The Guru wrote:"Where good will and deeds fail then the pen can fill in just as well and, currently we are doing just that. I have sent delegates into the nation between us in the hopes reuniting it as a member of the Confederacy, if not possible then portions will have to suffice. My hope is to not need a sword and, war to reunite the crumbling nation of China," Sheng said with confidence that whatever was to come the Confederacy could indeed help the ailing nation put itself back together.

Huỳnh looked down at the legs with understanding she had wondered why he had an odd smell to him, now she knew why. At least she knew why for him the rest she could only guess. Also, with the change she was reminded of something a friend had described in a session of D&D, although those had been more just the lower half a snake body rather than many snakes for legs. As she heard the Chancellor speak, she couldn't help but smile at her confidence and conviction to the idea she had in mind.

The Emperor leaned forward, he was like a giant, his massive frame stretched and staring towards Sheng.
"And you think the Chinese wouldn't fight back? It's been quite common for them to unite under great adversity or when others try to take them."
Emperor Constantine then leaned back, continuing to stare down upon Sheng.
"Of course... Russia doesn't want a united China, under you or anyone else.. but everything has a price. If this plan of yours were to come to fruition then you will receive my blessing in exchange for Manchuria, and...", Constantine then paused momentarily.

"Shanghai... and the territories around the Bohai Sea."

If you're open for diplomacy, go read some stuff about capitalism and its benefits rather than believing Marx's works are scripture. More ideas exist (and are good) than what one crazy radical said 150 years ago.

Except he's right and everyone else is wrong.

Xotrayjan wrote:"Very good.", Constantine said with a slight smile though it faded when he looked to Aleksandr. Aleksandr grew pale.. black veins seemed to be coming down from his eyes, forming on his cheeks and neck some faint and others more visible. He then slowly swayed his head as if dizzy.
Constantine looked... well, concerned before he himself stood up, picking up his brother and silently leaving the room with Kazimir... though they all returned after a few moments, Aleksandr looking mostly normal again, his pale skin remaining however. He returned to his seat, clenching his hands together tight as if he wanted to keep something in place.

Constantine cleared his throat, standing and looking to his guests.
"We will need to take time to prepare however... the men I send, I don't want them not knowing what they're doing. This time will be good for Recon and most of all training drills. I have a select group in mind to represent Russia in this strike.. those that will act as not just my fist but the fist of God. Da blagoslovit vas vsekh bog", Constantine then did the sign of the cross... the sign wasn't going to save anyone however.. when has God been in Russia after all.

"Anything else to discuss?", he then asked.

Blazkowicz looked at Aleks's veins as he almost moved down his arm before Sofiya caught him. "Sh-" She said to him simply as everyone watched them before returning.

"Of course. I'll need to assemble a task force as well with some of those who we know will get this mission accomplished." President Yagi said before thinking on the last question. "Well...one last thing is, once this is over, would it be best to consider that Russia and America are now on good terms after many years of frozen relations?" He asked as he extended his hand proudly to the Emperor.

Tasmania & New Zealand, Unovia
The Unovian Government sends an observational team to watch The Culture settle into the agreed upon area following seeing the Culture Starships. This observational team is the basis for a new company that has already been purchased by the Unovian Tech Company, The Zealandian Research Incorporated (ZRI), whose mission is to create 2 bases. With these bases, the Unovians and Culture will study the Flood and other related Research.

(Covertly.)
Mount Cargill - New Zealand.
The Culture vessels start to build a large antenna like device. Which turns out to be a holographic/cloaking field emitter.
Which prevents observations from overhead and surrounding sensor sweeps.
The Culture then starts to tunnel into the rocks of New Zealand and started to build a giant underground base using advanced technologies to make the base secure and viable.

(Not covertly)
The Alaskan flies down to near Earth orbit and Launches the components for a sea base off the Tasmanian Coast.
The Unovians can see the various modules fly through the skies like giant fire-balls before they crash into the sea. The Culture vessels then retrieve the modules and put them together rapidly forming the base. Which soon spreads over the southern ocean for some miles.

"Well...one last thing is, once this is over, would it be best to consider that Russia and America are now on good terms after many years of frozen relations?" He asked as he extended his hand proudly to the Emperor.

Aleksandr looked at Yagi's hand... the hand of a dirty socialist... the same kind of people that murdered his ancestor, Nicholas II... but he'd bite his tongue, for now at least. After all, he had no issue with the American people or the heroes they produced.. and this era they lived in, it was one of heroes.
"I suppose we could say that.".

