Worldvision Main Hall

The doors burst violently open, and the Sula delegation, led by a very drunk Éfil Iyuvos (Sula pop star), stumbles in.

An confused attendant steps forward cautiously: “Excuse me, sir, I don’t mean to be impolite, but, well, what are you doing here?”

Iyuvos: “For deh, uh, wassit, deh Worldo-visshun thing, y’know, like, songs n’ stuff…”

The attendant, visibly distressed, retrieves a tablet containing the registry: “Sir, May I have your name?”

Iyuvos looks up indignantly, surprised at not being recognized: “I-I’m the greatesht mu-music, uh, musician in Europe, Éfil Iyu-uvosh, obvioussleh…”

Attendant: “I’m sorry, sir, you don’t seem to have been registered.”

Iyuvos: “Whaddya mean registererert, I don’t have to do no registers-“ promptly vomits

The attendant, after calling for cleanup: “Yes, sir, all national delegations wishing to participate had to register, and very far in advance at that.”

Iyuvos: “Naw, yur lying, I know cuz like, last year, I didn’t have none of that registungering to do, no sir.”

Attendant: “Ah yes, you participated last year. We all remember that… Well, anyways, it’s always the government that registers for the musicians, and I believe your government had more pressing things to see to. I’m very sorry sir, but you can’t come in.”

Iyuvos, grabbing at the attendant’s collar but missing and holding onto his shoulder instead: “Now, yullisten here, d’yuh know how f-famous I am! Just lemmego in, I’ll, uh, like, buy you something, yeah, like, something real expensive, *hiccups* and I can go in, our little shecrert.”

Attendant: “Security!”

Iyuvos, this time succeeding in grabbing the collar: “Now lisshun t’me, if you don’t lemme in, I’ll, I’ll… aaahgh!” pulls back fist for a punch, but misses and spins onto the ground, is picked up by the security

Security guard: “Mr Iyuvos, we’re going to have to ask you to leave.”

Iyuvos: “You, you little-“ hand is put over his mouth and he’s dragged out, the delegation (which had remained strangely quiet) follows

The doors slam, and the attendant sits down and wipes his brow. Several onlookers hastily begin to post recordings.

What stereotypes do each of the provinces/states of your NS nation have?

Ok, so here we go. Mostly copied the names of the actual provinces and the stereotypes from Reddit, just changed a bit...

----

Ciudad Real de León (Capital): Conceited, entitled aristocrats and bureaucrats, corrupt, love to party.

León: Patriotic, heavy drinkers, good food and wine, agricultural capital.

Catalonia: Stubborn, hardworking, stingy, lots of drugs.

Basco: Separatist, outspoken, factories/highly industrial.

Andaluzia: Friendly, extroverted, lazy, just want to have fun.

Porto: Fishermen, friendly but quick to anger.

Mancha: Farmers, lots of windmills.

Lancastria (San lancaster): Reserved, untrusting, private. Mostly old people.

Tuscana: Cultured, snobby, love art and wine.

Larsai: Pirates, cannibalistic, sacrificial cults.

----

This Reddit comment about Valencia (where I lived for 3 years) made me LOL:
"Valencia is the kid Madrid and Catalonia made when they got drunk one night and hate-f**ked each other."

Ainland wrote:Hey everyone,

How wonderful it is to see the LDU continuing to thrive! It's great to see so many familiar nations and plenty new ones too.

As I've said since day one, and as was written in our first constitution, this is a democratic member-led region. It always has been, and always will be. To be clear, the political freedoms and civil liberties requirement wasn't my rule, but one agreed by members at the time. And which members are of course free to change.

Aside from insisting that this is a member-led, democratic region, I've always been clear about one other thing: this freedom, plurality and democracy is "underpinned by a commitment to open, fair, compassionate society within a market economy where all people enjoy equal protection of civil rights and political freedoms. Therefore, the Liberal Democratic Union explicitly condemns fascism, communism, and all forms of dictatorship."

I always wanted to be clear from that right from the start. I doubt anyone would confuse this for a communist or fascist region. But in the unlikely event of an attempted communist/fascist takeover, it's better to have been upfront!

