(Note: it's super long and mainly done for plot and worldbuilding purposes. TL;DR Nabil wins some victories and is preparing to be crowned emperor.)
Nabil bin Kareem Al Bunbirti, November 1804
The Battles of Anise, Svit, and Kada

It had taken a week, for Nabil to ride from the mountainous rugged lands of Lemkovia to the coastal land of the Buzhan Khedivate, his Nizam Cavalry of the Guard in fast pusuit.

He was needed in the east, where peace's olive branches woulf be sawed off.

Serdar Randiyyah ibn Agha Al-Sawaji was with his Army of the Sunrise, of 20,000 men and 40 cannon. Stationed in the Buzhan Khedivate, a single day of marching away from Anise. It was ready to assemble in marching order as requested, men lingering about with their packs on and in a loose column.

As he waited Randiyyah had taken to drinking with his men by a nearby beach. The curly black locks of Randiyyah were whipping along with his free flowing silky kaftan. A beautiful robe of vibrant yellows, oranges and reds fashioned by the finest tailor in Pahran. As he turned to see Nabil approach, he cracked a brilliant smile from his beneah a thick mustache.

"Habibi!" He roared in a gravely deep voice as outsretch his arms to take the reins of Nabil's mount.

The brilliant white Qandari stallion was instantly soothed by the great horseman's hand on it's sleek concave skull.

"Aha yes, of course. Tell me though how is Fatimah? Is she well?," Randiyyah said, inquiring his brother-in-law, about the beautiful Fatimah bin Kareem Al Bunbirti.

"You shall see to her soon, when you return to her after we finish our duties here. I'm installing Serdar Soltani here, after we are done. Come, enough staring at the sea. You will have to do that later, best to keep your eyes sharp for tomorrow."

Randiyyah smiled and winked at Nabil.

"My eyes are fine, I promise. That of the eagle you take as your crest. I am to seal the trap eh? No riding into the middle of the fray. You wound me, Nabil. I desire true battle. You have me here prancing about with Buzan jesters," Randiyyah said.

"You shall have flat lands to whip about with tens of thousands of cavalry soon enough. I required you here, holding until I got here. You did," Nabil replied. "Now if we dally any further, we will not have a tributary state, so come for the sake of the republic."

The campaign of Vínfalov-Meyle, had begun a week prior, for as Nabil plotted a future campaign the allied Nizhkians and Ingerlish mounted an attack on the Republic of Vínfalov-Meyle. A sound move, seeking to cut off Nabil from a major tradehub and port, putting Dulwat Thania in jeopardy, and forcing battle closer to the Eyranistan heartland. The decision to attack in winter was made by the Nizhkians, who's hardiness in their bonechilling far eastern wastes was renowned. The Nizkhians were eager to deal atleast a wound against the upstart Nabil, who they had been dashed by in the previous Containment Coalition War. The land forces would invade with 30,000 men and 20 cannons under the Tsar's brother-in-law, General, Mikhail Chistyakov the voivode of Karya. The Ingerlish fleet under Lord-Admiral Conrad Burlington would link up with Admiral Sergei Bogatyryov.

The Nizhkians would force battle on land, and march for Anise as their Green Sea fleet would attack the reputable Vínfalov-Meylean fleet. The Ingerlish fleet would support the Nizhkians at sea, sending a force of 10 ships-of-line and 20 frigates and sloops-of-war.

The first engagement of the campaign was off the coast of Vínfalov-Meylean, near the village of Svit. The Nizhkian fleet, numbering 6 aging ships-of-the-line and 12 brigs, were steadily heading towards the Ingerlish fleet when they were set upon by the Vínfalov-Meyleans. The Nizhkians were broken within only an hour of battle, with three of their ships of the line sinking beneath the waves along with three brigs. One ship of the line was capture as were two brigs, but were in such poor condition they were run aground to be salvaged or scuttled.

The Vínfalov-Meyleans however in their victory soon found themselves imtercepted by the Ingerlish, who were far more formitable. Damaged from their previous action they fled towards the safety of Anise.

After crossing the border, the Nizhkians instantly faced a cat-and-mouse game with the Vínfalov-Meylean forces, who harassed them at every turn. Small engagements were fought, each time slipping away. The Nizkian army was slow and cumbersome as it marched through Vínfalov-Meyle, as columns became disjointed with the harassment and looting of villages.

Twice it was turned back from the two rivers west of the Anise, forced to ford frigid rivers. They arrived at Kada, looting it and setting half of the town on fire. Before setting camp to rest before the marched on Anise.

Nabil's army approached at dawn, as the dew still clung frozen to the grasses of the rolling pasture land. The wind whipped around them from the sea, carrying the smell of burning ships and gunsmoke. In the far off distance, the fleets engaged.

Not a single pot of coffee or tea has been poured when a blood-soaked cavalryman of the Nizhkians approached, screaming for help approached in the dim hours of dawn. Sentries could not stop him as he roared through camp screaming "Eyranis! They're here! Eyranis!". The camp became a chaotic mess as soldiers shambled to find their bearing, as frantic soldiers put on the grim dark greenish-grey coats, shakos, and white pants. Before even a single battalion had formed, shelling began and the nasheeds roared across from the pastures. With the sun at their backs, the Eyrani approached as cannonballs screamed overhead from cannons and mortars.

