Many nation states are dealing with huge pension obligations based on union contracts going back upwards of 50 years.
Xyanth has no such problem as most business owners in Xyanth would keelhaul anyone outside of their directorate telling them what they have to pay and offer their workers. This includes government agencies as well. Workers are responsible for their own retirement funds. Some employers, including the government, will contribute to their retirement accounts as a benefit, but that is where the relationship ends.
How do you deal with enormous pension debt? How do you think other nations should deal with it?
Ours go about the same. The way your are different is that you seem to have help with the workers retirement. It's all up to the worker if he/she/they want it to go there. The government our Lodricar wants it to go for their retirement, but if the workers do not, they do not object. They track all currency, flow though.
The contributions to the worker retirement accounts are a benefit to recruit and keep good employees. Based on what civil servants get paid in Xyanth and the demands on their performance, it is necessary to offer things like this to get quality public servants.
Huh, I didn't even know I became delegate or would become it. Well, I'll do whatever I can to support this region and support Capitalist Paradise.
