Set adrift after it's initial launch, one among the many probes launched by the Yluvoni drifts into the territory of the Empire of Eldith (Xotrayjan), carrying the same chemical message as the first probe. The probe would be easily detectable as an artificial structure, as the reflective solar sail does not resemble any natural structures.

New Kaon

It was the usual buzz of activity in the command center of the Decepticon Terran base. Megatron was in his frequented spot in the room that being a rather large throne like chair sitting before a inter galactic map on it showing both the galaxy where Cybertron called home and the milky way both areas that were highlighted on the map where comparably of similar size. What also was show were possible hide outs of the scattered Autobot forces that had fled after they lost the war for their homeworld.

"Yes, what is it Soundwave," Megatron said to his most loyal of supporters.

"Our workings in the east are under threat," the edited mess of different voices said.

"Can we keep them safe without overt intervention in the area," Megatron said sitting straighter in his chair.

"Negative," came the single reply.

"Then liquidate the assets there tell all mining crews to rig everything for destruction before they leave and, terminate the mines," Megatron said getting a nod in return from Soundwave.

destroying the mines set up in the once unstable country was as a way to ease production pressure here in the exculsion zone but since the mines in the Sagittarius arm where no longer working at a deficit the smaller mines where no longer need on this planet. So best to cut loses by making sure the lesser mines would never run again.

        "Big things have small beginnings."
        — Lawrence of ARABIA

Taba, EGYPT — Koenig peered up at the blazing hot sun, before looking back at the scolding hot buildings and roads of Taba. Despite being a pureblooded Leithanian, he blended in rather well with his attire, wearing clothes and such of the locals. Regardless, the heat was unbearable and he moved over to the shade of a nearby building whilst waiting for his friend.

Luzia then stepped out of one of the buildings, covered head-to-toe in garbs and fabric. Close in tow was the local they had come to talk with, a man named Mas'ud. As she walked up to Koenig, she spoke in a hushed tone, speaking in Leithanian. "He said he'll take us over the border for 500 dollars."

Koenig nodded, "That works, give him the money and tell the others to ready up, we'll leave at sunset." Luzia nodded, digging in her garbs to pull out a small wad of 500 dollars, handing it over to the guide. As she did, she spoke in Arabic to the man to somewhat explain the situation.

Once they were done conversing, the man went back to his building and Koenig and Luzia began to head back down the sidewalk, watching as the various beat up cars and all traversed the nearby roads. While it was obvious that they were Leithanian, what wasn't obvious to everyone was who exactly they were; Operatives from the Spezielle Aufklärungsgruppe (SAG), or Special Reconnaissance Group. And while Egypt was American territory, they weren't here to spy on some random Egyptians in the middle of nowhere. This was their stepping stone into Jordan, who unknowingly was being quietly observed by the Leithanian government from afar. Koenig's squad of 8 SAG operatives was simply a potential bigger operation in the future.

Luzia and Koenig then arrived at the apartment that was serving as their temporary hideout. Once inside, they removed the garbs to reveal the SAG desert "dazzle" uniforms underneath, covered in various shades of brown triangles over a tan background. As they went over to the living area, Tiedemann Rot, the squad's autorifleman, stood up. "How'd it go?"

"Went well, we've got a trip over the border, no questions asked," responded Luzia, again in her rather quiet voice, about on par for the Marksman. "This place is awful." She undid the clips on her ballistic vest, sliding it up and over her head before putting it down by her pack.

"You sure complain a lot for special operations." Urs Lowe, the squad's SSO (Squad Systems Operator), chimed in with his characteristic rough voice, a byproduct of his smoking habits. "Would've thought they beat that out of you people."

Luzia gave an insulted look as Koenig also took his kit off whilst speaking, "Lowe, you're SAG too you know. Just because you're an Outlander doesn't mean you're different."

      "Where's Cecyl?" Luzia looked around.

Lowe pointed his thumb back, "Where do you think? She's on her perch per usual."

Luzia shedded her jacket, and stepped out onto the balcony. Shortly thereafter Tiedemann looked over at Lowe and the two just bursted out laughing. Lowe spoke in between his laughs, "Can't believe she took me seriously, you saw the look on her face?" Tiedeman nodded as Koenig chuckled.