Months Later...
It had been eventful for American spies in Russia. Rumors of a missing Grand Duke, the execution of nearly 50 nobles and other officials and the most surprising.. a possible duel between King Arthur of Britain and Emperor Constantine.. yet both still lived.

The operation would be masked under the Crossing of the Volga, 10 divisions crossed the great river and the Earth shook as they began reclamation... though a select 500 Russians pushed ahead via train, deep into the Empire.
And now they wait at camp with their American Comrades. It was the night before the raid on Berry and many waited around their campfires trying to remain warm in their overcoats and Ushankas.
Atop the hill in the camp there was a tent, rather on the large side and during the night many could swear they saw the silhouette of a giant near it.

At one of the campfires where soup was cooking the Russians spoke with their 'Spetsnaz' American comrades
A Russian soldier by the name Adam Chehkov , a conscript who reached the rank of Lieutenant began passing out bowls to his new American friends.
"Eh.. here go, eat, eat big man. Meat good for you.", he'd laugh before grabbing a bottle of Vodka from his satchel then sitting.

"Where is your translator?", asked one of the other soldiers, Private Orlov.
"No need, English is number 1 in camp.", Chehkov laughed.
Orlov couldn't help but smiling before looking up to the tent upon the hill.
"I hear the Emperor walks amongst us... but I am yet to see him. They say that is his tent but who knows, could be any lucky bugger.", Orlov then went on before getting the chills.
"Just to think.. any one of us could be the Emperor, I've never his face before."

"We are peasants! We can't be Emperor!", Chehkov interjected between his sips Vodka.

Orlov sighed,
"Let a man dream will you?"

"What should be concerned about is giant I keep hearing about, lurking in shadows but we never find, always disappear!.", Chehkov leaned in to warm his hands before looking to Blazkowicz.
"Big man, do you think it's monster or mech?", he then pointed to the Gundams,
"Another one of those eh?'

"Leave the American alone! I doubt he wants to hear your ramblings.", Orlov laughed.

"I fight for Russia 6 year, don't talk to me like I'm old man.", Chehkov reprimanded Orlov.

Meanwhile in the tent the Russian soldiers found so mysterious Constantine prepared for the fight ahead though it hardly time for it, servants strapped his armour to him as Aleksandr watched from his bed, dressed in robes and a hood covering most of his head.
"Why are you preparing so early?", Aleksandr asked quietly.
"We must be prepared for that snake.. we don't know if he knows we're coming for him and I intend to be prepared at a moments notice.", Constantine explained.
As the servants finished dressing his armour he turned to his brother before sitting on the bed, putting his hand on his brother's deformed claw-like hand.
"Just please.. get some sleep.. for me?".
Aleksandr looked down at his brother's hand before looking to his face and weakly raising his arm though he was stopped by Constantine.
"Alright.. I'll see you in the morning.", Aleksandr smiled before Constantine drew the curtain to his bed.

With a sigh Constanine sat on the ground, his sword on the carpet in front of him.. and he waited for the morning.

GIBRALTAR PROTOCOLS

HOUSE of COMMONS | WESTMINSTER PALACE
    LONDON, ENGLAND

| Earlier today, the Secretary of State for Defence established a debate on Government time in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords in an effort to have an open discussion from MPs and Lords over the Gibraltar Protocols, to set out the Governments position, and to gauge public opinion on the matter. In their current form, the Gibraltar Protocols are a set of non-binding resolutions designed to monitor and control the use of the Gibraltar Strait and therefore access to and from the Atlantic Ocean via the Mediterranean Sea.

| The Government's position is that the Protocols should be defined in the statute books as opposed to being mere guidelines, which would permanently and officially establish British control over the Strait itself. The move is not without precedent--with the dissolution of the international organisation of the United Nations, the United Kingdom continued to observe many of its resolutions well into the decades after the UNs disbanding, however, certain exceptions have been made, such as the establishment of British Naval Authority over the seas surrounding the British Isles far in excess of the old international waters regulations, such as the North Sea, English Channel, the Western Approaches and the GIUK Gap, though in the latter case it is more accurate to say the Iceland-United Kingdom Gap, excluding Greenland.

| Recognised Friendly States have enjoyed unfettered access through all of these locations with the bare minimum of interference from the Royal Navy. Government proposed legislation would continue this, these actions merely establishing de jure control as opposed to de facto control of said waters. Concerning the Gibraltar Strait, historically the United Kingdom has controlled access to and from the Atlantic, a precedent it has since reestablished. It is now up to Parliament to debate and vote on whether or not to approve the Government's plans.
