Part 20: The Steeple in the Willow (Part 3)

People on the move flee as tensions rise on the Micalandian-Spokane border this week. Near the city of Gomel and other areas, numerous reports have trickled out of the region from cell phone footage and eyewitness testimony.

The hike in migration from the northern state of Micalandia continues to be stuck in civil crisis with many villages and townships struggling to gain the basic necessities of life.

This continues to the border region between Micalandia and Spokane and many have sought refuge in the southern state. Many northern areas of Spokane have reported a sharp increase of migrant activity, with many claiming their end destination is the refugee camps of Kathricore, which opened last year during the civil war and recently has changed policy to expedite refugees.

Many, however, are being viewed as economic migrants rather than true refugees, causing a build up on numerous border checkpoints and several arrests have been made of those illegally trying to cross.

It is currently unclear of the outcome, as numerous politicians on both sides have addressed concern.

That was another nation. Andusre never had that currency. I know there is some animosity with Andusre but this is not at all because of phobic behavior or having sketchy currencies.

New Trussia Holded an Election to the trussian citizens and to other people in the Lands End Discord.
It was a close vote between the monarchist, the socialist and republicans
With 0% of the votes
The Democrats were out.
With 15% of the votes
The Socialists were also out.
It was really close between the monarchist and the republicans,
but the winner with 45% is
The Republicans
The Monarchist came second with 40% of the votes
Its the End of the Monarchy and the start of a New Trussia. Its now going to be a Neutral Republic.
Farewell to the Empire which lasted 117 years.
The new President of Trussia is Edward Smith who was the leader of the Republicans Political Party

After the election million of people in Trussia have rioted and sayd the votes where rigged.
There have been multiple groups of people who wanted to take over Trussia and now Trussia is
at a Civil War!
New Trussia is split into 3 Parts who want to control New Trussia:
The Empire
The Repuplic
and the Federation
They all claim 1/3 of New Trussia.
The Empire is in the middle and has the most Factorys.
The Federation is in the west with the capital and has the largest military (85 Million)
and The Repuplic has the largest Air Force.
Scientists have guess this will take about 10 weeks until a side wins.

The LEvision song contest has returned, for the first time in 2022! Whilst previously this has been an In Character (IC event), this time it is purely regional fun, so all nations can enjoy the contest and get involved! Thank you to TESDAI for coming up with the initial concept for this competition, and organizing the first two LEvisions. For June 2022, it is being organised by Biggonian Megaist Empire, though with guidance and oversight by TESDAI. For this month, the theme is PRIDE.

The deadline for submission is Sunday the 19th of June, songs may be disqualified if they do not fit the theme.

The flag has been changed for pride month, which happens in June.

Personally, I'm happy with Emi's list. They may look incredibly restrictive, but there's a lot of recurring symbolism ultimately

Superstraight seems to be a term that some transphobic people seem to use to signal that they won’t date someone of the other gender if they are trans.

As Biggonia (and Emi) said, there’s been a lot of things taken into consideration here. There’s many, many groups and there’s many symbols that these groups use. Being tolerant of these groups which espouse hatred and bigotry only leads to them feeling as if they are welcome here, of which that attitude and those actions are not. We’re perfectly happy to have a conversation with them, we plan to do so and not just hair-trigger ban, but we are responsible for keeping our community we’ve built here safe from dangerous individuals (and people with these symbols most of the time are), so sometimes we’ll have to make the decision to do so.

As for why we put a pride flag behind the Bull on our regional flag, it’s because we wish to show that we stand in solidarity with human rights during Pride month (which is this month).

First of all, what the heck dude. Second of all, this is a transgender friendly region. I can count multiple people off the top of my head who are under the trans umbrella. Third of all, as a bisexual person, superstraight pride is not welcome during any month. LGBTQIA people love and support our trans brothers and sisters.
