Short-Line Railways (SLR) are locally-owned or industry-owned
rail operators authorised to operate outside the FNRG network
under regulations established by the Rail Industry Development
Division (RIDD).

SLRs primarily serve industrial, agricultural, mining,
port and regional logistics needs.
