Hexal 2.5 million Megacycles ADU
Outskirts of Hexal

The garrison was in a state of ease they had for some time now been told a cycle ago about the build up of Autobot forces on the boarders of Hexal. They had of course been told Megacycles ago this build up was coming but, that was the problem. It was Megacycles ago, this meant that what had been a tense vigilance had slacked as cycles turned to Megacycles with nothing until just a few cycles ago. When the aforementioned build had happened.

"Sensors picking up anything out there," asked a vehicon.

"Nothing from the outposts or, the scouts," said Code Red.

"I don't like all this waiting we should have charged their positions the moment we saw the build," said R4ID(Raid) as he was once more checking his weapons.

"The moment we did that the Autobots would of started lobbing ordinances out at us or, filled the air with so much flack, no better to hunker down and wait for the blow," said Revit.

"Are we even sure it's a build up? What if the transports are being loaded up rather than unloading. I mean with how long it's been happening what if the Autobots are pulling back after the break out that happened in Vos and everything," said a seeker by the name of Nova storm his trin nodding helms in agreement.

(A trin of seekers is a group three seekers who share a spark bond this in two types siblings and friends. This bond gives a almost subconscious connection between the three individuals making a trin of seekers a very deadly and coordinated formation.)

"Not this again the Autobots are spineless but not stupid-," the Mech speaking didn't get to finish as the whine of artillery shells priced the air.

"Take cover," Bellowed Revit.

View ports slammed shut as bulkheads closed the windows and gun ports of the bunker complexes outside of Hexal. As the shells landed from Hexal came the defenders own response as lances of condensed energy lashed out in a attempt of lessening the bombardment via premature detonation by destruction of the shell. However even as the shells impacted and detonated some of the shells merely thudded into the ground before vents opened and a evergreen color gas seeped out. Those among the Decepticons who saw this gas seep out and start bellowing towards the bunkers felt their energon still in their cables. It was Tox-en, a form of energon that exhumed a gas that could within moments lead to paralysis and then death.

"Filters get filters on now," Code Red said at seeing the gas creep forward. However despite this out cry at the sight of the gas many a Decepticon quickly evacuated the bunkers and made for the city proper effectively leaving the outer defenses either completely unmanned or, diminished in personal.

Under City of Hexal
As the ground shook over head many of the underground inhabitants of the Under City wondered what could be happening up above. The Insecticons however became agitated at the artificial seismic activity. Much like pelting a bee hive with stones or digging up a ant nest the thousands underground where now quickly moving to the surface to make the noise stop. Among the agitated horde was Airachnid and the defacto leader of the Insecticons under Hexal Scorpia.

What they came up to from one of the under city exit/entrance tunnels. Was a running battle as both Autobots and Decepticons battled it out in the streets. At seeing for this particular hive was a ferociously hated foe attacking their allies many the horde let howling cries before effectively acting as a wrecking ball smashing into the left flank of the Autobot formations.

Limbs flew as Autobots where literally torn limb form limb energon pouring in rivers from their bodies as the horde shredded it's way through them. With Scorpia leading the charge with her pincers slicing mecha to pieces and tail delivering a volitial chemical mixture melting the inner working of those struck by it.

The city was quickly becoming a charnel house with the new addition on the Decepticons side who used the reprieve from the attack to reorganize and launch a attack with Seeker squadrons.

Between the bombing runs and straiffing fire from overhead; alongside the barbaric furfever of the Insecticons the Autobots found themselves taking heavy losses but maintained a fighting withdrawal out of the city.

The reason for the organized withdrawal was soon spotted as it was seen that Ultra Magnus the Autobots SIC was leading this operation against Hexal. Smelling energon in the water at seeing this VIP target Scorpia and a handful of her fellow Insecticons made for the mech intending to cut the chain of command off at the top.

When the two forces met Insecticon savagery proved little effect to the trained mecha around Ultra Magnus. It was still a bloody endeavor but not as one-sided as it had been during the first charge into the Autobot lines.

"This ends here monster," Ultra Magnus said.

"Indeed," Scorpia said before striking out with one of her pincers as Ultra Magnus sent a sword her way.

Retaliating in kind by sending her barded tail striking towards Ultra Magnus. Noticing the strike he wrenched the sword free and swung the blade to halt or cut off the stinger. A pained hiss escaping from clenched denta as the appendage was severed from her body. Using the remainder of her tail as a bludgeon Scorpia struck at his helm stunning her opponent.

Lashing out then with her pincers she grabbed onto the sword but jumped back as one of the shoulder cannons fired down at her. Regaining his senses after the strike Ultra Magnus started marching forward both cannons blazing.

"What's the matter bug can't deal with the heat," he said as he increased the fire rate of the cannons.

"No, just pulling you away from your guards. Eviscerate him," Scorpia said as he was now cut off from the force he had been leading.

They where on him like scraplets in a scrapyard. By the time he had fought his way out of the horde around him. Ultra Magnus had taken a number of wounds, dents and, dings.

Going for the kill Scorpia charged intent on not letting this prey escape the city. Her pincers finding his arm she pulled liberating the limb from its socket pulling cables and wires free. As two shot rang out both slamming into her collarbone and down into her chassis. Her optics flickering as a third and fourth burned deeper to her spark.

What was expected to be a disheartening strike to the enemies will instead drove the Insecticons on into a even greater rage at seeing Scorpias fall. Indeed even after they had been driven from the city many smaller portions of the greater horde doggedly pursued the Autobots all the way to their lines outside the city.

