Ken Garumadon left Madrinpoor on the Mayor's private jet, with an entourage of bodyguards, aides, sympathetic councilmen, and a grumpy Foreign Minister Kim. They arrived in the Kingdom of the Indus later that afternoon, and met with Prime Minister Srivastav in private, before hosting a press conference where Ken complimented the Kingdom's neutrality and stressed Madrinpoor's steadfast commitment to peace.

In a time, such as this, when sensible nations have abandoned diplomacy and fallen to the cries of the war hawks, it is nice to see a nation embracing common sense. I, and the government of Madrinpoor, thank the Prime Minister, the Indusian Parliament, and the Indusian people for keeping their country out of the war, and we wish you the best of luck.

__________

The next day, the Madris arrived in Naissus, Oruzia, to have a public conference with Prime Minister Hamrovic and King Vid. Garumadon said that he did not believe in the war being Oruzia's fault, and more a group of Oruzians that Oruzia, as well as the rest of the world, have to control. He said that trade with Oruzia would remain open and that no tariffs would be placed (as of now), as well as calling for the rest of the world to remain on good terms with each other, and reopen Oruzian trade.

The international community shunning Oruzia won't help solve any of the problems that are now mounting in Europe, nor will a needless and surely bloody war. The solution is for Oruzia, and the rest of the world, to crack down on the Marxist terrorists and return to peace and cooperation with one another. Madrinpoor will remain open to citizens of all belligerent nations, as an example of peace.

He also took a moment to criticize Romanum et Britannia Minor's advocation of war.

Romanum et Britannia Minor, Imperator Augustus IV, and Prime Minister Sevso have added themselves to the list of nations abandoning sense and principals and subjecting themselves to dominance by warmongering politicians. We are appalled and upset by this development and strongly criticize Mr. Sevso and his government. It's foolish and dangerous for them to assume that they will emerge untouched by a war with two different power blocs — this will no doubt result in an awfully grisly war for their people, unless the two can come to their senses.

Then, Mayor Garumadon traveled to Sulasburg, and spent two days talking with President Macron and enjoying Démienne. He met with the co-CEO of Sula-Madri airlines in Sulasburg, and asked him to consider resuming flights to Oruzia and Lochak, and the other places where flights have been stopped. He expressed his personal friendship with President Macron, and Madrinpoor's close alliance with Sulasburg, but said they would not support Sulasburg in a war, and asked them to reconsider.

For a nation which once struggled with insurgents, who knows war all too well, it surprises me that Sulasburg has let rivalries trump practicality and sense. Madrinpoor cannot idly watch an ally abandon diplomacy, but I also cannot stress enough our friendship with [Sulasburg]. We urge the world to find a more peaceful and diplomatic solution to this mess.
