Krasnaya Sloboda

Krasnaya Sloboda is considered the last remaining shtetl (European Jewish village), since all the others unfortunately succumbed to the force of the Nazis in the Holocaust. Krasnaya Sloboda has roughly 3,500 people, all of which are mountain Jews.
