Happy Piccolo Day, the only holiday that matters!

Just-an-illusion

"Are you sure you want to do this Ray....?" Lucas asked as he looked down upon the remains of the StoryTale universe that was destroyed by Soul King a long time ago before his banishment.

"I'm sure... Its about time my friends got a true happy ending instead of having to suffer all the time. With Soul King gone as well as the other evils that plagued my universe, I want to try and at least give them a good ending." A grown up Ray said as she brushed some hair out of her left eye as she looked towards Lucas.

"Even still I doubt that once I recreate this universe... There will still be evil in your universe." Lucas said as he crossed his arms to look at Ray.

"Well this time me and my friends will be prepared next time, so you don't have to worry about us anymore." Ray said.

"In that case... I will help you recreate your universe and reset its entire timeline. Once I have done that, I shall send you into this universe and from this point on you will have the power to save and reset whenever you feel like it. I wish you the best of luck kid." Lucas explained as he hugged Ray.

"I probably couldn't have redeemed myself if it wasn't for you Ray... Now go change your friends' path."

Lucas soon let go of Ray and soon started to focus on the remains of the StoryTale universe and began to put it back together once again as he did this the memories of everyone in that universe were wiped away as Lucas began resetting its timelines. Everyone Ray knew would forget everything that had happened and the fun times they once had. After a few minutes had gone by the StoryTale Universe was finally recreated from the ground up and now it was up to Ray to enter this new universe and decide its new fate.

"One more thing.... While recreating this universe. All the friends you knew will be completely different from their original counterparts and there will also be some new people you will meet as well. Another note once I send you into this universe you will have your child body back." Lucas explained.

"I'm fine with that... After all this is me basically starting an entire new life. Speaking of which I want you to erase all my memories of the original universe I will need to do this in order to experience this new life." Ray said.

"Very well... Then I guess this is goodbye then." Lucas said before teleporting Ray into the StoryTale universe.

Once this was done, Lucas continued to look at the universe and let out a small sad sigh before turning away and teleporting away.

StoryTale Universe

A long time ago.... Both Monsters and Humanity once lived in peace ruling the Earth together. However that peace was soon shattered as the humans declared war on the Monsters out of fear for their power to take human souls. The war lasted for many years before the humans finally won and sealed the Monsters underground with a magical barrier, according to many legends the barrier can only be broken by seven human souls. With no hope left the Monsters started to make the mountain their home and try to carry on.

Years later a child will climb the mountain and fall into the underground.... Will their fall change the entire fate of the Monsters?

Underground

Ray wakes up as she groaned in pain as she stood up and looked around, she didn't know where she was and she didn't even know how she survived such a fall from such a tall height. After looking around she continued to walk towards a large doorway wondering where it will take her, once Ray walked through the doorway she saw a little white flower with a face on it? Filled with curiosity, Ray walked towards the flower and see what it is is.

"Well hiya human! Golly is been a while since I last seen a human walk through here! In fact you almost look familiar... But I can't place my vines on it. Oh excuse me! How rude of me... I haven't introduced myself yet! My name is Echo and you are?" Echo asked stilling smiling.

"Uh... My name is Ray." Ray introduced herself.

"Where am I?"

"Well your underground silly duh! Here in the underground where Monsters live!" Echo explained.

"Wait... You mean the legends are true? I thought soul stealing Monsters were just a myth..." Ray said as fear shook her voice.

"Oh don't worry about that! Most of the monsters are pretty friendly down here... You see the King of this mountain is looking for the seventh human soul and he'll need it to break the barrier, so that Monsters can return to the surface!" Echo explained still smiling.

"But not to worry human! I will make sure you are protected! First let me show you what to do when you fight a monster! Are you ready? Here we go!" Echo said as the room became black and white while a small glowing red heart appeared above Ray's chest.

"You see that heart? That's your soul! It is what keeps you alive and gives you Determination also known as human magic. However, if your soul gets hurt you will take damage and possibly die... But not to worry! You can stay safe!" Echo explained as Ray kept quiet listening to what Echo had to say.

"You see Monsters can use magical projectiles that are able to hurt you soul... But you can easily dodge them. Here try to dodge some of my white pellets!" Echo said as he winked and summoned white pellets before starting to throw them towards Ray.

Ray seeing the pellets being thrown at her dodge each of the pellets with ease.

"Wow your pretty good at this! Listen I have to go now... But I will talk with you later! Not to worry human we will be the best of friends by the end of this journey!" Echo said as he disappeared into the ground.

After Echo left a ghost lady floated towards Ray.

"Oh dear... What's a child like you doing down here by yourself. Come with me my child I shall guide you and protect you." The ghost lady said.

"My name is Hani by the way... What is your name child?" Hani asked.