Hope that gives some reassurance. You've all built a truly great region here. If there's anything I can do to help you in anyway, do feel free to let me know!

... "Highly condemns all form of dictatorship". Ummm, eh... have you, seen the majority of nations? Virtually every other person and their uncle is some kind of dictatorship or theocracy.

Anyway I suppose I have you to thank for this region. Been quite fun the past year, it's arguably the most free region I've seen so far. [Many regions used to just ban me for running a German country]

It's nice to meet you. I'm Das viertes kaiserreich, once an absolute monarchy, now a military Junta working to get a new Kaiser after the old one died. You can call me Wilhelm [actual name].

Nice to meet you! I'm glad you're enjoying it here.

I'm not worried about nations like that being here. The members have figured out how best to run the region, through the democratic process, and I think that's best.

It's more about the general ethos of the region. I'd be concerned if the region was subject to a total takeover by communists or fascists, for example. And underwent a full rebrand as a far left/right region, endorsing Hitler or Kim Jong-un or something like that!

The way people figure out how to run their nations in the game, who gets to be a member, stuff like that, it's for you guys to figure out. And you seem to be in a great place with it all.

Welcome back to the region. This region has always been a member led region and will be.As you have shown concern i assure you this region cannot be occupied or taken over by communists. And to be honest I don’t know why are you showing these concerns right after you came back when there was no such take over by communists and will never be.Everything done in this region was purely democratic.

Great to see you Chitral. No concerns at all from me! On the contrary, I had hoped to offer some reassurance on my role here.

Pleased to see the region doing so well :)

I believe Potenzia changes the year every 4 weeks, so roughly a year and four months.

(Er.. perhaps we could do it quicker after WW3 finishes?)

I’m very happy you are back online, it was a struggle to make our region safer without a founder. All the previous governments and the current one have really worked for keeping your region safe. We even implemented a new role for that. Now there is somewhat a moment of relief to see you back, so that we can look back at how we have survived while still remaining true to our founding principles.

No I don’t think it should go quicker and it also seems that WW3 is going to be a theme dominating our RP for the next year aswell. Not particularly fighting, more a sort of Coldwar 2nd version. As there are rising tensions everywhere, while in the Cold War it didn’t lead to an full out worldwar.

The Savraan state has leaked a document regarding the kingship of Olav XVIII the former king of Sjevre (1988-2003) and the father of the current king. These documents refer to an incident unknown to the common people, but it was a point of discussion in the royal family and political world for years. Incidentally, the incident also eventually led to the deposition of the king in favor of his eldest son Josev Aszrymop III.

What the document specifically tells us about the incident is not very clear.
We do know that it has something to do with aggression attacks as the document states: "His Majesty the King was troubled by his temper," Prime Minister Jakuv Kznista (former Prime Minister of the Green Party, 1999-2009) slammed into the face for wanting to change the succession law, women would be given the same rights as men.

The prime minister proposed this law, but the king apparently didn't take it well, punched the prime minister in the face. There would probably have been more such incidents.

At first glance, this leak seems to go against Sjevre's constitution, as Olav XVIII is still alive. But it is not allowed to leak conversations and behaviors of a reigning king. There's nothing in it about a living, abdicated king. "No person shall pass on personal words of the reigning Lord and King without asking the permission of the reigning lord. No person shall talk about the deeds of the reigning King without permission or consent"

Mine is the Nintendo Wii.

Current consoles - PS5

Of all time - Sega Mega Drive

Special mention for the Dreamcast. It was a brilliant console and massively underrated, which tragically resulted in the demise of Sega as a console maker.

But if I'm gonna pick my favourite? The 3ds. Nostalgic as hell for those days playing Pokemon on it.

Another idea I had for a RP was maybe picking a year from the past, creating a separate map (obviously keeping the 2030 map), but then RPing our histories of how our nation’s have evolved. This could also help us further establish our histories.

I think a medieval RP could be interesting, with no modern technology. And if said nation didn’t exist at the time we choose, we could create a nation that was there before and play through that (if that makes sense).

Well, some nations would disappear then.

According to some nations lore, there wasn't anything that resmembled them in the middle ages.
