After spending 7 hours running around campus trying to secure a loaner laptop (which Niner Tech, the on campus computer store, agreed to supply in 2017, but now they bluntly said they no longer do that. They also refused to help extract my data; I had to call a cousin in the school IT department for help!) and spending 84 bucks on cords I’ll probably never use again in my life, I managed to use a TV as an external monitor to back up my files, but then discovered that my thesis I’ve spent almost a year on, somehow reverted to a version from a month ago, with all my big edits since then gone. And because I’ve used my MacBook for the last three years, the Dell loaner I got from the library is...difficult to use since I have such little experience with Windows or this giant bulky monster that won’t even connect to my dorm wifi properly!
Gah. I have zero motivation to re-rewrite my thesis. And top it all off, my sister is feeling sick, and my resume was rejected with zero explanation as to why.
And that’s just yesterday.

Damn Cybus, I agree that this is a horrible situation. I wish you the best in getting this fixed.
