Too bad there's nothing Abelist can do to stop free press, especially press from another country. Fortunately, the opinion of a random broadcaster has nothing to do with the opinion of the Vantierian government on Abelist and King Daniel. We hope that King Daniel's ego wasn't hurt too badly. Best wishes from Vantier.

You refer to me as a pest despite me doing more than enough for the Union. I have given my people democratic power and more. I am far away from a pest. I would suggest you watch your tongue.

Vantier wrote:That sounds really expensive! A new capital, moving your government and the residence of your leaders there... It must pay off, or it will be the biggest waste of money we have ever seen.

It shall be the new Pearl of the Orient, a shining example to the Pasifikaaner people that we stand tall above those who wish to oppress us. Of course it comes with all the public amenities and housing famous in the great Pan-Pacific State. It is meant to decongest the already incredibly overcrowded city of Jakarta, the old historical capital of the Pan-Pacific. Through a vote, people have decided to move the new government capital to a more central location in the island of Tokelau, to be better representative of the Pasifikaaner people as a whole and to avoid the idea of favoritism in the way of the Indo and Malay people of the Java islands. Rest assured, after many years of construction and labour, it will be well worth its construction.

It is a step in the right direction, we the people of the Pan-Pacific States wish to congratulate you and your people for finally choosing the democratic option.

We are still a monarchy.

Freedom News has absolutely nothing to do with the Vantierian government. They are simply a broadcaster that is relatively popular and Freedom News was comparing every single monarchy (including Vantier's one) to a pest. Maybe the right term was parasite. A parasite is an organism that lives off another organism, causing them to be in pain but without killing them. What Freedom News was referring to was that, in their opinion, monarchs aren't useful but they still need quite a lot of money, money that comes from the taxes the citizens of that nation pay. An ideology we don't agree with, but we must respect. Abelist is definately NOT a pest nor it is a parasite, as it is a very important nation to the TIU. However, considering King Daniel's reaction, he may know that, in the very end, he might be a parasite. After all, it wasn't until very recently when Abelist finally became a true democracy, and he has been in charge for longer.

We are glad to know that such a relevant country for the TIU knows what it is doing. In the end, what's best for a member of the TIU is also best for everyone in the TIU. We wish it will be a thriving city. The Pan-Pacific States can count on Vantier for any help they may need in the future.

It is still a step in right direction, any form of democracy is preferable to the lack thereof

What a shame! Vantier was ready to give a good impression in Tokelau and show possible investors that would come that Vantier is a wonderful place to invest and put their money into, but we don't mind waiting if that makes the event safer.

Although we cannot fully support you and in your war aginst Communism, we can send 20,000 Royal Marines, Weapons, Ammunation, food and medical supplies. That's all we can do to help assist you in this war.

Of course we understand! Allow the event to occur with Communist militias terrorizing your country would have been a very bad idea. Just take your time fighting those Commies, the event can wait and so do we.