After Koenig collected himself, he began to address the elephant in the room, "In all seriousness we have..." He checked his watch, "5 hours starting from now. We'll be leaving at 2000 local and crossing the border. Guide's gonna have to go when we get across."

Everyone in the room remained silent at the grim realization. Nobody can be allowed to talk about their presence here. Which meant they'd have to take care of and dispose of the guide they had just hired. After a few seconds Tiedemann spoke up, "Do we have to?"

"I'll do it." Urs spoke up. Being the veteran of the group, along with Koenig, he was probably the least likely to have second thoughts or issues with killing an innocent person. "I've done it too many times to count, it's part of the job."

"Sir, I understand why but why can't we just trust him? In a few weeks it won't matter anyways."

"That's not toe point Rot. We have orders. No witnesses." Koenig sat down at the bar area of the apartment, "Besides, last thing we want is the Americans to know we were here. It could cause trouble back at home."

Luzia and Cecylia Nowak, the squad's Combat Life Saver, stepped in from the balcony. Unlike everyone else, Nowak was a Gerati rather than Leithanian, which wasn't particularly uncommon in Egypt, however still stood out to the dismay of the rest of the squad. Luzia spoke in her usual upbeat tone, "What're we talking about?"

Tiedemann was about to speak up, however was cut off by Urs, "Just some minor mission details, nothing to worry about."

Koenig stood up before speaking again, "Everyone get some rest, we'll be going at 2000 hours." He then stepped out, along with Luzia and Cecylia going to their room. Everyone else, including the rest of the squad, who was notified later, went about their day before getting some limited rest for the coming journey...

And I was looking forward to killing off his people. Shame.

Then again nothing is stopping me from treating the Tau as a enemy NPC.

A few days ago, a Scandinavian plane committed a lone, unprovoked attack against Unovian Taiwan. Reports indicate that the plane flew in your direction post bombing. To make a long story short, we would like to be able to try the individuals involved in this attack. "Demolisher give me an ET on finishing those charges," said Scrapper. Not too far away Demolisher a Constructicon was working on putting the finishing touches to the detcharges that were spread throughout the mines of Tauras. Due to growing hostile activity between the locals Megatron had decided that the mines be detonated to keep any Cybertronian tech no matter how civilian from getting into someone else's hands.

"Almost, there. Soundwave groundbridge to my location Tauras mines are going sky high in 10 nanoclicks," Demolisher said. Behind the two Constructicons the portal opened.

"Go! GO! GO," Demolisher said as he hit the detonator sending the blue fire of ignited energon swarming and clawing its way through the caves and out of the mountains leaving behind a mushroom cloud to fill the air.

Montgovia

Graz in Steiermark, The Montgovian Commonwealth
Today is a beautiful day in Graz in Steiermark. The breeze from high has come down from the mountains to gently blow spring away, and soon summer will set in. And then as the august days grow shorter, the Mountain Girlrs will die, the Edelweiß will wilt, and the Stars of the Alps will shine no more, left only in the memory of Montgovians. But in the streets of the Styrian capital, nobody thinks of such passing of time, only of the passing of the seasons, and fondly of the summer to come. Farmers have wheeled their produce into the city squares, and flowers are sold to lovers and hopeful admirers. In bouquets wrapped with traditional Montgovian Tessiner lace and small cantonal bows, roses from the Royal Gardens are taken through the city, wishes sent in the wind.