"My name is Ray." Ray introduced herself.

Thats quite the post to mark your comeback

Say I neve did hear about why Eating the beasts of the cursed forest was a bad idea. I could make Jeremy do it

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL. You ever wonder why the cursed forest is so "cursed" anyways? Why that particular pocket is just a giant NOPE so dangerous that Jet just kinda says "Yeah no you'll die" and even the likes of Sam only hangs around for so long? It's because there's a very close connection to Year of R stuff that has life there quite literally corrupted by some really bad juju. The trees, the grass, and all things that reside there are corrupted beyond repair because reasons, save for one mysterious old hag that lives at the very center of the forest. One with a particular fondness for hitting people with seemingly normal frying pans and rolling pins. Things not born or otherwise created by/from the forests corruption are free from falling victim to it just by mere presence in the forest, simply being there won't cause the corruption to take over you no matter how long you stay...the same cannot be said if someone were to SOMEHOW manage to kill and consume something of the forest.

Simply put, if Jeremy were to eat something from the forest...he would no longer be Jeremy. He'd be just another creature/monster bound to the forests borders.

IC the forest gives off SUPER bad vibes to anyone and everyone period, so even someone as stupid as Jeremy (not sorry) wouldn't dare even think to eat anything there. It's like an instinctual fear. So even those who get past the "stay the hell away" vibes would still have the sense to literally not eat anything no matter what. Or touch, really, but that part doesn't matter cause everything is trying to touch you...and not in the good way...so.

Oh, oooooh so that was why you reacted that way when Lewis-

Oh sh!t Lewis. Ah he's fine I guess.

Edit: Also its fine, Jeremy has zero real world experience bar fighting. He's like Goku, minus the plot armour that protects him from stuff like Victor and permadeath

Well Goku is a terrible example because he actually has some instincts to be a parental figure thanks to the Saiyan Bey. But you know what I mean

\\The Saiyan from Foli - Moving forward//

Hexon City Centre

After his grief and rage driven stress fit in the wilderness on his way to this city, rain was starting to pour down. Of course this didn’t bother him much since he used his Ki to create a dome over him so it just fell around him. Everyone else around him had their own sky shields and such to keep them fine from the downpour. The one armed Saiyan walked the busy streets of Hexon, a primarily human settlement that was currently undergoing burdened by worries of being annexed by the Senate, while other sung their praises to try and sway the despair of senate dystopian rule, they were still pretty well north of the ever expanding Senate border, but money and time were the only factors that were in their way as of present… None of the world powers have risen up to even attempt to put the Senate march of greedy expansion down out of fear of innocent casualties. He could hear it on the lips of people as they passed him by, while others were confused by the sight of a monkey’s tail on Jeremy. Not that he minded.

Jeremy could honestly care less about the Senate’s expansion currently, despite being an ex-Foundation asset he had no love for either group. I’ll still need to watch out for Senate peon’s trying to sweet talk me since they would kill to get their hands on some of the Foundations cloning tech… Beside his gripe of the Senate’s desires, his mind was far too burdened with the horror of his own situation in the fact that the ones he loved most were nothing more than timebombs…

He pushes such pessimistic thoughts into the back of his mind as he spots the government building he needed. The building was much older than most of the other structures in Hexon, a large U shaped building with ornate pillars with the main theme being a dull brown with white windows. The front of the building featured an old clockwork dial that showed the general time, pretty old school stuff, the front was situated already within the U shape with there being a small courtyard like area with a central garden with a large tree and some benches out front, multiple people travelling to and from the main entrance to go about their days. The building itself seems to serve more than a few purposes for the city.

Looking around he could already see that he had the attention of some schmuck in a black overcoat that was looking at him with silent contemplation. An STU detective…? No this isn’t Senate territory. Looks similar. Feels… Decently strong though. Only an A-class. The stranger in the trenchcoat started to approach him through the crowd, Jeremy giving a soft sigh as he made his way into the less crowded courtyard of the government building… He really wasn’t in the mood for dealing with people accusing him of being trouble right now. Once the guy got in earshot he didn’t hide his displeasure as he spoke up. “Look officer, I don’t want any trouble. I’m just here to get my citizenship form completed-”

“I think you’ve got the wrong guy. I’m not here to play 20 questions with you Jeremy Boom.” The stranger’s voice was gruff yet not unpleasant to hear. Now that he was closer his features were more visible, he was a dark skinned individual who had undergone heavy cybernetic modifications. Mostly to the cranium and upper jaw with the addition of his left eye. “A mutual friend has asked me to hand you this, asking that you keep it so he can get in touch.” He says as he hands Jeremy a top of the line cell phone. Which did immediately raise some flags for him, but this phone wasn’t something the Foundation would get. Nor was it Sylvester's style to use a middle man to send him crap like this. He was stumped, puzzled as to just who would have done this for him. Still.

