Hello, my fellow Conchers! I am happy to announce a region-wide event! It's called ConchVision, basically Eurovision, but not. Follow the instructions in this dispatch if you would like to participate:
If you want to participate, then you can send a song via Telegram (Hubdova) or you can DM me it on discord (Andy78#3089). Please include the name of the song, who it is by, and a link to the song (Youtube, Spotify, Youtube Music) in your entry. The songs will be separated into groups (depending on the number of entries) for voting after the 21st.
And that's about it, it's quite simple really, just make sure the songs are not racist, homophobic, or anything else like that.
The time window for submitting songs to me is from Tuesday, 16 August to Sunday, 21 August.
After 21 August, I will send out a Telegram to the participants with a voting form where you will rank the songs from best to worst (not including your own) in their respective groups. You will have until Wednesday 24 August to submit your rankings (Note: If you submit a song, but don't vote, you are disqualified from the event).
The winners of each group will be put into the Grand Finals where the participants will rank these from best to worst (again, not including your own) and the top three winners will be announced out of that group. (the disqualification rule again applies here, even if your song doesn't make it into the Grand Finals). You will have between Thursday, 25 August and Sunday 28 August to do this.
