Nabilic RP - The Spezian League
Chanticleer/Chanicleer
(Even though it has been over two weeks this post is still kinda rushed, I will flesh out some details in smaller, coming posts. I just want to at least give a basic response)

The first diplomats to arrive in Spezia were the envoys sent by Nabil. Following the sacred principle of eternal hospitality to those coming in peace (as outlined in the Vurtghrizit, the primary holy book and honor codex of the K’vandari clans), they and those coming after them were greeted with open arms by the Sark’vanian court in the city of Ghrtobts'a, or “Hrodsk”, as the various Moncul Slavs and Vedigoths prefer to call it.

The K’van, having realized that cultural exchange is necessary to manifest Spezian interests, is generally open to diplomatic exchange with the Eyranistani Empire. The envoys were seated at a table located in Distmindrats' personal study room, where he wished to negotiate with them face-to-face, the K’vanenika and several of his close advisors . From there he intently listened to what news and demands they would bring from the west. After the envoys have finished, the K’van proceeded to offer them favorable trading relations for a beginning, along with direct military support against the Nyzhkians, if necessary.
This actually took some of his close advisors off-guard. Is it not the Eyranistani, who currently occupy and hold the western mountain ridges? Why should the Spezian tribes collaborate with them? And what is that talk over military assistance against the Nyzhkian Empire, Dsmindrats’ must be out of his mind to suggest that, even when choosing someone powerful like the Eyrastani Empire as an ally. Surely it must have been one of the K’vanenikas intrigues…

Before the advisors were even able to collect themselves and confront the K’van, news reached that another delegation from Vínfalov-Meyle (Winfallow) has reached the court as well. Distmindrats' Ghmert'anuri, being an open Vinfalophile, eagerly went out into the courtyard to welcome them in person. From there on out the Meylean envoys had to endure the K’van trying his very best to proudly recite at least 7 Vínfalovian poems and showing them his extensive collection of coastal artworks. At least they could safely assume that there would be nothing in the way to remain friendly diplomatic relations with the Spezian League. Even the K’vanenika Salokine, who at first observed the diplomats with timid scepticisms, immediately started to lighten up and cater the guest with the fullest extent that Spezian hospilitaty allows as soon as she and the K’van heard about the recent clashes with the Nyzhkians. As an end result, he orders that the deliveries of wine from the Southern Heartland and other Spezian goods to Vínfalov-Meyle are now a top priority, and furthermore offers another military alliance against the Nyzhkovites, again something the Sarkvanian advisors did not approve of.

Several days later another entourage arrived in Ghrtobts'a, strange riders wearing similar clothes to what many Spezians are already used to but speaking in a foreign tongue: Duriar, Al-Duristanis (Al-duristan). Sudič’inba Qtrabinuri was the first to recognize them as such. He used to be one of the hundreds of K’vandari who tried their luck in the army of the Shamkhal. Now as a respected one-eyed and nearly toothless veteran he is living his golden days back in the Spezian homeland. But there was something else. Not only did Sudič’inba recognize the strangers as Duristanis, but as representatives of the Shamkhal himself. With his help they finally managed to gain entry into the Sarkvanian court. The K’van was more than surprised to see many diplomats flock to him in the past couple of days, but then he remembered the Vínfalov-Meyleans tales about the Nyzhkovites pouring into their lands. He considered his suspicions to be confirmed when the Duristanis asked their question regarding the Spezian League’s position on another war against the Nyzhkovites. “So it’s true then” he murmured into his beard, “the Niškars are back at it again“. Without any hesitations he guaranteed Spezian aid to the Duristani Shamkhal if needed. This was the last straw for the advisors. What is the K’van doing, promising an alliance to any vagabond getting lost in his territories? The chief advisor was the first to confront him after the meeting with the Duristanis has been concluded. The K’van cited from Vurtghrizit before sending the advisors back onto the street: “He who hides the head away under his wifes skirt will be the first to lose it.”

Hmm yes I think that my brother, the governor of Florida will provide a fair and non biased judgement of one single state that can swing the election.

No Al Gore, please do not mention your role in your president’s extremely popular and successful administration. That would be silly and surely nobody would like that. Rebuke him instead.