“Uh. Thanks.” He doesn’t argue much with getting free stuff, so taking the phone he does tap away at it to see if it was some kind of bomb or if it was loaded with spyware or something… “When is this guy gonna get in touch?” He says as he peeks up to look at the cyborg but by the time he asked he had already made his way back into the crowd. “...Rude.” The phone’s screen darkened with it wringing, the name ‘Cao’ showing up over a hidden number. “Cao…?”

Now he was even more confused, but out of curiosity he pressed to accept it as he walked over to a nearby wall and leaned up against it, extending his Ki barrier around himself to make sure people couldn’t eavesdrop on him that well by using the rain hitting his barrier. “YNnnnnnnello?”

“Is that seriously how you answer a call?”

This voice… The unfamiliar accent. Jeremy was going to quip about how he could answer however he liked on HIS new phone but a flash of memory came to him as he looked at the phone. “Hold up, you’re that merc I beat up in Augustine!”

“Well done, would you like a medal to go with your new phone?” He replied with a mocking tone, liking to hear the confusion in the boy’s voice.

Jeremy just gave a half huff to this as he settled back against the wall. “The medal should go to you, I thought you died in our fight.”

“Hah! It will take more than a golden glow and some screaming to make me kick the bucket my friendly monkey. But I’m not here to talk to you about how I survived. I want to know how you survived getting the life sucked out of you by that… Thing. That man shaped creature that came out of you.”

Jeremy went silent, his demeanor soured as he was already trying to sense out for Cao as his teeth clenched. “How did you know about that?”

Cao’s response was rather immediate, sounding more astonished that Jeremy had no idea they were there. “How? I was there, you sent out a request under your little ghoul friend’s name to have someone get in contact with those Saiyan’s from Fairwood. I had found one… I was Even being forced by the one I found to come to you but your fight with that Foundation goon escalated so… Horrifyingly.”

Jeremy’s anger subsided as his anger grew wary, it looks like Cao took the job that he and… Kagome… That they had set up. So one of them saw Victor being born and got to see some really messed up tragedy huh… Yeah it's unlikely he’ll get to meet them now. “And here I wanted to learn about my heritage.. What happened to the one you were travelling with?”

“I don’t know, I was too busy keeping my distance. The very presence of that monster made me sick to my stomach… I make it a rule not to engage S-class by default. Which I had to ignore for your job… I assume she did the same as me, ran the hell away as soon as it was safe to move.”

“She? Ah… Seki..”

“Mmm. The energetic girl who’s too fast for her own good..” He says as he shudders at the thought of getting caught up and throttled in her strange pacing. “She was quite insistent on meeting you after I told her that you were a Saiyan. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that horror show sent her right back to Fairwood.”

Jeremy let out a groan as he slightly slumped against the concrete wall behind him, looking up into the rain that was hitting his barrier. He was rather looking forward to meeting the Saiyan’s and getting to experience what it was to be an actual saiyan. Though now… He definitely wouldn’t blame them from keeping their distance. “I don’t blame her… That whole thing was a mess.”

“Mmm… You’re far more intelligible than the last time we fought too if I must say. It’s nice to be able to hold a conversation without you screaming half the time. But what was that thing? And how come it fixed you up and absorbed that girl you had in your arms…?”

“... Look what do you want Cao? I’m trying to sign up for Citizenship right now.” Cao could practically hear the desperate anger in his voice. He could hear how badly he didn’t want to keep talking about this… And while he didn’t particularly like the guy. He was sympathetic, he had gone through such a horrid thing and came out of it with quite the trauma. Though he did see something that was even more surprising… Jeremy was saved by the ever elusive Reaper of Wabacha. Now it wasn’t unsurprising, the monster that came out of Jeremy was nightmarishly strong. But the fact that he stuck around as long as he did was what made him curious...

“I’d offer my help but it looks like you’re all set. That and you aren’t a senate citizen.”

“... You have Senate connections?”

“Whoever told you that? I’m merely insinuating that it would be easier. Senators are always looking for strong and capable fellows to do work with. Not really ones with sturdy moral compasses though.”

Jeremy wasn’t convinced but it wasn’t like he had any sort of moral high ground to use here. He ate and murdered people to get stronger, all under the behest of the real monster within him… He was used as nothing more than a cheap way to come back to life and gain new powers. “I’m not really in any rush to work for the Senate. Besides I’m pretty sure I’d be detained and experimented on before they consider giving me work…”

“Hmm. Very true. Well speaking of work, seeing as… You are going through a rough time with your ‘family’, I thought about throwing you some distractions. How about it? It’ll pay well and you could use some work to clear your head.”

