OWL recommends voting FOR the at-vote resolution, "Liberate Realm of the Whispering Winds". The Delegate has been asked to cast their vote accordingly.
Please find below the Office's Analysis for an examination of the resolution and the reasons for the final recommendation.
The at-vote resolution, "Liberate Realm of the Whispering Winds", seeks to preemptively remove the possibility of setting a regional password for the region of Realm of the Whispering Winds ‒ as noted by the proposal, the Realm is currently being ruthlessly subjugated by invader forces, who could use a regional password to purge the region without interference by defender forces trying to liberate the Realm from raiders' destructive clutches.
The South Pacific, faithful to her values of regional sovereignty and self-determination, wholeheartedly throws her support behind this effort, and the Office applauds the speedy yet diligent manner with which this important step in restoring the native government of the Realm has been prepared. While quality of writing usually plays a somewhat lesser role for Liberation proposals due to their time-sensitive nature, we are happy to note that this proposal nonetheless meets a good standard. With the threat of a regional password and subsequent destruction looming over the Realm and the legitimate regional government having given its consent to this Liberation, we not only see no reason to oppose, but almost an obligation to support the proposal.
Thus, OWL recommends a vote FOR the at-vote resolution, "Liberate Realm of the Whispering Winds".