Marie Strasser makes her way down a white gravel path, and with every step the Schloss Eggenberg, in its resolute stature, grows smaller in view. Within it has met the Rachel Akerman & Marie von Najmajer Academy Society, one of Montgovia's premier literary, poetry, and journalism organizations. Just outside the gates, Strasser mounts her bicycle, and putting her books in the front basket. She begins to pedal, and through the cobblestone roads she flies eastbound. Down the Eggenberger Allée, she passes through the Hotel Area, its shiny office buildings the tallest in the city, home to the thriving Styrian bio-technology sector. Then direct into the Consulate, home to many cultural organizations and schools, and soon she has arrived to the Mur. Locking her bike into the rack, she walks to the river, her brown hair softly tossed over her shoulder. Approaching the guard rail, she takes out from her pocket twenty three Edelweiss flower petals. One for every year she has, she will welcome the summer by throwing the pressed flower petals into the Mur, and letting twenty three wishes out into the world. It is the traditions such as these, differing canton to canton, that measure the Montgovian year - the bittersweet adieu to spring on the Mur, and next shall come the annual lemon celebrations on Lac Léman, and then Solstice Week in Ticino, where the mountain towns on the River Ticino will turn off their lights for one week.

Marie Strasser has wished for good health, good luck in the next vacation lottery at her workplace, Anzeller & Ambelt Consulting Group, as well as a marriage proposal from her boyfriend of one week, and twenty other things of varying importance. But regardless of how these wishes go, she is for the most part happy. Her small country of only twenty-one million people has enjoyed peace and stability through an ever-changing world, as well as sustained prosperity. With free healthcare, education, child care and public recreation, Strasser feels her home country gives a safe and healthy life with a bright future for families. This weekend begins her vacation, and she will take the train to her Chalette in Wallis, her small summer cottage in the mountains. While the National Government is scheduled to meet in Graz for an important upcoming meeting, so has she chosen to escape the hustle and bustle. Perhaps next year she might vacation abroad - to somewhere tropical, or mediterranean, hopefully the Adriatic Coast if she can get a visa.

From: The Ministry for Foreign Affairs
Berggauerische Genossenschaft | The Montgovian Commonwealth | Montgovia

On behalf of the Montgovian People, my government would like cordially invite your government to establish primary permanent diplomatic representation to the Montgovian Commonwealth in our newly designated diplomatic capital of Vienna. As we begin to re-organize our national governance structure with regards to foreign representation, we ask that foreign representative missions that have not yet received an exemption from relocation plan to relocate within 365 days. Vienna enjoys a greater infrastructure, and as our eastern social and economic capital, there lies in Vienna greater opportunities for interaction with our civil society and business community. Additionally, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs has established its second office in Vienna.

Additionally, as German is a shared linguistic heritage of both our nations, we feel that it would not go amiss to inform your Ministry of Foreign Affairs that Montgovia's and the Montovian Commonwealth's original German names are Berggau, and Die Bergauerische Genossenschaft, respectively. We ask that your government transition to using this endonym when referring to our nation, as opposed to "Gemeinwesen der Schweiz", as this has never been the name we use to refer to Montgovia, nor is it an accurate representation of our nation. Additionally, our use of "Commonwealth" to refer to the Genossenschaft is the official translation. Translating our English translation "Commonwealth" back to German may yield inaccuracies, and "Genossenschaft" remains the one official and accepted reference to our state. Next year, our post office will no longer accept mail addressed to "Gemeinwesen der Schweiz", and our business community has been instructed to revise their standards to avoid fraud, whose definition will expand to include payments wired to "Gemeinwesen der Schweiz" but accepted in the Montgovian Commonwealth. Forms referring to "Gemeinwesen der Schweiz" will also cease to be accepted within one year in Montgovian official capacities, including customs and visa applications.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to my Ministry if there should arise any questions or concerns regarding either of these changes. The ministry also maintains a running list of reputable carbon-neutral transportation companies that may help in the relocation, and the Montgovian National Estate Trust is always ready to aid those with unique requisites searching for properties in Vienna and the surrounding area.

Sincerely,

Genevieve Dumas-Ferreitzigle

The Unified American Federation wrote:The Shield of Secrecy Broken

When the Meneldor breached the 1st Perimeter Boundary, The American Defense system went into absolute overdrive as Ships across the system began to rush towards the perimeter Breach. 3 Infinity class supercarriers, The Armstrong, Ouroboros, and Ragnarok, all began to deploy their 11 Stalwart class Frigate escorts which they housed within themselves.

