In the arid foothills of Tehran, a car was driving. In the back, bound at the wrists was a bruised an bloody man with tattered purple robes and a swarthy complexion. Towards the front of the car were two men in camouflage clothes, ripped schemaghs, and rifles. The man in the back could not understand them, as they were speaking their own dialect of mountain Greek. They were driving around the streets to see Persian elites rounded up. The richest Persian landlords were the first against the wall. Fear had entered the man's mind.
After driving by the blood-frenzied Greek militias, the car had stopped. 'Where are we going? What are we doing?' he thought to himself, panic ensuing his spirit as the smell of fresh blood infected the fresh desert air. As he tried to poke his head out of the window of the car, a guard had met it with the butt stock of a rifle, before being dragged to a statue of Alexander the Great, where civilians, prisoners, and militiamen were hearing the surreal speech of a man dressed in black robes and donned a silver cross on his neck. The man had recognized him from some of the religious gatherings in Tehran.
'He has sold our nation to the interests of Makedon, he has allowed the unending waves of Hindu migrants to taint our nationhood. He has allowed Persia to lose it's land, he has driven us into a corner as a nation!' and a deafening roar of applause had followed, sounding like waves of an ocean.
He blacked out briefly before returning to consciousness once more. The man in the black robes was frowning triumphantly, looking down at the man in the robes. A burly Greek man in green camo and armor pulls out his sabre, the sun gleaming on the blade.
"Any last words, Shah?" asked the man in the black robes.
"You'll pay for this..." said the Shah wearily, before falling to the floor, everything fading to black.
The soldier took the Shah's head by the hair, displaying it for all to see, including the journalists.
"Let this serve as a warning. Treason shall no longer be tolerated!"
Alexandrios, 10pm
President Constantine announces the mobilization of Federal troops stationed in Persia, to suppress riots and keep the peace. In addition to the 20,000 at bases within the country, an additional 100,000 will be moved in the coming days. The main priority of peacekeeping forces is to protect critical infrastructure, and the facilities of corporations such as Kiitos International, and AAAC.

Election Results! – July 10th, 1952
- After a hard-fought election campaign, the Carsonist Party of China and Korea emerged victorious with a narrow majority of 302 seats of the 600 seats in the House of Representatives. The Grand National Party came in second winning 149 seats, trailing in 3rd was the United Progressive Party with 137 seats. Finally, the Royalists managed to cling on to 11 of their seats while Gravonist Leader Zhou Fohai continued to hold the only seat representing his party. Therefore General-Secretary Chen Yun of the CPCK was duly asked by Imperial Regent Duan to form a government, His first action as Prime Minister was to visit former Grand Marshal Zhang Xueliang, A man known throughout the world for leading a Coup d'état against the previous Carsonist regime. The details of their meeting are not known, but experts widely consider Chen's visit to Zhang as a means to ensure that the military would not attempt another coup before or after the upcoming referendum. Reporters and witnesses at the scene record that Chen seemed cheerful after his meeting with the former Grand Marshal, so it seems likely that an agreement of some kind was reached.
A Referendum on Carsonism – July 12th-13th, 1952
- As promised during the electoral campaign the duly elected government with their majority in the House of Representatives and the military's support in the House of Peers, a referendum on Carsonism was held. The referendum asked a single question "Do you support a transition from the current system of government to that of a Carsonist Republic?" The result was conclusive, 58% of voters indicated they supported the transition to a Carsonist Republic. After a mere three days as Prime Minister, Chen Yun became the State Chairman of the newly declared Soviet Republic of China and Korea in line with the recently promulgated constitution that had been drafted. The new chairman of the nation immediately went to the radio waves to address the people; He promised that while the political organs of government would be transformed immediately, the economic spheres would be gradually transitioned to a market economy within socialism. Chairman Chen further reiterated his pledge and commitment to freedom of religious practice so that nations faithful may be assured.
The new constitution changes every aspect of governance. The Imperial Parliament has been replaced with the National People's Congress (NPC) and the People's Political Consultative Conference (PPCC) and their respective Standing Committee's. The cabinet has been replaced with the State Council, and the Supreme Court has been replaced by the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate. It has been further released that in addition to State Chairman Chen Yun, Wang Ming has been named as Premier, Peng Shuzi as Foreign Minister, Pak Hon-yong as Interior Minister, Wu Tiecheng as Finance Minister, and acclaimed War Hero Chen Yi as Minister of Defence.
Rectifying Past Imperialism – July 23rd, 1952
- In acknowledging the errors of the past, it is essential to correct them for the future. It was announced today by the State Council that to hold dominion over Oman and Sanaga is blatant imperialism and a policy that cannot be pursued by a Carsonist government. Therefore the newly formed Soviet Socialist Republic of Oman and the Democratic People's Republic of Sanaga have been released as sovereign independent Carsonist allies. Castor Osendé Afana Has been elected general secretary of the Sanaga Carsonist Party (SCP) and President of Sanaga. Musallam bin Nufl has likewise been elected Chairman of the Carsonist Party of Oman (CPO) and Chairman of the Omani Council of Ministers. Of the 100,000 soldiers deployed in Sanaga half were withdrawn, with the remaining half staying to guard and protect the fledgeling Republic. Of the departing 50,000 half were deployed to Oman for similar protection while the remainder returned home.

