Back in 2008, Equilism held an interregional competition known as the ‘Ocean Race’,
an event in which nations competed to sail across the NS world and be the top of the list!
Today, the Equilism Township is excited to declare we are holding our first successor to this tournament;
the Equilism Great Race of 2016!

In addition to our protectorate, Warzone Europe,
we’ve also extended formal invitations to Europeia and the West Pacific! However, we welcome any others who wish to join us!
It’s our hope to foster the bonds of friendship and interregional cooperation among us all.
What better way to do that than with a little friendly competition?

Are You Ready For a Marathon?

The Equilism Great Race of 2016 is set to be a 10-day run, beginning on 19 April!
It’s going to be split into two stages, the first 7 days, and the second 3 days.

The goal of the first stage is point accumulations.
Each day, contestants must move a puppet nation into a target region to earn points.

Points will be scaled based on the number of contestants,
and awarded to those in the top spots of the region’s daily census.

For example, if there are 20 contestants, the top contestant on Day 1 will receive 20 points!
The second will receive 19 points, the third 18 points, and so on.
The contestant with the most points at the end of the first week will be considered the winner of Stage 1
and will receive a special award!

All contestants then move on to Stage 2, an elimination round.
On Day 8, only the top ten in the target region’s daily census will be allowed to continue!
Then on Day 9, only the top five in the daily census will be allowed to proceed to the final target!
The top contestant in the target region’s daily census on Day 10 is the ultimate victor!