“And I should trust you…?” Cao wasn’t mincing words, he even knew about his little fit in the wilderness… Just how much did this old geezer know. And why is he letting himself strung along like this. He’s just someone new trying to control him… No surprise there.

For a long moment, Cao was silent. Even as Jeremy searched for him with Ki he didn’t get very far thanks to being side tracked, lucky since Cao was watching Jeremy from the rooftop of a building across the busy street from him. His smug and superior attitude wilted as he looked into the tired and despairing eyes of a young man who now had ‘freedom’ from the madness he was so consumed by. He was… Sympathetic. If it was his family in this situation he would rather off himself than live with the knowledge that his family no longer existed, they are mere puppets on strings pretending to be them. “... You don’t have to trust me, but trust that I hate the creature that used you and yours. If it were me… I couldn’t do it. But you? You’re stronger than I… And you can still get stronger. So use my money, grow stronger from the jobs, use my money to learn about your enemy as it strings you along, learn any weaknesses it may have, and when you have what you need… Gut it.

Jeremy liked the sentiment behind his words, he could hear the smoldering anger of the old man in his voice. But he knew that it wasn’t that easy to kill a Vim beast, gutting something that had perfect control over life… It could regenerate from nothing but mere blood vessels and viscera. Nothing short of total existential erasure would work on Victor now… Something he had no way of attaining at his level.

“I… I’ll take some jobs. Why not. I want to get stronger anyways. And now that I haven’t got a way to talk to those Saiyan’s I’m pretty much going to have to go this alone and down an arm.”

The hesitation in Jeemy’s voice gave Cao more than enough information on just how crazy this beast might really be. Simpy gutting it and saving his family won’t work… How troublesome. “The arm… Are you sure you can’t get it regrown? I understand that there are healers in Zocom capable of regrowing lost limbs. I would recommend a prosthetic but I know how you fight.”

Mage did suggest that he get a prosthetic arm but he knew such a thing wouldn’t last too long. It would be an immediate target or his enemies to rip out and injure him. So he’s not a fan of that… Getting one regrown would be better… But taking a look to his now vacant shoulder he worried that Victor made sure one couldn’t grow there to punish him for his defiance. Rage only continued to bubble up as he could hear the condescending tone of his ‘old chum’ now in the back of his head, preaching about his precious food chain. “I’ll pass. I’ll be fine with just one arm and no stupid regeneration powers… I’ll just need to fight more carefully from now on.”

“No regeneration either… That is quite the downgrade. So you lost all your powers bar your saiyan skills?”

“Pretty much. All my DNA is warped out of shape, I can only use my Saiyan traits. I had Zoconian, Chilean and Ghoul DNA. Now I’m just Saiyan. Which is why being able to talk to the Saiyan’s would have been great… Oh.. Do you still want the pay for that job?”

“Mmm… Yes but I’m giving it back in full. You need the money far more than I, at present, to put that girl through school.”

“School… I… I-I shouldn’t.”

“What choice do you have? If she’s… Well. Connected… Then she’s feeding him information without her knowing. It isn’t like you have much choice in the matter… He may have been chased off by mage but if that beast can still grow stronger just by cheating his way through easy meals then I don’t know if this sector will stand much of a chance. And just short of offing ourselves or fleeing the sector before he makes his way back… We’re screwed.”

Jeremy knew that Victor was beaten by Himeirch the first time around, that's why he respawned through him… Victor is scared of Heimrich. Or at least scared of letting him grow… He’ll come back. But he didn’t think he'd ever be the one to destroy Victor. Not after Victor has had his chance to mess up his insides and warp him to such a state where his growth is now strictly linear. Set on a single path to power that can be easily predicted. He… No matter how much he desperately wants to… He can’t be the one. Not at present… “I doubt we’re screwed. We’ll likely have something else kill us all first, or someone/something unexpected will save us all.”

“Mm. Well I would rather hedge my bets on something I can tangibly see and deal with. And you. I can see. So I’m going to get your jobs that will be good for your skill set… Smashing stuff and blowing stuff up?”

“... Find me decent challenges. If I’m stuck having to deal with this situation I want punching bags that can take it…”

“G7 challenges… Scary but I think I can swing it. I’ll send a list to your phone when I’m done digging them up from my sparrows.” Cao was already flicking through jobs that his agents within Continental and other freelance agencies, even some Senate contracts thrown his way by his old Senator buddy, started to give him something to think about. “We’ll talk later on once I have the jobs. Good luck with your citizenship Mister Boom.”

