In-game Embassy Requests Policy

The Imperial Government considers embassies and consulates located on off-site forums to be the basis of official relations between regions. Any foreign region which wishes to open relations with The Land of Kings and Emperors should dispatch an emissary to register on our off-site forums and apply for diplomatic status. They will then be able to submit an application for an embassy or consulate as appropriate on our off-site forums in Hardenbrook Square.

A request for an in-game embassy is only granted if it is from region which meets at least one of the following criteria:

1. They enjoy an extant bilateral treaty with the LKE which contains mutually beneficial clauses beyond non-aggression; or
2. They have demonstrated a commitment to closer cooperation with the LKE, potentially leading to a future alliance; or
3. They have a substantial historical connection with the LKE (e.g. they were formerly a colony or close ally).

A region which has a suitable treaty with the LKE may submit an in-game embassy request and it will be granted. A region without a suitable treaty which believes it meets one of the other criteria should contact the Imperial Government before making a request.

Please note that not all regions which meet these criteria will have established an in-game embassy.