"Get in formation! Get in formation! Ge-" screamed a Nizhkian officer before a 12 lb cannonball hit him in the torso.

Panduks already began firing into the scattered and hastily forming lines and at artillerymen scrambling to load the Nizhkian cannons. The irregulars picked off more as the Eyranis began their approach.

Formed on Nabil's right flank, marched the creme-de-la-creme, of the new model army Nabil had instigated over his two-years of peace. The Nizam Infantry of thr Guard, grenadier and line infantry demi-brigade of well-trained men. They wore a black thick cotton thawb with a bisht pulled tight by white leather bandoliers belts. Atop their head they wore papakh, with a cockade to the side, and copper plate with symbols to their unit (eagles, snakes, scorpian, moon and star, etc). Each man sported a thick beard or mustache. At their hip, many carried sidearms of battleaxes, scimitars and yatagan.

In the center formed, regular nizam line infantry demi-brigades. They wore white turbans and black telpeks with cockades clasping feathers and plumes on the side of them They wore green sarouals and black shell jackets piped green and a white shirt with white bandoliers and belts. Their boots were knee length and long green gaiters overtop them.

Forming on Nabil's left flank were the visages of the revolution, demi-brigades of bidun-sirwal with their distinct scarlet keffiyehs. Ragtag mobs formed into military units, they had fought from streets of Pahran to the Meygerian basin in bloody battle after battle. Forming behind them were their more professional replacements, more professional nizam line infantry.

The armies met, the Nizhkians barely half-prepared. The exchange of volleys began and was mercilessly one sided as Nizhkians formed only to lose half their men within only a few volleys. Rather than face absolute destruction from range, some brigades opted to charge. Most never reached the Eyrani lines, and those that did met a wall of bayonets. The Eyrani pressed forth pressing the attack, as the Nabil's right flank charged cutting a bloody path with bayonets, yatagans and scimitars.

Colorful mamluk cavalry darted between the gaps and flanks of Nizkhian lines peppering them with carbines before darting in to slice apart the wavering Nizhkians. The scream of horses and sound of trampling hooves as the Nizhkians attempted to flank far to Nabil's left flank charging almost from the shore, being met by heavy sipahi cavalry lances and then a brutal countercharge by the Nizam Cavalry of the Guard with mamluks in support.

As the Nizhkian cavalry fled, the Nabil's cavalry realed around and smashed into the rear of the battered Nizhkian left. It soon completely shattered like glass as they were rode down. Mamluks and sipahi trampeled through the camp setting fires and cutting down fleeing Nizhkians.

As the left flank shattered, the Nizhkian right was fell upon with a third belligereant. The Vínfalov-Meylean army errupted from a neabry cherry orchard pouring a thousand rounds in their first volley into the sides of the already engaged Nizhkians. After a week of geurilla war, they turned to face the enemy. As cavalry began to whip around toward the rear and the Eyrani shattered the left snd center, the right flank collapsed. A complete rout had begun.

There was no call for retreat from the Nizhkian staff. Only the sight of them and what remnants they could lead fleeing west. Scattered across the fields of Kada for miles were the wounded and Nizhkian dead. Squadrons of mamluks darted across the countryside hunting down all they could. In total, half of the Nizhkians laid rotting on Vínfalov-Meylean soil. The remnants hobbled north to safety crossing the border with a quarter of what they marched in with.

The Ingerlish fleet and Vínfalov-Meylean fleets engaged around the bay like heavyweight boxers. The slow but powerful Ingerlish spun and roared forth with vicious brute force, layering lesser ships in heavy broadsides as the Vínfalov-Meylean danced, weaved, and bobbed and swung at the slow fat Ingerlish ships. It was still proving to be too much for the Vínfalov-Meyleans as the water ran awash in their blood and the debris of shattered ships. Their heavier ships-of-line, the pride of their fleet, were either beneath the waves, run aground and crew fleeing for their lives, or standing bravely toe-to-toe with the Ingerlish with splitters for masts and skeleton crews. The city watched in horror as gunsmoke filled the air for miles and ships burned along with their crews.

Randiyyah arrived to find the bay's guardian bastion forts, nearly annhilated. It's battery crews dead or wounded having been broadsided by the entire length of the Ingerlish fleet. Their guns silenced, the Ingerlish sent in a party of marines. A paltry force greeted Randiyyah from the battlements. When they saw the colors of the Eryanistan, they threw open the gates immediately as the two brigades assumed control and quickly got to work clearing rumbled and the meagre guns aside for something more substanial. A entire caravan of wagons approached with the brigades carrying fresh powder and shot.

