Nomenstatia Accords
The Nomenstatia Accords, ratified on Founding Day, October Third, constitute a series of agreements between the nations of Nomenstatia to maintain their common security and way of life. The contents of this historic document are recorded below.Article 1
This signs into law the legally binding agreement between the Council of 12, that these 12 nations will forever remain politically, economically, and militarily bound to one another, and seek to promote their shared interests, security, well-being, and to support one another in these pursuits. This agreement cannot be discarded nor modified without unanimous agreement amongst both founding members and newcomers. While this treaty holds, no nation of Nomenstatia may legally exit this region nor this supranational union without unanimous majority vote from all other nations.
Article 2
This treaty establishes and claims the region of Nomenstatia as territory to be settled and developed by these 12 nations and all newcomers. This land will be equitably distributed amongst settler naitons, and within them, distributed to citizens as their respective governments see fit.
Article 3
The nations of Nomenstatia are bound to one another militarily, in that any threat with the intent of violence or terrorism, or any attack with attempted or achieved violence, shall be considered by all members to be an attack towards their own state. All nations shall, in this circumstance, coordinate with one another in a united armed front against their common adversaries. This coordinated alliance of militaries shall be overseen and directed by the Office of the Armed Forces and the Chief Military Consul, with input from each nation's own chain of command and experts.
Article 4
The nations of Nomenstatia, bound to one another economically through a shared market, shall coordinate their efforts in order to maintain and protect their collective economies, and to assist one another in these efforts to promote their shared economic interests. This coordination of economies shall be overseen by the Office of the Treasury.
Article 5
This article upholds the common agreement that every nation of Nomenstatia has the right to maintain their own governmental and political system, without interference from one another in any form, such as the influencing of democracies or attempts to change the political system of another nation. In essence, all nations must define their political systems themselves, without interference.
Article 6
