Hodges v. Obergefell — they might explore that, in my opinion. The Supreme Court hasn't addressed it recently, though. They need a fresh case in order to reverse a ruling. I don't anticipate the Supreme Court taking up Loving v. Virginia. There is a solid reason why you hardly ever see it mentioned in court these days.

As if things couldn't get any worse, the Texas attorney general has declared today a "holiday" in the state.

For Civ VII, they should keep the districts,
However please make them visually distinct,
Like every architectural style get sits own kind,

I find it kinda weird how Norway, Maori and China all have to use the Greco-Roman style districts (especially with the extremely roman aqueduct that doesnt go anywhere visually)

Also please make the buildings smaller, and make urban sprawl greater, and make everything more dense

OH and please make the plantation improvement look better, make the actual plantation part bigger (with smaller models ofc) and perhaps even make them look different depending on the type of resource, because a vineyard would not and should not look the same as a silk plantation

Guess I’m in an argument in another region with whether laws against murder are a violation of free will (they aren’t, you have the choice to kill someone) and what privileges are covered by the Fourteenth Amendment such as noble privilege as a part of feudalism (The US is not a feudal society, nor does it have nobles), how’s your day?

In the late game as you get spammed by hoards of AI traders there are roads on basically every single tile,
Leading to what's essentially a bunch of crop circles. I like the idea behind roads being built by traders but honestly I think that traders should just spawn ancient roads, and then the player can choose to upgrade them for free with a builder to classical/industrial/whatever, and make ancient roads disappear after a while. It really bothers me when the AI sends a trade route in like turn 30 through my borders and it just automatically upgrades as time goes by, especially since the way the connect is so ugly. As a bonus to make it worthwhile to upgrade roads make them give off the same effects as in civ V, bonus money for cities connected to the capital, make it scale with the level of roads too if you need more balancing because I really hate it here surrounded by the most ugly roads I've seen in my life.

A possible way to make it less ugly would be to stop making the roads snake around improvements and districts, make the roads go through the districts / improvements and make them be centered around the road, would look way better and also be a tad bit more realistic. For improvements, make the main building, farmhouse, château, plantation building or whatever be placed next to the road while placing the remaining assets around the tile

Another niche improvement would be to place house assets around most improvements, in real life most farms, plantations and castles were surrounded by a small community that worked in / with / around it, would also make the countryscape look better with little villages dotted around