The call ended with a scowled curl on Jeremy’s lip from that name… Boom was the surname of a fool he thought himself invincible. Who let himself get tricked and used… One that he was given jokingly by a scientist that was sweet on him. He wondered if she was like Kagome, his sister Cass… Like the millions Victor now holds in his disgusting grip. “Haaaah… Am I that hated by creation that a normal life is out of my control…?” He ran his hand down his face, looking up into the rain running down his barrier as it fell at his feet. “Normal might not have even been possible…” With a heavy, shaken, sigh he pockets his new phone and heads inside…

After almost an hour of waiting he gets to the meeting with a case worker who specialises in these sort of ‘special’ citizenship applications. In one of the office rooms at the top of the building, 15 floors up, Jeremy is now sitting in the idle of an mostly empty room with a desk to the end of the room by the window and a chair that he was now sitting in the middle of the room. In the room with him was a single woman, with some cybernetic augmentation, just in her left eye while she herself had flowing auburn hair that reached down her back, while she wore a stylish white and black suit. She circled around Jeremy as she went through the documentation and the chip he was given by Mage. “Well I don’t see anything wrong, your recommendation from Foli’s mayor and this chip of your basic TSA are really everything I needed to see. We’ve already done… A background check however.”

Jeremy sunk slightly in his chair, resting his one hand against his chin as he watched the woman encircle him. His many sins certainly would have gained him some ire… He had tried to play the hero and ended up doing a lot of damage to Augustine… Even if that place was ruled by Drake there were still innocent people there.

“Though there are some inconsistencies. Your body has no RC cells to create a Kagune, you possess no regeneration abilities. And your hair is totally white, unlike this gentleman who has a mixed hair colour. The only thing strange about you is that white eye of yours and that tail… Which makes you an offworlder. It looks like all the info we have on ‘Jeremy Boom’ is inaccurate besides a basic description… Anything to add?”

Jeremy looked up to his case worker as he gave a soft nod, better that he be known as an offworlder with nowhere to go than be associated with the foundation. “Well. That thing that calls itself Jeremy is clearly dangerous. But I’m just a brat who doesn’t know much about his past, I grew up drifting from place to place, I did what I had to survive, kicking the ass of vampires and whatnot to get by, I worked at the Orphanage on an internship and got enough money together to buy a property in Foli, after that I adopted my sister Cass and moved out there to get away from the city. And I lost my arm in a recent skirmish with a S-class monster that was chased off by some guy with a big hat.”

She had a sceptical look but all the information she had was either inaccurate or just straight wrong. There was far more to this situation than what he was letting on… But she had nothing great to pin him with. The only thing she knew for sure was the fact that he fought an S-class thanks to a report that came in yesterday. Thankfully that issue has already been chased off by a sighting of the ever elusive Black Mage. “... Okay mister Boom. I don’t see anything wrong. I'll approve your application for citizenship. All the necessary documentation to your address within 2-3 days.”

“That’s great! Oh, where do I need to go to get my last name changed?”

The case worker quirked her brow up as she peered down at the bleach haired man. “Thinking of getting a less eccentric last name huh?”

“Just thinking of my sister's future. Boom was a name I gave myself when I was doing freelance merc work. I was young and stupid.” He says as he once again leans into his one good arm, though he will admit that all this talking about a future that no longer exists is really eating away at his heart.

For the most part she could feel his sincere intentions, he was still something of a mystery and was hiding something…. But strong people like this aren’t something you usually come by, especially not ones that have a bleeding heart enough to accept the responsibilities of raising an orphan kid on their money. Though from his file he was living with someone who moved into the sector recently who now lived in Folli too. “That right…? Heh, well beside the fact it isn’t my department I think a second name you create yourself is what you make of it. Don’t be so eager to get rid of it, if you don’t like what it stands for now then make it stand for something else.”

“Make it…” Jeremy furrowed his brow before he looked up to the Case worker for a moment and gave that some thought. Just change what it stands for… Huh. It was pretty simple but it wasn’t like he couldn’t at least give it a try. A half smile appeared on his face as his eyes betrayed his truly tired emotional state, the type of tire that sleep won’t fix. He looked back towards the window as the rain had started to let up. “Hah. I may as well give that a try. Thanks.” Jeremy started to rise from his chair as the case worker handed him back his documentation. On the top of the pile was a small white card that caught his attention with the name Melissa Knight on it followed by an email address to message and a phone number to call.

The case worker picked it up before it could slide off the pile of papers and held it out to him as he put his documents away in his satchel. “Given your unique position as a monster smashing powerhouse and your lack of knowledge of our sector, please don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions. We don’t have many people with a decent moral compass within our postcode around here. Folks can always use someone to look upto, and I doubt your sister would have a hard time in School if her brother was a local hero, right?” She says with a soft smile.

Jeremy looked to the card and then lifted his gaze to meet the case workers… It felt like an excuse to keep tabs on him. And right now he didn’t want more people getting close to him that could be used for potential despair fuel. Though this was a moment of weakness, she at least spoke from a place of good will even if it was to gain some favour with him and potentially keep tabs on him. “Fine, Ms Knight. I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks again..” Jeremy started to leave, using the Ki equivelent of telekinesis to open the door in front of him as he held on to his satchel.

