China has been watching the events unfolding in Japan and the Yi Empire with extreme concern. To its east, a rapidly militarising Empire of the Rising Sun with no doubt ambitions on mainland China. To its South, a collapsing state aided by members of terrorist organisations. China was not ready to face either of the two in a full-scale conflict that might erupt anytime in the future. The most it would do right now would be to set its armed forces on the borders of Manchuria and the South in Yunnan to medium alert and encourage any Chinese civilians still in either Yi or Japan to leave those respective countries. Overnight, the Manchurian Border DMZ is flooded by hundreds of thousands of troops and garrisons on the coast have been reinforced with extra manpower.

She's genetically engineered to be quite strong and agile and is an agent working for the Red Hand, a secret society of assassins in China. The magic stuff in IOC and in HSR doesn't play into this version of Jingliu.

Okay, good.

Speaking of HSR isn't 2.1 coming out, like, tomorrow?

New Yi Empire wrote:”I know, but she is a threat to world security. I even heard that she was the CEO of Arasaka. We have to do something. Yu Suko knows some intelligence agencies in Japan and you also have Japanese connections. Is there anything you can do?

"My only connection was through Riku and he's... dead now." Chung-Li begins to break down in tears again. "I'm sorry, but this whole incident with Australia and now Japan is making me quite sad. This is not the world that Riku would've died for..." She wipes excess tears off her face.

Fair enough.

China intensifies

A world where Jingliu takes control of China, declares herself Empress, restores the Empire of Great Ming, and goes absolutely mental with the country would be funny, wouldn't it?

Yianna hugs Chung-Li. “I’m also saddened by the loss. It seems like the Yi empire is collapsing. We need to win this war. We need to stay strong. Because if we lose, what they fought for will mean nothing.

I was thinking that Chung-Li could track her down and enlist her help to kill Keiko and free Japan.

That could be fun. Shanghai is most likely where she'd be found at the moment.

Chung-Li looks determined. "You're right, I need to pull myself together. It's time to end this war... but I'm going to need some help. I need the best secret agents from around the world to finish this task. First, we take care of Australia, and then we'll do something about 'Miss Dicktator' in Japan."

Total War

High General Yu Suko is given all diplomatic and military control in the army with Chung-Li appointed as her subordinate general. She plans to punish the Brancas with total war tactics. They plan on creating forest fires and are going to bomb notable Branca places of business and they commandeered almost all their ports. The Brancas are almost completely isolated. The Yi Marines are sent to get this military war done. Towards the east of Yi India. The Yis declare war on Afghanistan and Persia with the goal of ending the MANSAB regime once and for all. They plan on annexing the two countries and will stop at nothing to completely vanquish all enemies of the state in their quest for peace and stability in the region.

Yi seige on Tasmania

In a recent military development that has captured global attention, Tasmania, an island renowned for its natural beauty, has become the focal point of a conflict as the Yi faction launched a large-scale invasion involving 10,000 marines. The invasion, which lasted a grueling two weeks, culminated in the surrender of the island. The prolonged siege inflicted significant damage on Tasmania, with numerous buildings, infrastructure, and landmarks left in ruins.

The underlying cause of the invasion can be traced back to mounting tensions between the Yi faction and the Brancas. The conflict was instigated by a series of attacks by the Brancas on the Yi empire, which served as a catalyst for the invasion. The Yi forces, mobilizing their military might, sought to regain control and protect their territorial integrity.

The two-week-long confrontation witnessed fierce clashes between the invading Yi forces and the defenders of Tasmania. While the defenders displayed remarkable tenacity and courage, the overwhelming numerical superiority of the Yi faction ultimately tipped the scales in their favor, leading to the surrender of the island.

The toll on Tasmania's infrastructure and built environment was severe. The invasion resulted in extensive destruction, with numerous buildings, infrastructure, and landmarks bearing the brunt of the conflict. The scars left behind serve as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of armed conflicts.

Tragically, the loss of life during the invasion cannot be understated. Reports indicate that casualties were suffered on both sides, with an estimated 3,000 Yi individuals and 7,500 Brancas, including civilians and military personnel, losing their lives. Each life lost is a profound tragedy, leaving families and communities devastated.

As Tasmania grapples with the aftermath of the invasion, the focus now shifts towards rebuilding and recovery. Efforts in reconstruction and support for affected communities will be paramount in restoring normalcy and fostering resilience among the island's inhabitants. As the Tasmanian governor of the United Brancaland front surrenders. The Yi Empire promises to provide aid and assistance the moment the war is over. Because of his swift surrender, Keno Urio, governor of Tasmania will not face execution but wil however face up to 45 years in prison. The loss of Tasmania is terrible for the Brancas as it splits the multi island rebellion into two and gives the Yi Empire a crucial port if they want to invade Yi Zealand. Yi Australia are now begging the MANSAB government for help as the war is looking bleak for them

Captured

Ex-Empress Haruhi is sitting down on a swinging bench outside her countryside estate in Kyoto, enjoying the spring breeze and the smell of cherry blossoms cascading in the sunlight. Now in her mid 50s, life just seems to pass her by. She used to be someone of importance but that was long ago, now she had mostly kept to herself, having a personal assistant do all her shopping for her, including her meals. She would only have the best five star chefs in all of Japan prepare her meals fresh, food that would surely be fit for a queen or an empress in this case. She had entirely retired from politics, wanting to get away from all the noise of palace life. She knew her family name would die with her but she simply lacked the ability to have children, she was diagnosed with infertility at a young age. Riku was her one chance to provide an heir to the Japanese throne, even if he was the result of a top secret government research program. But now that Riku was dead, she was all Japan had left.

She spoke to herself. "My oh my, the world is getting worse it seems." She glances at a news article on her phone about the ongoing civil war within the Yi Empire. "You know, if I were in charge of Japan right now, I'd probably be taking advantage of the Yi's weakness and take back what is rightfully ours." She stands up and walks inside her abode. "But alas, that life is far behind me. Now, I sit here and waste away as my body slowly dies. Sounds exciting." She remarks sarcastically while cleaning a few dirty dishes.

Suddenly, she receives a knock on her door. "Kamoto, is that you? Kamoto, you can let yourself in. I'll be waiting by the table for my dinner." She hears no response. "Kamoto?" She slowly walks towards the door. She hears a set of heavy knocks on her door, followed by several men shouting in African. Haruhi falls back in surprise. "This is private property, leave my house at once!" She yells. The men seem unfazed by this and keep pounding on the door before it finally caves in and opens. Several armed men covered head-to-toe with tactical gear, and gas masks to hide their identity, rush into the room. "Oh my god, please don't hurt me!" Haruhi cries out in pain, covering her face in terror. The leader of the group speaks, "Empress, you will be coming along with us quickly now." He says in a thick East African accent. "No! Please!" Haruhi screams as the men pick her up forcefully, carrying her out to a black military vehicle. They stuff her inside the trunk before quickly driving off, fleeing the scene.

Shortly after, Haruhi's maid discovers her to be missing and files a missing person's report to the Japanese government. This causes much instability within Japan as people begin freaking out due to the former Empress's sudden and unusual disappearance. This along with the fact that she is the last member of the Imperial family still alive would leave the Japanese government no other choice but to start searching for her whereabouts. The Japanese government contacts the Yi government for assistance on this case as they believe she was taken outside of Japan, possibly by MANSAB agents.
