement cap, and vote in our elections!

For step-by-step instructions on how to get your Europeian citizenship, you can check out our How to Apply for Citizenship in Europeia Dispatch!

Stop Three

In addition to the forums, our vibrant community hangs out a lot on our LinkDiscord server and our Regional Message Board! Introduce yourself in both areas and make a friend or two! You will especially want to be in our Discord server for fun events, socializing, and government work!

Before you head over to the Regional Message Board, please be sure to read the Europeian RMB Rules and Expectations Dispatch.

Stop Four

Now that you're a citizen, join a Linkministry (or two, or more!). Our executive government is comprised of many different exciting ministries, and even a Navy! Citizenship also grants you opportunities to get involved in our government's legislative branch through the LinkPeople's Assembly, an all-citizen parliament that advises our Senate, and judicial branch through the LinkBar Association, which offers comprehensive legal education!

If you'd like to familiarize yourself more with our system of government before diving in, that's totally fine! Check out our Guide to the Europeian Government Dispatch!

Don't Stop!

Congratulations! You're now an active and engaged Europeian citizen. But Europeian train to success doesn't stop there! With time, you can become a Minister, Senator, Justice, or perhaps even President one day! There are many different ways to contribute and rise in Europeia!

If you have any questions, make sure to ask here in our LinkNewcomer's Hall, on the Regional Message Board, or on the Discord server! This community is very friendly, and we all want to help you succeed!

We wish you the best of luck, and hope to see you soon!

Oh, thanks, btw, I had an Alliance in Europe called Defender's of Europe, tho before I got kicked from Europe, its falled apart.

Dalesbrough wrote:Hey, I'm kinda new here. What are some tips y'all could give me?

Keep in mind, issues determine what government, environment or taxes and what policies you have. So read the issues carefully and think about what it would mean for the daily life of your population. Everything else, like your nations history or if you want to join the World Assembly, is pretty much up to you

Do you mean like a false friend? There are a lot of words that translate completely differently than you would expect. Especially movie titles fell victim to this, something like "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children". In German, if you translate it word for word back into English, it's "Island of special/peculiar children". There are much funnier examples, the German YouTuber Coldmirror actually has a video format on what English movie titles would sound like in German and it's often very anti dramatic. Then there are German words like "Handy" meaning "phone" or "aktuell" which means "currently", your standart false friends in German

Hi I'm back again 😎😎

Hello 👋

Damn, tomorrow's my last official day here. I won't miss this place much though.