- Premier Wang Ming went on his first trip abroad to Alexandrios the capital of the Federal Republic of Makedon where he reaffirmed the friendship and alliance between Makedon and the SRCK. Thousands of miles away at Willow Woods Chairman Chen met with Soviet President Grigori Monikov, and to the applause of the attending representatives signed the treaty entering the Soviet Republic of China and Korea into the Arcana Alliance, With the sponsorship of the SRCK, Sanaga and Oman were also entered into the alliance, This will undoubtedly mark a shift in worldwide geopolitics.

Comrades Once More!
Jubilant moods dominate all wings of the party today. As newly declared State Chairman of the proclaimed Soviet Republic of China and Korea Chen Yun met with President Grigori Monikov in Willow Woods, the former was greeted by droves of cheering Soviet citizens waving the flags of the Federation and the new Chinese banner. Words could not encapsulate the elation felt by devoted Carsonists not only in the Federation but around the world who have long yearned for the return of the revolution to China.
Local organizers took to forming an impromptu ceremony and festival representing renewed friendship between the Motherland and a seemingly long-lost friend. Dominated by the local student organization, the most striking moment of the festivities was the least cheerful of all. Dmitri Vorsikov, one of the de facto leaders of the procession, at noon, suddenly called for a period of silence in remembrance of all Chinese comrades who gave their lives in the struggle against the overthrow of the former Soviet Republic of Manchuria and Joseon in 1918. This same struggle was commemorated during the actual signing ceremony between the President and Chairman.
More on such homage, as President Monikov devoted a segment of his own speech to reflecting upon this tragic moment in history. Lamenting the oppression, exile, and even execution suffered by the hundreds of thousands in China at the hands of the imperialist-financed junta, the message dominating his delivery was simple: Never again. "Never again," the President would call, "may the heart of the proletariat be wounded so viciously... Never again may the cause of the revolution be stabbed in the back."
As celebrations resumed, even Internal Security Minister Ivan Serov was prompted to speak. The Spectre Director's words, while brief, resounded with thunderous applause. Calling for Carsonists around the world to be reinvigorated by this remarkable comeback for the revolution, Serov remarked that this shall only be the beginning of a wider return of Carsonism around the world, hearkening the coming of the World Revolution!

Show of support to the Spanish State
The time has come to not focus so inwardly on our internal problems and open up with teh world. The Iraqi Army will, in short order, send a number of military advisors to Spain to help their military improve and hopefully learn some tactics. Since this is the first time doing anything this massive there will be a lot weighing on these military advisors shoulders. The hopes and prayers of not just their families that they get home safely but of the Brass on a successful mission.

Colombia to join SATO?
Gran Colombia has announced today it will officially enter into talks for membership of the South Atlantic Treaty Organization. This announcement come off of the back of years of historic collaboration with the organization, as well as Gran Colombian participation in the recent SATO summit.
In an press conference the Colombian President, Marcos Perez Jimenez, said he thinks this is an "excellent option for Colombia in many ways". Acknowledging how important this decison is, Mr Jimenez said he is "confident" that it will provide benefits that will reach beyond just the armed forces.
The minister for defense also indicated that he was more then happy with more co-operation with SATO, praising previous military interactions with their forces.
The Colombian government seems optimistic that any talks will be smooth, and if there are no hitches membership is expected at some point in the next year or so.

