Where are all my missiles!? Did someone forget to unclog the zombies from the missile silos?

Everyone's Cure Research got reset to zero, which is less than cool. For now, go have a meal or short break while this gets sorted out.

Those of you selecting military action need to either keep your guns quiet, switch to researching the cure, or head somewhere else for this weekend. We're trying for max survivors and shooting the region up isn't going to go over well.

I call shenanigans! zombie shenanigans!

Innato is carrying the region right now. It's like you're the only one around with cure missiles that work.

Done with the commute...
Back to healing :)

Third Set of Cure Missile Targets:

When we begin the third series Cure Missiles will be targeted at Miratejo, then we in order go to Outter Micronesia, then Lavoie et Saint Tuc, then Cthonian Wasteland, then Troll-la-la, then Half-Milers, then Dub dizzle, then Seydisfodur, then Hermiones Knickers, then Wars Forever, then FJK Rants, then A chip and Fish Shop, then 66 Ducks, then finally ThirdWorld, after which we begin the next series of nation states.

The largest nations need to be targeted first, but someone has been tasked to work on the smaller nations as well so they’re not forgotten in the mayhem.

Fourth Set of Cure Missile Targets:

We begin the fourth series if Cure Missiles targeted at, in order, starting with Miratejo, then we in order go to Outter Micronesia, then Lavoie et Saint Tuc, then Cthonian Wasteland, then Troll-la-la, then Half-Milers, then Dub dizzle, then Seydisfodur, then Hermiones Knickers, then Wars Forever, then FJK Rants, then A chip and Fish Shop, then 66 Ducks, then finally ThirdWorld, after which we begin the next series of nation states.

Fifth Set of Cure Missile Targets:

We begin the fifth series if Cure Missiles targeted at, in order, starting with Masaka and Korgano, then we in order go to Captain Hindsight, then Keyser Soze, then Questa Verde, then Clair de Lune, then Oranginia, then AndorEmpire, then AndorEmpire, then Hafamarimyht, then Caalia, then 3v, then AC Cobra, then Amerisim, then finally Southmen, after which we begin the next series of nation states.

Sixth Set of Cure Missile Targets:

We begin the sixth series if Cure Missiles targeted at, in order, starting with Halluci Nations, then we in order go to Wawa Fea Vaca, then Benzi reyes 2, then Benzi reyes 3, then Super luigi u, then Planet guacamole, then ShipFan-, then Khauran, then Thaikadi, then Enzos epic empire, then North Sloughtown Metropolis, Betler, then then Horribele, Imakhan, then then Upperworld, then finally Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, after which we begin the next series of nation states.

The largest nations need to be targeted first, but someone will be tasked to work on the smaller nations as well so they’re not forgotten in the mayhem. Unfortunately, with so many nations having their research and cure missile abilities reset, it could be 5-7 hours before a lot of us can resume the fight.

Oh great, they're doing a gimmick with zombies coming back to life...er...undeadness. How amusing.

I misclicked once...
My missles' effectiveness is now 10% from what it was an hour ago...
Maybe cured nations are more effective?

Please don't kill the zombies

Oranginia is in dire need of assistance from other nations or, if nothing would be done about it, it's going to be over for us.

Did we give up?

We got messed with a lot. Regions that trusted the event's quarantine border control saw it "magically" vanish, as it has happened in recent years, so I had zero trust in that from the get go. They also had the dead start to reanimate.

The worst part was the reset, after a few hours of nations going full tilt, launching cure missiles. The larger nations that were targeted first and had no zombies were suddenly reset, leaving only the nations we hadn't yet gotten to. We were 15 minutes away from detailing someone to start at the other end and start curing the smaller nations when suddenly nobody had any missiles. They changed the rules, part way through the game, so the potency of your research/missiles was linked to how many zombies you had in your nation.

Then somebody, let's call them Wars Forever decided to start killing all the zombies instead of curing them or allow zombies to build up enough to allow researchers to have effective missiles.

There were some other changes made part way to ensure that this event was more of an unholy mess than usual, but that's the gist of it. Last year, they also fiddled with things a lot to mess with players, but without the enforced downtime to kill player activity.

gday guys this is last met with u all

So the weather has been interesting in the second half of the year, here in SW British Columbia. First a heat wave kills hundreds, then a low pressure weather bomb locates just far enough away from me not to be windy but not wipe the place out, then there's a large tornado just off the coast of Vancouver, and people are still coping with the aftermath of the devastation from an atmospheric river triggering landslides and flooding from the Island, to the coast, up into the mountains, and into the BC Interior.

Me and mine are fine, because as usual the mild weather I enjoy means what's inconvenient here is a catastrophe elsewhere. A lot of people are in tough. Logistic routes that bring in gas and a lot of supplies are just being opened up here, but elsewhere they will be down for weeks. Naturally the selfish hoarders are hitting the gas stations and supermarkets to stress the system as much as possible, causing most of the shortages to happen right away or that never would have happened at all. There are communities cut off from both directions, with work crews and soldiers working tirelessly to open up truck routes and rescue livestock from flooded areas.

We finished in 7th; that’s pretty good!

So building banks across my cities didn’t improve my economy, but saying some nice words to my BaseBall league made it rise from Average to Stronk \_(;_;)_/

The issues don't make as much sense as they used to. It's all a bit of a mess now.