Heading down and out the building he started to think on how he should move forward. It was way too soon to even think that his life can become any sort of normal… Victor was puppeting the bodies of his loved ones and he will never be okay with that… The best he could do there was learn to block out that horrifying fact and act like it was alright. It will never be alright.

As he got out into the rain he created a Ki barrier around him once more as he started to make his slow way back home. Needing some extra time to think as he passed by the busy busy people as they go about their lives… All the while imagining what kind of afterlife awaited each of them. My only solace… Is that the real Cassidy is already passed on… I hope she isn’t too sad as she watched me from wherever she went. He thought to himself as he pushed on through the rain, looking up into the sky as it started to settle into a slightly cloudy but sunny blue sky… “I hope you have a better life when you get your chance to reincarnate kiddo. Your big brother won’t get to meet you the next time around…” While he looks up into the sky, barrier still in place… A single droplet of water lands on his cheek from nowhere somehow, through his shield. He even lightly flinched from the impact. He reached up to touch it, rubbing his finger and thumb together as he had a puzzled look… “How did…” He didn’t think about it much, it was an oddity. One that he will have in the back of his mind… All the while he felt alittle lighter as something wishes him the best as it departs the mortal world.

Tomorrow I'm gonna try and work on another post for Jeremy since I want to do a more combat oriented post.

Working up some enemies for Jeremy to fight won't be hard, he's used to fighting recklessly and now has to worry about every bad injury he can sustain if he's not careful. Hell A handful of G5's will be enough since Victor raised his power unnaturally, he's not used to wielding it.

I mean, there’s always our thread. There’s a ghoul house on Valai after all. There could be potential fights there.

While I'm thinking on it since the new Destiny season dropped. And I get immersed in more Fallen/Eliksni lore and cultural customs, that I started to wonder something in all my power crazed thinking.

Where do Guardian's and such rank on our chart of omnipotent bull? Since the Lightbearers and Wielders of Darkness amongst humanity lowball warp and subvert the rules of reality on fundamental levels instead of outright changing them like some entities do in the Destiny Universe. Would this make Lightbearers Cull level or would it be more of a challenge to estimate? Would they basically be what Primal Humans are since willpower equals power?

I'm not thinking of doing anything with it, we have enough on our collective plates to get through first since Synn has alot of stuff to do

I'm just curious about it since the Vex can accurate predict multiples futures, erase timelines, erase individuals from timelines and so on. Even being able to cross whole Universes, nevermind explore timelines within those Universes.

Where do Guardian's and such rank on our chart of omnipotent bull? Since the Lightbearers and Wielders of Darkness amongst humanity lowball warp and subvert the rules of reality on fundamental levels instead of outright changing them like some entities do in the Destiny Universe. A lot of Destiny's Lore and abilities to not jive with the laws of our universe, which makes it either impossible to implement and therefore not in the universe, or limited in scope. There is plenty of reality warping effects that current characters have shown, but they are not the full extent of rewriting reality that high level Primal beings are capable of.

Not to mention in the case of the Vex, TGC holds only one universe. There are storyteller Universes, but those are limited and constructed Universes that pale in comparison to the real thing. Even U4, which has beings far beyond the prime universe, does not contain the "entire" universe. Only the parts that have been altered.

I'd have to do a deep dive to see where Destiny Lore lies compared to gameplay.

I myself am not familiar with the lore at all, really. But at least from a gameplay perspective they would be a far cry from cull level. Basically everything Destiny would be low G's. Maybe lore would say otherwise? Cause lore would be the proper, accurate answer since that is the canon of how things are. Can't go strictly by gameplay cause "balance" is a thing

Wabacha wrote:Though his arm has grown shaky and moves sluggishly to catch the sword, the hand that catches it holds it in a death grip. A shortsword, heavy of blade, a copy of a Wabachan weapon. Isn't he thoughtful. No, the moment's loss of focus leads to death in the face of an opponent like this. He knows this very well. The Titan Salem just faced such a man.

Just after the handoff, the assassin begins his test of the current generation. Wuddy, shaken by the familiarity, barely raises his blade to divert something from his heart, something that punches a hole into his left shoulder with a burst of red blood. Sam in his heightened state feels the intent of something coming, and can already feel the cold steel prepared to pass through his throat at the same moment Wuddy reacts to the nonexistent thrust towards his heart. He must get his summoned weapon in between his vulnerable throat and this sensation before his throat is opened up like Ruincrest's.

