Im sorry I forgot.

Lies, you didn't forget.

Given recent events (see "Regional Happenings" above), the following would be productive reading for everybody. Don't worry, it's short.

Ultimately, only Rock has the power to authorize this, but I vote "no," for what it's worth.

Hello everyone I know it has been a while... That's because unemployment kept me from being here the past five hundred something odd days. If anyone would catch me up to speed I would appreciate it.

Wow. Welcome back man!

I can't really think of much that you've missed on Nationstates though. We all check in occasionally to talk sports or movies or tv or the like. Nothing fancy. :-)

Post self-deleted by Cylea.

Actually, that's not completely true. The game mechanics have been upgraded--on your nation page you can now pull up various charts and graphs about your economy, etc. It may give you a reason to answer issues again because it makes the graphs move. Plus, some issues have easter eggs now; if you answer them a certain way, it unlocks new options like naming your capital or national religion. Check out Adazarn's page for an example of that.

Also, I resigned from the UN/World Assembly, leaving Rock87 with sole power to administer the region. Though, judging by the events of 4 days ago, he apparently still takes my recommendations seriously. ;-)

Oh wait should I not be in the WA?

You're welcome to remain in if it suits you. I just didn't want certain WA decisions impacting my nation and figured over a thousand days as regional delegate was enough.

ok i'll stay but i dont think i'll delve too deeply into the issues

Yea!!!!! I'm healthy!!!!!!!

is anybody into roleplay forums?

I haven't been for a very long time. Years at least. Why do you ask? Did you see one that looked good?

well i kinda started one about a sort of prequel to the last airbender if anyone was interested http://www.roleplaygateway.com/roleplay/the-first-benders/ if u wanted to take a look

Cool, have you seen the trailer for the last airbender legend of korra show?

Topic Change: NBC has "benched" Community, will probably be last season :(

no i haven't, gonna look it up now. and TC: yea i heard, that sux

Are there new rules on how long nations survive without being logged in? Must one answer issues now? I have no idea why Ferngully died; it certainly hasn't been 30 days.

I'm unaware of a rules update in that regard. It's been longer than 30 days since I answered issues for Cylea. Perhaps the Ferngully page was visited without an actual log-in occurring? I'm not sure what other explanations there are.

Also, benching Community further demonstrates a fundamental lack of justice in the world.

Yes, but did anyone really think it would last 6 seasons and a movie? :P Hopefully they will let them at least finish the season. Maybe there will be a spin off show of Troy and Abed in the Morning, that would be awesome.

^ Yes, please. I will outright forgo letting them finish the season if that were to somehow make a Troy and Abed in the Morning more likely.

Despite our small size, in terms of total nations (not helped by the recent re-demise of Brightside), we are in the top 3% of the world in terms of biggest population as a region.

Hurray longevity!

The nation of Cylea brings us false home. Even though IOLS is ranked 1,417 out of ~9,000 regions. All regions between #1 in population to #1,416 decrease in size proportionately based on how many nations are in the region (There are a lot of regions with less than 10 nations in them that have higher populations than IOLS :'( ). The other 97% of regions we are ranked ahead of are made up of 6 or less nations. The chancellor of Rock87 was hoping the statistic would hold up, but once the Galactic Empire sent a committee to investigate the data, the results turned out depressing. Our region isn't even the largest population out of regions with 7 nations.

Bastion gently reminds Konstantine that the rankings posted at the top of the Regional page each day are for different subjects. While IOLS is currently 1417th for highest police ratios, as of yesterday we were in the top 280 out of ~9000 regions for population.

The Republic concedes however that it did no checking on how many nations were in each of the regions in the world, so that criticism of its methods is appropriate. :-)

I Clicked on World -> Then clicked "9,075 regions" -> Then Clicked on "Population", which then lists IOLS as ranked ~1,475 in population compared to other regions. ("Lawyered")

And it didn't bother you that when you did that, every region was ranked by "number of nations in the region" rather than "total people in all nations in the region combined"? The rankings you pulled up have the first place region with 4418 nations in it, the second with 4297, the with third 4258, etc. By that measure, with only 7 nations, we are indeed in a multi-way tie for 1474th place.

The population ranking I'm referring to looked at the total number of people in our region. Somewhere north of 91 billion people. If Brightside were here, we would have shattered the 100 billion mark. It was THAT number that put us in the top 3% of the world. But I got that calculation from the daily rankings, which are not archived or posted on the World page.
