I calculated my population and built military rates at like 2.5% this is the calculations
total population after doing all of my map

(added growth of 3.5%)
half of that is just brazil
i added some cities with populations in the carribvean but that addition is less the 20m population
using US gdp per person(since modern)

yes but you arent the soviet union you are Russia and Russia has 900k army and 2.4m reserves(russia also has like 134m pop which having that much would kill your economy)

the Virgin Government announces a 1 year plan to add 60 ships to the navy this includes 2 aircraft carriers(all modern fyi) 20 submarines 20 destroyers 3 Cruisers 8 Frigates 7 Ballistic missile submarines are constructed over a 1 year period and the cost is estimated to be around $117b the Government hopes to modernize the navy but also believes the project could take a couple of years to complete the one year part is more hopeful