Driven by pure instinct Sam has no time to worry over his ally getting yet another quite grievous injury from this assassin, not as every fiber of his being suddenly screams at him that something is about to slash his throat. Without a moments pause Sam pulls up his sword, held in his left hand, angled downward as his right hand is placed against the back of the blade for support and to guide the deflection of whatever he can somehow feel driving into his throat despite the lack of it actually happening yet. In the same motion that he does this Sam moves head/neck just enough to slightly inch it out of the way, making more space for him to move the sword for a deflection. Admittedly Sam's body reacted on such pure instinctual drive that he doesn't really even process what he's doing: He's just doing it.

His sword sparks against nothing, yet Sam feels a heavy weight force itself against his blade. A cold wind whispers deadly curses through its passing, but fails to find purchase in his throat thanks to his rapid reliance on his senses. But another strike is coming, giving him no time to recover his stance as he senses the desire to plunge deep under his ribcage. Voices and whispers, directing him to his right side. He can already feel the blade digging up into his liver, he has little time to react.

Wuddy fares no better, forced to leap into the air and land clumsily to avoid being hamstrung. And try as he might, he cannot grab the unseen blades, they never fail to slip through his commands. I see... Just like the tests.

The King's eyes grow calmer, just before his assailant blade slashes through them. But that is all they do. The winds pass by, and the King straightens as best as he can with his wounds. The vampire does not fail to notice this but makes no effort to attack him as Wuddy turns to his friend desperately warding off the unknown force trying to kill him. Wuddy only managed to pass the test due to his long years of training under the current Master Wabani's father, he was too consumed by the moment to realize what it was sooner. But Sam doesn't have the luxury of years of training. There is only one way Sam could walk out of this alive. "Sam-" His voice is scarcely a croak. "Stop fighting as though you can save me. I'm a dead man. There is nothing you can do to stop this." Wuddy raises his sword in one hand halfway to a frontal guard towards his killer. "So honor my last wish, alright? Use all of your hatred, every last scrap of it, and avenge me before my heart stops beating."

Well. I... I admit I didn't think I'd see him potentially kicking the bucket.

Had to happen sometime.
You can only meddle with the forces of Immensus for so long before someone or something comes along to kill you.

ZOCOM and Gavilain

I think John is just surprised that someone else’s character is dying than his this time around.

As a belated Saiyan Day, which was ooph March 18th, here's a day in the life of our resident full blooded not a clone Saiyan.

2:06 AM, Fairwood
After another sleepless night, Bey gives up on it and decides to get some solo training done before breakfast.

2:19 AM, Purira
After few warmup laps around the Puriran continent, Bey is about to call it there and begin proper training when he is rammed by an atmospheric Autumn Corporation drone with a shock probe attached to the front of it. The obnoxious laugh of the CEO played on repeat fades quickly after the Saiyan hurls it into deep space. Purira's skies are getting too crowded.

2:22 AM, Puriran Earth, London.
Man, London's eating sh*t.

2:23 AM, Puriran Earth, Venice
Is that a giant monster getting hit over the head by a robot with an anchor? You know what, no. Best just stay out of that one. Maybe the giant sea snake that's showing up. Could probably take care of that.

2:38 AM, Puriran Earth, Venice
Nope, can't take care of that one. How can a water worm take so many planet destroying blasts and still get angrier? Whatever, at least it hasn't hit him ye-

2:38 AM, Earthland
... Ow.

3:09 AM, Earthland
After a short power nap to sleep off the damage from being tail slapped into a mountain a sector away, Bey goes hunting for strong people in this Sector.

3:22 AM, Earthland
It's no use, the strongest people he can sense and find all get knocked out from a slap. He'll have to find somewhere else.

3:51 AM, Quinn
No.

4:06 AM, Blue Seas
No.

4:19 AM, Shinobi
No.

4:21 AM, Ocean between Sectors
Yes, but god damn it, Bey thinks to himself as he is plucked from the sky by a humanoid kaiju and tossed into an island.

5:03 AM, Island between Sectors
Well... He was definitely looking for a challenging fight. It took a lot longer than he expected, the creature was more resilient than he expected. Seemed like a female. Could talk too, which was odd for a monster. And irritating. It kept going on like "Master Ragnus this" and "Master Ragnus that" and "Spank me harder daddy Ragn-" you know what nevermind. At least he doubts he would ever see this "Ragnus" creature. And, he has a mountain of meat for Seki and himself to eat. Should last them for weeks.

5:12 AM, Ocean between Sectors
Damn it this thing is heavy. What the hell was she eating, rocks? You know what, probably was. Bey doesn't know what kaiju eat. But a massive serpentine shape in the water below him brings back very recent bad memories.

5:16 AM, Ocean between Sectors
Well, two things Bey learned today. Giant sea serpents can move and smell across large distances very quickly, and a kaiju's leg weighs much less than the rest of it. Because that's all he got away with. God damn sea snake.

