An Overview of The Beach

I am TheStonedSurfers and the founder and progenitor of this region. This region was founded on a whim years ago in order to fulfill a desire I had to open a region where people could live and relax without having to worry about all the hubbub and tomfoolery of gameplay. Yes, that's right we are not raiders, we are not defenders, we are a neutral region trying to live in peace and harmony.

I don't care if you're an evil empire or a communist stronghold. I don't mind if you're a peace-loving hippie nation, full of colorful ponies, sparkly vampires, or any other label. I don't care about your religious or political views are. I don't care about anything other than you having a place to call home here on NationStates. This region is open to everyone. Because of this open-door policy towards everyone, The Beach will not tolerate hate speech of any kind against anyone. Hate Speech is an insta-ban from the region. It will also be reported to NS itself for further action. Thank you for being kind to everyone in advance!

The region operates on the premise that it is a beach resort. That's our shtick and we're shticking to it. So, kick off your shoes, plant your toes in the sand, grab a surfboard and shred some waves, or any other relaxing beach activity you can think of. That's what we're here for.

Now, there are two rules I expect everyone here to follow: 1) Be awesome to each other, and 2) have fun. If you can't follow these rules, well, then we'll have to send Leivan to remove all cookies from your possession. And he's quick about it, just so you know. Also, don't spam the RMB with regional advertisements. I hate that with a passion. We will not merge with you, nor will be join forces against fill-in-the-blank region because they stole your whatsit.

Our WA Delegate is non-executive. You can all have fun trying to seize the delegacy whenever you want. It won't matter to me. Since the WA Delegate doesn't have regional controls, it will not hurt the region whatsoever.
