Well I managed to keep myself from going into the grave again, but I'm working overtime for the past few weeks to get systems ready for the June Primary in New York and I'll probably be busy for the next few weeks as well. This week I was working 12 hour days as well as today and tomorrow.

my sympathies. i worked a 64-hour week about two months ago. that was a mental, physical, and emotional struggle.

Fortunately, I went back to a simple 10 hour day with 7 hours on Sat Sun. Once we finish the June Primary we have to get ready for the August Primary. At least the overtime pay will help.

The Star Empire of Ainocra is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Supreme Marshal Alcon Enta with an even hand, and remarkable for its multi-spousal wedding ceremonies, irreverence towards religion, and compulsory gun ownership.

Bring your guns to the wedding, all your spouses are! LOL

So my Swarm app reminded me that I have been going to work 20 days straight in a row. Have to work tomorrow as well. Hopefully next Saturday I will finally have a day off.

I'm back. I just got reliable internet back.

I don't believe this. I don't f*cking believe this. Max Barry Day is now official, and completely legal: page=WA_past_resolution/id=407/council=2

#uck the Security Council.

Well do you want to f**k with them even more and resurrect my Thessadorian Ambassador Appreciation Day resolution now that it is apparently legal? At the worst the jeeters in the SC will actually pass it. At best we can troll and leave a bad taste in the mouths of the SC regulars and remind them why they hate us.

was that the same as Maxtopia?

The Security Council has the authority to address holidays? That seems like something the general would handle.

Exxosia formally condemns the WA for being awful.

Exxosia does this hourly anyway, but this time it has more emphasis and expletives.

Perpetual Exemption wrote:was that the same as Maxtopia?

*sigh*...yes, this was just an excuse for a brown-nosing SCer (is there any other kind?) to "commend" Max (or, his first nation) without really commending him. Unwittingly, in this desperate little maneuver of theirs, they re-established Max Barry Day. Stupid idiots.

Good to see ol Sedgie still hates the AO. He needs to be wittier if he really wants to insult us though.

Krioval

The SC proving they were desperate to be a knock-off WA all along ever since declarations were introduced has been amusing to watch.

I was looking at my stats and saw this:

nation=exxosia/detail=trend/regions=antarctic_oasis?censusid=49

My taxation plummets are so huge, they affect the entire region's stat line. XD

I don't see what the problem here is. The SC has, from the moment it was created to give the region raiders something else to do has always broken the fourth wall of the game system. Heck just mentioning the idea of regions was supposed to break the old UN/WA-GA Fourth Wall. Giving banners to nations and regions was a daft idea (although removing password restrictions, aka liberations, did have a real impact on the game) and having people just babble on about whatever they want "Declare" was the dumbest idea ever in the history of the game.

New NS fun poll! voting time boi! >:)

i'm in 10th place for Most Politically Free.

i figure that's well-done in a region that's libertarian.

Freedom is one of the foundations of the AO...well at least according to Senator Sulla in his patented (and drunken) Mt. Manisthishigh speech.😜

Yeah, political freedom is a hard one to keep up in NS. Half of the responses to the issues trend toward some sort of socialist psychopathy so you get situations where you tell people they can't burn puppies alive and that decreases your political freedom because Max or some deranged issue writer deems that a benevolent form of super good political speech.

Sapient Rights is up for vote. If I can muster up some ideas maybe Deputy Ambassador Philo Simeon will show up. I voted Yes only for sh*ts and giggles. It has no chance to pass...just like the other attempts.

Hey there fellas! I am now a nation. How's it hanging?

True, true.

I am rather surprised that nobody here had claimed this nation name yet.
