A Summery of Ingrid Stormvind's life

Ingrid is tall blonde with green eyes, and from her war in Western Oritan gained a large burn scar across the left side of her face. She is a serious no funny business kind of person, and probably one the most badass women produced by Vandario in a long time.

Currently 50 her family are descendants of Nobility back in the day when Vandario still had Nobility, her mother died giving birth to her so her father had to raise her alone. She like her father a solider at heart even as a child, they jokingly say as soon as she could walk, she was practicing marching in the courtyard of their estate. Her family is very wealthy, owning a mansion and many properties across the empire, they being multi million perhaps billion airs. She grew up under her fathers watchful eye, and was admitted into early years of Vannish Youth Organization, which her father was among the founders of the Fascist party which started the VYO, though they weren't in power yet. Having founded VYO he of course wanted his child to be a part of it, she took to it well, and was full member as she was sent away to a boarding school (Her father only lived a few miles away, he visited often). She was very talented athlete and a straight A student, was very domineering as well, she took command where ever she went and had a nack for leadership, so with her and her fathers permission enrolled her in the Girls Academy which is YVO but for women who are going into military service. Where she was given full on military training as a kid like the others, at 14 she earned 1st place in a womens marksmen competition proving to be a hell of a crack shot with a rifle. Due to her ability she was quickly in charge of a squad of girls in her school who she was responsible for making sure they keep with their studies, preform well in school, and not misbehave.

Upon graduating a war broke out in Vandario's colonies in Iamowica. At age 20 now she signed up and was shipped off to war, where she picked up her fathers cigar smoking habit, and earned a rep for being a very effective leader, racking up kills and respect. Life was looking rather good for her, after the war she got a few medals, given higher station and even ended up competing in the International Games (This worlds version of the Olympics) earned a Silver medal in Skiing, Skiing being a well loved hobby of hers even today, until another conflict came about around when she was about 30. This one taking place in Western Oritan and this war would change her. The war was brutal, and terrible, the last was more clear cut, crush some rebels, that where raising a stink, the locals didn't care for them either, so it worked out. This one was far more messy. Here she earned a rep for being ruthless and cold, the war hardened her far more. In the name of war she killed entire villages of people as it was impossible to tell friend or foe, she watched good men under her command die terrible deaths, one enemy general who she made a personal vendetta with, would send her the heads of her men who he'd capture, torture and kill. Some footage exists of these times of her, such as one where she took a flamethrower to a tunnel and burned dozen men alive. Finally she did get her rival, and when she did its claimed she made it very slow for him, before finally decapitating him herself with a machete and dropping his head on the desk of her commanding officer. It became very apparent she became far more brutal and ruthless as the years went on in war until it was finally over. They said her eyes never looked the same, as they always looked like they where empty and cold. Only a few years of peace time a small rebellion broke out in a ally nation, she was sent with some men to put it down and be done with it. Which she did, but her tactics violated rules of honor in Vandario. She had called for an air strike on a hospital still in use, because the rebels where using it to stash weapons, ammo, and other vital stuff for their war effort. The pilots refused, so she armed up herself and her men, and personally led them to it, slaughtering rebels on the way, until reaching the hospital, which she proceeded to set ablaze, with civilians and wounded inside, few made it out. When asked what she was thinking her reply was "The place was a Communist strong hold, I was thinking of killing them, and destroying it. Civilian casualties are unfortunate but they happen, I'm not here to play nurse maid to them, I'm here to put down rebels and win a war, I did just that". Due to diplomatic pressure she was exiled from Vandario, and so she took herself, her men loyal to her and what equipment she could, and set out in the world, starting the Vannish Mafia, which like war she lead with brutal efficiency. Many legends about her form during this time of her exploits, people she met and things she did, though many hazy and unconfirmed. Eventually after over a decade of being exiled the nation underwent a change of government, and chose to lift her exile, even then chose to make her Head of Military, as she is a brilliant strategist, and not for a second ever stopped loving her country. As well her father was a founding member of the Fascist Party back in the day, which now is in power. She held her fathers seat after he passed away, and her son held it while she was in exile (She had a son years ago, the man is little known about other then he was a heavy chain smoker and died of cancer years ago). With her return she has taken back her place, her power, and now with her position of government and her mafia which she uses to help benefit the nation she loves. Vandario is planning for a World War soon as tensions rise with the other world Super Power, and things are heating up, many feel war will soon break out, and The Party feels Ingrid is the woman for the job, she has shown to be ruthless, but she gets the job done without question, and is possibly the best person for this position.
