An Official Account on Energy Independence and Constitutional Sovereignty
In response to the current World Assembly proposal establishing the World Assembly Science and Innovation Foundation (WASIF), the United Republic of Nations hereby asserts its complete domestic independence.
While supranational bodies attempt to centralize scientific advancement, energy infrastructure, and resource distribution under international oversight, the United Republic remains bound exclusively by its own constitutional framework.
I. Constitutional Integrity and Wealth Stewardship
Our domestic scientific initiatives are governed directly by Article VII of the Constitution of the United Republic of Nations:
2. Duties of the Upper Class: Wealth must serve the common good through support of education, health, infrastructure, science, culture, or other public needs...
4. The Principle of Stewardship: Wealth is recognized as a trust held in stewardship, not an instrument of domination. The prosperity of the Nation belongs first to its People.
Under these provisions, nuclear fusion development and clean energy research are public assets created solely for the welfare of our citizens. They cannot be subjected to external international mandates, foreign bureaucracy, or supranational oversight mechanisms created by WASIF.
II. Absolute Supremacy and Defiance of External Overreach
Pursuant to Article VI, Section 1 of our Constitution:
The United Republic will not surrender control over its power grid, technical blueprints, or public funding allocations to international commissions. Any resolution or directive requiring our domestic energy infrastructure or scientific programs to submit to external authority violates the supreme legal framework of our federation and is null and void within our borders.
III. The Path Forward
Energy independence is essential to domestic tranquility and our common defense. The United Republic will continue to independently fund, develop, and deploy its Public Fusion Research Initiative through public means, guaranteeing that energy remains abundant, decentralized, and entirely controlled by the People.