5:54 AM, Fairwood
Delayed by the great weight of the kaiju leg and his own injuries, he almost forgets to start a bonfire to cook the giant drumstick before bandaging his fresh wounds. It's going to take ages for it to cook.

6:00 AM, Fairwood
"Rise and shine, it's training day."
"Ugh, every day is training day," A freshly disturbed Seki pulls her blanket over her face and tries to go back to sleep.
"And why is every day training day?"
The sigh he gets in return is muffled by the blanked before Seki pulls them back and sits up with a pout. "Because we're being hunted every day..."
Bey nods. "That's right. Now get dressed. Training begins in five minutes."
"Okay..."
"And after training we're having steak and pancakes."
Seki's face transformed from tired and glum to 100% motivated in .8 seconds flat. A new record, Bey muses and writes in his journal. Seki throws her pillow at his face in response.
"Stop taking notes of weird stuff!"
"Stop putting bricks in your pillows."
"Only when you stop first!"

8:00 AM, Fairwood
Training went well, as it usually does once Seki warms up. She has grown more aggressive in her tactics as she has gotten older. Old methods of throwing her off balance simply do not work, she is a natural at Saiyan fighting. Turning every change in a battle into an attack. She is however developing a weakness to grappling. Will have to work on that.

8:17 AM, Fairwood

Breakfast is served. The kaiju steaks turned out rich and juicy, if a bit chewy. Both Saiyans devoured 12 pounds of meat and 42 pancakes each before calling it quits. A new record, Bey jots in his journal. Seki throws a bone that cracks in two against his head. He pays it no mind. The cost of documented progress.

8:23 AM, Fairwood
The two Saiyans now go their separate ways for the day. Seki to continue trying to hunt down a Saiyan she had been lead to by an old cyborg ninja fellow, and Bey to Jacobson. There was shopping to be done. Both for food, which they need a lot of, and for bounties, for the money to buy said food.

8:29 AM, Jacobson
Hmm, now where to find pirates who don't learn their lesson. Oh, this stall has hand woven throw rugs. Bey scratches his chin as he looks over them. Could use one at the front door... His thoughts are interrupted by the distressed sounds of an elderly woman being robbed.
"Please, leave me be!" The old woman's voice trembles as she reaches for her purse with shaking hands, only to be pushed back by one of the robbers.
"Back off grandma, you can have it back, after we've stolen everything good inside!"
"You yellow curs!" She yells with a shrill voice. "Someone, help! Heeeelp! Oh thank you kind hero!" She yells as she sees Bey walking towards them and stand in between her and the thieves. "Please, they have stolen my-"
Bey looks at the thieves and points over his shoulder at the old lady. "So you guys going to kill her or what? Her screeching is getting on my nerves.
The old lady gasps. "Wh-wa-wha-wha-wh-wh-whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?"
"You serious?" Says the first thief.
"Yeah. If you don't I will. She's giving me tinnitus."
"H-how dare you, you uncouth rapscallian! You hooligan! You dirty monkey bra- aaaaaaaaaaaa..." The old lady disappears over the horizon after Bey gives her a kick.
The two thieves look at each other in surprise before laughing.
"Oh wow! Can't believe it! I don't think she's ever going to land! Ahahaha!"
"Hahaha, yeah! Good thing you did that stranger!"
Bey couldn't help but chuckle along with them. "Hah, yeah? Why's that?"
"Haha, well we already have bounties, so we didn't need the extra trouble of dealing with her!"

I'll finish his day in time, didn't want to lose that progress.

You get a like for very obvious reasons.

Also Autumn corp. Didn't think I'd see much of them again

I thought I'd do something to remember them, it is still in the Sector's lore after all.

Just watched a video where a 5 foot Gator legitimately judo throws some dude.
Guy came up behind it to probably sit on it and mess with its face as they do at shows like this, only for it to hop up and nimbly grab his arm above and behind it, give it a shake, then throw the guy over its shoulder and let go.

All I am thinking is who in the HELL is teaching judo to alligators!?

A turning point in Gator evolution. They will inherit the earth

Lake Placid: Martial Law

A group of friends go on vacation to a once popular tourist destination. While there they find hints of a massive predator living in the area. Undeterred they continue their camping trip, only to begin to be picked off one by one by a predator from prehistoric times! The government places total military lockdown over entire area preventing them from being able to leave as they struggle to escape the jaws of death pursuing them and...whats this, DOES THAT DINOSAUR KNOW JUDO?!

How many will survive? And how many will become prey? Find out this Summer!

I'd watch it. Even if it was just some guy in a remodelled 90's ninja turtles costume just knocking Teenagers about with flying kicks for 2 hours