On the Ark itself, a General alert was sounded as Civilians and Military personnel were being tasked with evacuating to their bunkers or a safe location as the Perimeter was breached. The President himself was present in New Columbia when he was briefed about the situation. As the ships approached the Meneldor, a general message was broadcasted to the large ship. "Unknown vessel, Identify yourself! You are in violation of the American Perimeter Defense network. Please Identify yourself or we will be forced to defend out home!" The voice over the communication stated. Though the ships were still a few hundred miles away in sight range, the Infinity class ships and Stalwart class frigates were equipped with weapons capable of attacking from such a distance.

On Mars, the scene was absolute chaos as Mothball fleets were ad hoc assembled with some ships deploying towards the Boreal ocean where a slipspace gate was soon activated by Martian Federal Forces to help aid in taking the American Martian Defense fleet and sending them to the Washington System. Though the trip normally took 2 weeks by Slipspace, it would only take 12 hours via the Martian Gate. It would only be online for an hour before needing to recharge over the course of an entire month...if all went smoothly which it sometimes often didn't with such an energy hungry device on such a large scale. With the slipspace portal opened, it was a bit hard to keep under wraps that something was going on with the American Federation. With a vast swath of their Solar defense fleets being redeployed through the portal to the Washington System, every other nation in the solar system would just see it as nothing more than an American withdrawl, though wherever the fleets went, the Government wasn't going to say as the location of the Washington System was never publicly shown on any Galactic map of the country.

There was no response.. though with the three Infinity class's taking 'hostile measures' the rest of the fleet was given the green light.
The Meneldor suddenly was not alone, a crescent shaped formation began to form, surrounding half the system.. at first it seemed like space itself was ripping apart but that light surrounded by darkness was replaced by ships, so many ships. In total there was about 650 ranging from dreadnoughts to frigates, all present all in an hour. and now all of them began to close in, moving further, though rather slowly as the crescent seemed to to expand, trying to form a circle around the Ark and by extension New Columbia.

Aboard the Throne room in the Meneldor, Emperor Tar-Ñaltanáre sat upon his throne, joined by his court, including his children, all seemingly ready for combat.
"My ships are beginning the encirclement as we speak. Though it'd be preferable if we could take care of their pitiful ships first. We have the numbers.", Tar-Caranor spoke, his arms crossed and his red hair flowing from his helm.
"I agree with my brother, if were to attack now we can have this entire system under our grip in days, we're losing valuable time.", Tar-Carniangodîr then added, pacing back and forth slowly as he held his helmet in one of his hands.

Standing close to the throne and observing was the third prince, Rîn.. and one of the only Prince's who was not a king, but a keeper of the tree Silpion. He admired his brothers.

Tar-Ñaltanáre smiled, he then gave a chuckle before speaking.
"Nonsense.. we are not here to invade, only show a glimpse of our strength. For now they will see us as aggressors, they will hate us but it will pass."

Rîn looked up at his father, his silver-hair shining as his head turned.
"But father.. they're.. Calcanos. They know nothing of peace."

Tar-Ñaltanáre then chuckled again.
"That's because they're not Calcanos.. they're Humans."

Everyone looked up confused
"What?!", they questioned.

Tar-Ñaltanáre then pressed a button on the arm of his throne.
"Bridge, open up communications."

Lord-Admiral Oialëon sitting in his seat in the bridge acknowledged his Emperor's orders and began to return to the American's hail, using real time translation software taken from another first contact.

ATTENTION AMERICANS, THIS IS LORD-ADMIRAL OIALËON OF THE MENELDOR, SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF HIS MOST HOLY IMPERIAL MAJESTY, TAR-ÑALTANÁRE. LET IT BE KNOWN WE COME IN PEACE AND HIS MOST HOLY IMPERIAL MAJESTY SEEKS CORRESPONDENCE WITH YOUR KING OR CHIEFTAIN.

A patrol ship within one of the frontier systems detects the probe and begins to come closer, firing at and attempting to disable its solar sail before pulling it in to one of its large hangars. A security team, technicians and scientists then begin to inspect it, all in proper protective gear as to not be infected by any potential pathogens or any chemical weapon releases. The security team specifically held flamethrower. For now they simply tried to access the probe
