What's the best way to raise civil rights?
I want to get back to being Iron-Fist Socialist, but there are very few issues that are coming up allowing me to help bring up civil rights, is there any other way to improve that besides just waiting?

It’s just a waiting game for the right issues. I have a puppet that I try to run as Iron Fist Socialists and I experience the same problem since a lot of times lowering political freedoms also lowers civil rights. If I had to guess I’d say that’s one of the hardest classifications to maintain.

Haven't used YouTube for anything other than tutorials in 2 years. Too much censorship, too many ads. Despise the platform with a burning passion.
Never liked "YouTubers" either. Don't know that guy, or the Paul guys, or other ridiculous wannabe celebrities from a hole in the ground, apart from the occasional ludicrous news story.

Also does anyone else hate the "Government Size" thing??? Like I implemented devolution and don't really do anything that would be perceived as authoritarian, and have implemented liberal civil rights/political freedom policies yet it still is like socialism big government scary

I already sent my TLA-related submissions in, but here are some random fun facts about Thurston's culture along those same lines. Enjoy.
Flora: the Bougainvillea is the national flower of Thurston. It is the ultimate symbol of Thurston's lush climate, particularly in its relatively tropical east coast. Other nationally symbolic flora include Taro (due to its high agricultural value), Canna (due to its beautiful flowers and its importance as a food source), Lotus Flowers (due to their cultural importance in Non-Qaratai Diaspora cultures), Bamboo (due to its use as a construction material), Sugarcane (as a crop and food item), Rice (as a food item), Kudzu (as an aesthetic hallmark of Thurston's older cities and as a food source), and Monkey Puzzle trees (as the main conifer found in Thurston's forests).
Poem: 梔香飄來 is considered the most famous four-character poem in Thurston. It was written by Chow Wan Law in 1785: it roughly translates to 'The scent of sweet gardenias wafts towards me.'
Bird: the peacock is the country's national bird. It is the symbol of Thurston due to its rich plumage, symbolising the diversity and cultural heritage of the country.
Fish: the lionfish is the country's national fish, due to its importance in traditional Qaratai cuisine.
Arthropod: the country's national arthropod is the cicada, due to its omnipresent hissing sound during the summers on the east coast.
