Hes not wrong, if a living thing cant make more of his own, then do his existence really mean anything?

That Pallay is not one millions years old

Perhaps once in the evolutionary ladder, but right now, at least in humans, I don't think reproduction is a primary goal- for lack of a better word- of existence, and isn't necessary for someone's life to mean something. I guess lol.

I think he's reading 1984 and interpreting it the wrong way.

The end of times is closer each second that passes, and we will sleep eternally in the darkness of nonexistence.

I'd guess Brave New World tbh.

You say this, yet you'd be surprised how many people would tell you otherwise.
I work as contracted security in a casino establishment, most people there are there for and I quote "To hopefully make some money in a probably rigged game".
Not many are exactly like that, but the vast majority are a good mixes of degrees of the same general statement.
Though to no surprise this is why I prefer the older clients that come in cause they are there more to have fun and try their luck then to just make money.

That printing money causes inflation as that is the literal economic definition of inflation, yet everyone just skips ahead and overly simplifies the principle as "rising prices", despite the fact you don't rise a balloon when you fill it with more air, you inflate it.
Just like when you print and add more money into circulation you inflate the currency.

You can have a legacy without children. If you think reproduction is the whole meaning to your existence, that says something about you.

reproduction is not the meaning for my life, atleast not for me, im saying that reproduction is the meaning of the life of a whole group of organic creatures, even machines need to reproduct to stay being atleast something in this universe. Reproduction is not the main mission for a single organism.

Pallay wrote:Question of the Day: Do you prefer to go off the beaten path when you travel?

Depends on where I am.

Pallay wrote:Question of the Day: Do you prefer to go off the beaten path when you travel?

Sometimes it's fun. Other times, not so much, like that one time Google Maps made us go offroading on a sedan to save half an hour.

Pallay wrote:Question of the Day: Do you prefer to go off the beaten path when you travel?

If there's (other) tourists on the beaten path, hopefully. Otherwise, it just sorta depends on what one might find on or off the beaten path. I'm going to prefer an old town or a monastery on a hill to a 2 hour stroll through a cave regardless of whether or not it is the beaten path, because I am much more invested in old towns and monasteries than caves. Whether or not something is often frequented is kind of a secondary concern to me caring about the things on offer.
