The Local Cluster: Embassy Policy

Welcome, fellow traveler, to The Local Cluster! The Local Cluster (also known as "TLC") is a a region meant "[to] provide a stable and (relatively speaking) secure, gameside pool for accounts of Future Technology roleplayers and potential roleplayers whom feel uncomfortable within other, more sub-community specific regions or whom otherwise do not desire to settle themselves into a community which places upon them an undue burden of codified principles, rules, or regulations beyond that of" collaboration, compromise, creativity, and consistency - otherwise known as the basic, fundamental principles found within the Future Technology community.[1][2]

Even so, a part of the backbone of this project and in a desire to bring forth its continued success, The Local Cluster places particularly emphasis upon inter-regional, community and sub-community networking; while it is true that Future Technology has never placed particularly emphasis upon "regions" or "regional gameplay," in accordance with the mission of The Local Cluster, networking with regions assists in providing members of TLC access to different aspects of the Future Technology community and the NationStates roleplaying community as a whole.

Due to its continued growth and, in part, due to its featured status, TLC continues to receive new requests for embassies each day.[3] Therefore, in order to codify a policy determining how and why an embassy can be (or is) accepted or rejected, The Local Cluster Administrator has taken the step to publish and make known the general criteria upon which judgment of embassy requests are made.

If you are a Founder, Executive Delegate, recruitment officer, or a general member of your region's inter-regional affairs staff, please review the policy contained herein before requesting an embassy with The Local Cluster. If you have any questions, feel free to send them to The Local Cluster Administrator.