120-lb "Gürlemek" cannons were rushed to the forward. In the chaos, none suspected this development until the cannons erupted and proved their name. A 120-lb ball smashed into the side of the Ingerlish third rate ship-of-line, Warchefter in her starboard side, splitting her mast and opening a 12-ft wide hole in her side. A second round hit the magazine of the second-rate Ingerlish, Lownhame, which promptly burst taking a rear admiral and all her hands with her in violent explosion. The batteries continued to fire. Loading the heavy cannonballs of their guns with vigour as Randiyyah roared orders to his men and jeered the far off ships with insults. Soon every gun in the fort was moved toward the duel in the harbour, as Randiyyah spied the other coastal battery along the other side of the bay, came back online with the flag of Eyranistan waving. Nabil sealed a trap for the Ingerlish.

Suddenly, the slaughter of the Vínfalov-Meylean navy, became a humiliating rout under the pressure brought by the shore. Soon the ship-of-line began turning around out of the bay. Frigates and sloops-of-war whirled and whipped about to cover the retreat, only to find themselves far behind. Their speed and size ensured they couldn't be easily hit by the 120 lbs cannons, but as they emerged out of the bay and drew to open sea, the last blow of Nabil came in the form of a fleet of Dawlat Thanian galleys and xebecs, the corsairs of Nabil's homeland. None would be spared if they were boarded.

The bay was awash drowned crews, flags, sails, and debris. Over a dozen ships ram aground and many burned for hours before they either sank or were obliterated as their magazine imploded. Fishing boats and rowboats darted throughout the remainder of the day fishing up survivors, the wounded, and captured. As the sun finally sank, the sky was filled with lightning and it began to pour sleet and hail through the night.

Within the span of a few days, the Nizhkians and Ingerlish had been disgraced for their failed attempt on Anise. Effectively reheightening the tensions between Nabil's Eyranistan Republic and the great powers on the continent.

Nabil's ssessment of the Klapkaszerda valley, was simple a simple enough system of gentle rolling foothills with several rocky outcroppings. The fief of one Count Gulássy, a minor noble still left of the Meygerian magnates.

But it was a gate, it's location was the gateway to his greatest enemies, the the deranged Wilhelmus III of the Holy Vedigothic Empire and Tsar Maksimilian Vladinov's Nizhkian Empire. This gateway was of course, still under the control of the Meygerians whom he dashed decisively at the Battle of Macskó, three years prior, propelled his popularity to his current position as "sole protector of the republic and the revolution" after the Coup of 1st Teşrin. Meygerians, once masters of the horse and scourge of the continent, had long since had their fangs dulled. Especially with Eyranistan having an entire army poised from just beyond the fortress of Bizsla, within a half a day's march from their capital. They were no true threat to the republic. But as his observers were aware, Meygeria's remaining army was split aswell between the eastern and western provinces.

In that narrow mountainous land of the Lemko Republic, Nabil's personal army was quartered for the upcoming campaign. 170,000 men, seperated into a newly formed and revolutionary kolordu system with 40 cannons each with 3 × 120-lb "Gürlemek" cannons aswell. A cavalry force of 30,000 was also among that number. The men hungered for battle, drilled constantly and who's morale was supplemented by parades, visits from Nabil and organized dueling tournaments.
Serdar Daou and Serdar Labib assummed command in Nabil's absense.

There were other armies as well, as the Eyrani levy system kept a constant flow of fresh blood for the battlefield.

In Eyranistan, there was something much more important to the matters directly of the Eyrani people and it's many diverse subjects . A referendum months in the planning, it echoed the spirits of the revolution as all citizens were asked for their approval or disapproval for a series of reforms of Nabil bin Kareem Al Bunbirti. The most dramatic, would have him ascend to the rank of Emperor of the Eyrani, establishing the Eyranistan Empire.

After such a victory in could any one man...say no? Especially as it was preached practically all across the republic of the literal embodiment of the revolution and it's protector destroyed the enemies of the revolution which such viciousness.

The tally would indicate that as the last of the ballot boxes returned to Pahran, as did Nabil bin Kareem Al Bunbirti at the head of his victorious Nizam Cavalry of the Guard. He had to plan his coronation after all.

Serdar Soltani, took control of the Army of the Sunrise and returned it to the Buzhan Khedivate. Parading through Anise as it did, and pulling back its force back to defensive forts in the Khedivate. A known despoiler and Serdar Soltani was already poise to plan a campaign of reprisal against the Nizhkians, he motioned the Vínfalov-Meylean Republic for support. (Winfallow)

He then wrote letters to the King of Krumpelberg, seemingly to open up relations or perhaps to test their resolve with onslaught so close to its borders. An odd missive was recieved by the Eyrani of apicots in colored ink, an investigation in necessary.(Trigori)

As the true war season neared, couriers began making their rounds to nations far and wide looking for diplomatic support. Eyranistan was no different and had many great and powerful enemies. Has riders surged across the land looking for mercenaries and the status of its neighbors.

It moves to study the court the southern HVE, in the regional areas known as "Monbalaur" and "Moncularia" steppes. It sends diplomats to establish contact to these states to study them and see where they shall stand in his upcoming campaign. It also sends diplomats to trek into the Spezian mountain range and establish contact with the Kvan.