The Coup of 1953
After the Shah Hassan I was violently overthrown in a coup, people around the Middle East and Asia have been waiting for a long delayed response from the Revolutionary government of the Persian State.
The coup was led by an ambitious Orthodox Pariarch, a Alexios Sinna, a Greek from the western borderlands. He had managed to convince the military to aid his cause, as the Shah had since been complacent and inconsiderate of their needs. People were poor, hungry, and desperate to end their suffering, and Alexios was the person most sensitive to their needs, helping many in his immediate community before traveling around the northern Greek portions of Persia to aid families in need.
With the Makedonian's decision to export it's Hindu population to Persia, it furthered ethnic tensions between the Persians and Greeks. The Persian population supported the Shah's rule, despite it being a majority Greek land he ruled, now overthrown by the Greek majority. After his ascension to Ecumenical Patriarch of Antioch, he began using his position of power to rally the people's hatred of the Persian minority government to install a Greek clergy ran by Greek officials, while the southern areas of Persia would be kept by force.
It is after the empowerment and support of the Persian military that the Shah's government had ended, and with it, a dynasty of Persians ruling over a Greek country.
A look at rural Iran
In the impenetrable mountain fortress that is Persia, the land is arid, hot, and unforgiving. If the sun-scorched rocks and heat do not kill travelers and foreigners, then dehydration will. Yet, the land is soaked with tradition and culture. Every mountain valley, regardless of it's status within this massive, coast-to-coast nation, is a little bit different. Yes, there exists a mutual hatred between the Greek North and the Persian south, but all can unite in their hatred of the Hindus, who have since settled in the eastern parcels of Persia. A farmer from Adrianopolis has allowed a local camera crew from Persepolis in his parcel of land.
"Hello, and welcome to my farm", says the famer in a strange dialect of Greek. He has a large subsistence farm in the northern coastal plains, seeing the Caspian Sea from the balcony of his small sandstone house, sun beating down on the land, giving the water a glistening effect. It would be a great spot for a vacation, if the stench of salt had been less prominent. He has been growing carrots, potatoes, and olives. He had explained that the borders between Persia and the Soviet Union are fairly loose, as many are poor enough to be bribed and look the other way, making olive smuggling to the southern SSR's quite profitable.
When the camera crew asks about the dark skinned men sitting in nearby sheds with barred doors, the farmer replies; "Oh them? They're just farming tools."
The Patriarch's speech, 8pm in Tehran
Trumpets have blared and men in military uniforms march in the Alexandiran Square, deep in Tehran. Crowds of peasants cheer as a man stop a truck followed by tanks waves at the crowd with a large smile on his bearded face.
He is saluted by 5 star generals and other prominent figures in the Orthodox Clergy, his black robes following his steps. He reaches the podium, a large marble column with a microphone. Waving his hands to calm the crowd, he begins to speak.
"I remember when we had congregated here once for a liturgy on a fine sunday morning, not so dissimilar to today. We would have stayed in our church, but the Shah had ordered the closing of the churches in the northern regions. I suppose God wanted us to go out and enjoy the weather."
The crowd chuckled a bit, and Seneca regained his form. "However, it was not I who overthrew the Shah, ended his bloody reign, and sent his servants to hell, but it was you! It was all of us acting on God's behalf, as I had foreseen in a vision, God came to me and told me; "In this sign, you shall conquer". It was He who had guided me, it was He who helped establish the Patriarchate of Antioch, the Perisan State, and the rise of a new Aryan nation."
"We must call ourselves 'Aryans', and unite the state under it's new name, Arya. We must look within, and for that I say; 'Arya comes First'. My first act as the coronated Ecumenical Patriarch of Arya shall be to use existing oil revenues within our borders to restore the quality of Persia's roads. The typical road in Persia is a glorified patch of dirt or gravel, and no advanced infrastructure exists. The Ecumenical Council has agreed to commission construction companies across Arya to bring better roads to our people."
A roar of applause from the crowd exhumes the square.
"And after that, we shall use our oil revenues to build irrigation canals across our desert regions, so that our children will not go to bed hungry and lethargic. With collective effort and divine guidance, we can achieve anything. We can achieve the New Persia!!!"
Roaring applause flooded the city again as the Patriarch had raised his arms with his generals and clergymen, cameras flashing and people dancing and cheering, and started chanting:
"Welcome to the New Persia".