In the end the Autobot assault on Hexal was dubbed a failure in detail by those in High command. However cycles later Autobot rank and file would hear the truth as Decepticon hijacked radios transmitted across Cybertron the truth about battle; both the use of chemical weapons and decry the enemy victory as a grievous defeat thanks to the brave Mecha who defended the city.

The Codes of mandalorians can be split into three main codes the Cannons of Honor, the Resol'nare and the Supercommando Codex that dictates the way of life for the Mandalorian people. With an unknown number of off shoots from the three main codes of conduct. However, for brevity we shall focuse on the three.

The Cannons of Honor
The Canons of Honor were composed of no fewer than four simple facets of life: Strength, Honor, Loyalty, and Death. To a Mandalorian, strength was equated with life. The strong had the right to rule and conquer the weak. If an opponent fought back then they were not seen as weak, even if they could not defeat the Mandalorians; the act of defending oneself instead of capitulation was seen as giving one both spiritual strength and honor.

To the Mandalorian, honor was very important. Honor was gained by fighting, no matter the odds or situation. Once battle was engaged, victory brought honor. And while defeat was not desirable, even fighting and losing gave honor to the defeated for at least they acted and fought. It was considered more honorable to die fighting than to survive though dishonorable means.

Equally important to honor was loyalty to one's clan. A Mandalorian was required to fight not only for his Mand'alor, but also for his aliit. If one's actions did not bring honor to his clan, then they held no place for being a member of that clan, or a Mandalorian, and became what Mandalorians called dar'manda.

Death was another important part of the code. Everyone dies. But what mattered to the Mandalorian Warrior was how a person dies. Did they pass on with Strength and Honor, or some other way?

Strength is life, for the strong have the right to rule.
Honor is life, for with no honor one may as well be dead.
Loyalty is life, for without one's clan one has no purpose.
Death is life, one should die as they have lived.

Resol'nare
"You will raise your young as Mandalorians — and defend them. You will wear our armor, and speak our language. And you will serve the clan, and rally when called. These are the Resol'nare — the Six Actions — sacred to our movement. Do them — and you may live to call yourselves Mandalorians!"
— A Mandalorian Rally Master

In addition to the Code of Honor, Mandalore Cadden Blackthorne re-incorporated the Resol'nare into the facet of the Protectors. These Six Actions comprised the core tenets of being a Mandalorian:

    Wearing armor.
    Speaking the language.
    Defending yourself and your family.
    Raising your children as Mandalorians.
    Contributing to the clan's welfare.
When called upon by the Mand'alor, rallying to his cause.

As such, during Blackthorne's campaign to reunite the clans, anyone who wished to be considered Mandalorian had to abide by these guidelines and live these actions daily. Mandalorians that did not follow the Resol'nare were considered to be dar'manda — someone who was ignorant of their Mandalorian heritage. The status of dar'manda was widely feared within Mandalorian society due to the belief it meant they were soulless and had no place in the Manda, the Mandalorian afterlife.

Unlike the Mandalorian Wars, captured worlds were not forcibly inducted into Mandalorian culture, and were free to coexist with the Protectors. In instances such as this, the Mandalorians became a form of a local police force for these territories, protecting their investments from outside threats.

Young Mandalorian children were taught a rhyme to help them learn the tenets of the Resol'nare:

Ba'jur, beskar'gam,'Ara'nov, aliit,'Mando'a bal Mand'alor—'An vencuyan mhi. It is translated in Basic as:

Education and armor,'Self-defense, our tribe,'Our language, our leader—'All help us survive.

Supercommando Codex
The Supercommando Codex was a guideline for Mandalorian behavior, created by the Mandalorian soldier Jaster Mereel. A man of strong ethical principles, Mereel found that many Mandalorians of his era had become dissatisfied with the dishonorable and overly savage ways that had become prevalent among a number of the culture's warriors. Mereel chose to become a reformist, one who sought to restore honor to the clans and reinstitute the old warriors codesthat had been largely forgotten over time. To that end, Mereel revived and modernized the ancient Canons of Honor that the Mandalorian Crusaders and Neo-Crusaders had followed, creating a series of several hundred commandments governing moral Mandalorian behavior, which he entitled the Supercommando Codex. The Codex, like the Canons before it, drew heavily from the Resol'nare, the six central tenets of the Mandalorian culture. From the Codex, Mereel preached that any Mandalorians who wished to fight would no longer engage in the shameful activities of raiders and brigands. Instead, Mandalorian warriors were to conduct themselves as highly-paid soldiers and honorable mercenaries.

    WINDSOR, ENGLAND

| Within the halls of St George's chapel, the chosen personal place of worship of King Arthur and the burial place of many of his ancestors, the King stood alongside the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, as well as the Bishop of Durham, and the Grand Master of the Knights Confessor. Via hologram, he was in contact with the Prior and Grand Master of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, of whom most of its members switched their allegiance to Augustine I and their ranks reinforced by force-sensitive warriors of the Knights Confessor. The King had summoned them as part of a mission to infiltrate the Russian Empire, to do what needed to be done to remove his uncle, Konstantin II, from the Imperial Russian Throne. This was not a move he took lightly, but for the good of his family, for Russia, and the world, his Uncle had to be removed, one way or another. Either way, he knew someone he trusted, admired and respected would take his place.

| He gave them a rundown of what was going to happen, the route they would take to the Palace as well as the intricacies of how to defeat the Emperor, including a brief overview of the defeat he himself suffered at his uncle's hands. They knew their mission. They had not failed before nor did they intend to now. It was only a matter of time.
