Vote for me!

Vote For Me

This is why you should vote for me:
-If you are a puppet/non-main nation
-If you value the environment in real life, but in the game you don’t
-If you are authoritarian
-If you are capitalist
-If you don’t like the other 3
-If you
-If you like me better
-If you realize that this is a joke
-If you have any other reason to vote for me (though I think I’ve about covered it)
-If you found the line that says nothing useful
-If you think all the lines are useful
-If you think none of the lines are useful
-If your nation is not useful

Which kind of tree?
Vote for me!

I won't be corrupted for anything less than a red Japanese maple.

My house had a Japanese maple in the front.

Western continental divide

I can't vote, but may I still get a free tree?

This is the campaign week. At the end of the week, we will vote on who will be forest keeper presumably by poll.

Does anyone know who the Forestian ambassador to Haiku is?

Looks like Areulder is the ambassador to Haiku

Not the place! I hope that you are ok though!

Just a question, what were the criteria for being able to vote? I am able but I do not know how haha!

If I am remembering this correctly, you need to be a resident W.A. member (meaning you are a W.A. member with the bulk of their influence in Forest, which you do). There will be a campaigning period where the nominees will give info on what they plan to do, and you can ask them questions (which I 100% recommend. That's going to be my next post in fact). Then a poll will go up where you can cast your vote.

Edit:

These are mainly directed at Verdant Haven, but anyone (not just candidates) can jump in with opinions or answers.
1. Upon reading your dispatch, the first thing that jumped to mind was your third point. Granted, I've not been around for the bulk of your last term, but I held 4 ambassadorships which I resigned from in early August last year, due to my now past absence. I currently still "have" three of them (which I am more than happy to take back) and the one that was reassigned was only done so after the region in question started asking where the Forest ambassador was. How do you plan on making sure our embassies are not just filled on paper, but are filled in reality, to prevent future issues of the sort?

2. On the Forest Anniversary Event, where and how would this be hosted? Due to an active RMB, I worry it may seem hard to follow the festivities, due to posts potentially getting lost in everyday discussion.

3. To clarify on the amendment proposed in your second point, would the amendment change the obligation of the clause, making it optional, or propose a new system entirely?

Also, there goes my residency stat. NS++ has let me down.

Dear Errinundera,

we thank you for taking care of the Forest elections as always.

Best regards
Feladria

I think I can't vote but I'll accept a free tree! What're you giving me? :D

Can someone please explain to me why our region has the tag “multi-species”?????? Not to be species-ist or anything, but I do assume that we are all humans, correct? I am aware that there are quite a few trees, and we each have our national animals (although that doesn’t mean they naturally live in our countries, take medieval Europe), but we are all homocentric I believe.

Ok. If I win, everyone will get a free tree. 🌲 🌳🌴🎄

Nominations are closed for the Forest Keeper elections. The candidates are:

Chan island
Mowte
Raider Bele Levy Epies
Verdant Haven

Good luck to the candidates! :)

Please make it an evergreen conifer like a fir tree. That way I can use it as a Christmas Tree in December. :p

Verdant Haven wrote:Season 1 has 1832 Epic cards

Season 2 has 1681 Epic cards

Whoa! I assumed there might be 500+ cards in each season and I thought I’d try to collect them all. There’s no way I can collect that many cards! I give up. :p

Is it possible to view all the Epic cards? I’d like to see which ones are worth collecting without browsing other people’s collections or waiting for someone to be buying that card from the market.

Easiest questions: "Which of these were added to the game because of the work of Forest residents?" and "What is the name of Errinundera's WA nation?" at 86% and 91% correct answers respectively.

Hardest question: "What was the host software of Forest's original forum?" at 17% correct answers.

Most surprising question: A lot of our top scorers -- many of them former government officials -- didn't get the question "Which regions does Forest have treaties with?" correct, while most of those scoring lower in general did.

Octopus islands

Sometimes, I really miss that suppress button... The report button will have to do for now.

Middle Barael wrote:Not to be species-ist or anything, but I do assume that we are all humans, correct?

Quite a few Forest nations (including myself) have animal citizenship. Ask around and I'm sure you'll find many!
In Octopus Islands, cephalopods are given full citizenship. That is why our population just recently hit 6 billion, despite our landmass being on a few very small islands.
