Definition of the AotUNS

The Alliance of the United NationStates

Centered around common values like peace, tolerance, democracy, and war if someone of the alliance get attacked.
abbreviated AotUNS is an interregional cooperation pact, created by an initiative from The All People Union, aiming to connect smaller and medium-sized regions and to honor the former alliance AoCN. The idea behind the alliance is that if some regions are too small to have a large player community, protect themselves from raids, roleplay or similar, they can simply build a community together.

Principles of the AotUNS

  • The AotUNS values democracy and tolerance. Roleplaying totalitarian nations in-character is permitted, promoting e.g. fascism, racism, homophobia or similar is not!

  • The AotUNS will not raid and destroy other regions and as representatives of the alliance, the member regions are advised not to raid either.

  • Amendment for clarification: Military cooperations within the AotUNS are not discouraged if they serve the purpose of protecting regions, the AotUNS simply shall not become responsible for destroying other player communities (fascist regions excluded since they deserve no protection).

Benefits of the AotUNS

The AotUNS brings several benefits to its member regions and nations, which are listed below:

  • AotUNS-member regions embassy with each other. This leads to increased activity in the different regions as member-nations can join conversations in other member-regions at will.

  • Any AotUNS-member nation is permitted and encouraged to join the LinkAlliance's Discord Server where they can talk, discuss, roleplay and learn more about the game.

  • The Alliance's RMB is open to every nation in the alliance.

  • Regional governments can exchange ideas and cooperate (e.g. by agreeing on common voting in the World Asembly)

  • AotUNS-members help each other, for instance in case a member region gets raided or needs an endorsement to temporarly stabilize its WA-delegacy.

Rights and Duties of AotUNS-member regions

  • Any AotUNS-member region is permitted to leave the alliance anytime.

  • Any AotUNS-member region is permitted to restrict access to their RMB by using their regional settings as they see fit.

  • Any AotUNS-member region is permitted to embassy and interact with regions outside of the alliance as they see fit, as long as this does not violates the principles of the AotUNS.

  • Since the AotUNS has no say in the internal and domestic affairs of member regions, it is the duty of each AotUNS-member region to uphold the alliance's principles in their lands.

  • Any AotUNS-member is forbidden to ally with regions promoting fascism, racism, homophobia or similar.

  • Any AotUNS-member region will give support to the others if they require it.
