History

The Democratic Socialist Commonwealths of Calianaois was founded on December 28, 2025, as a successor to the now defunct Sovereign Unitary Republic of Eodi and Its Autonomous Regions. All territories of Calianaois were reorganized into commonwealths, unified under the singular name "Calianaois."

Location

Calianaois is located in Central Indiana and Nebraska, both United States Midwestern states.

The main Calianaoisian territory is located in Indiana. Its other territory is found in Nebraska, in which borders the The Parliamentary Republic of Malenkia and has receives joint control by Calianaois and Malenkia, although it is under Calianaoisian sovereignty.

Calianaois is comprised of 4 commonwealths, although they function similarly to the states of the United States. These commonwealths are Saratoga, Illinoisia, Imdatokki, and Mazhoka.

Government

Calianaois has a complex government system, despite its small size -- it is a union consisting of commonwealths, with a federal government based in democratic socialist ideology. The nation is divided into four commonwealths, these being Saratoga, Illinoisia, Imdatokki, and Mazhoka. Each commonwealth has limited autonomy, and does not have an official government -- instead, they all report to the central Calianaoisian government. Despite its small size, this commonwealth system works best for its citizens due to the placement of Calianaoisian territory.

Calianaois has yet to make a constitution. Its presidents are elected every 4 years and has no term limits. Currently, Calianaois has several government departments, including the State Department, Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Defense (Calianaois National Guard).

Military

Calianaois has a military, consisting of currently 2 active personnel. Equipment includes an airsoft rifle (a Heckler & Koch G3), air BB pistol (Sig Sauer P365), multiple knives, axes, an inflatabale kayak, multiple drones and 4 model tanks.

As of 10/26/25, the air BB pistol is out of service due to failure to fire.

Economy & Currency

Calianaois does not actually have a formal economy; instead, whatever its citizens receives as monetary value is considered part of the micronation's GDP. For such reasons, there is no definite number for Calianaois' GDP.

Exports include agricultural products, mainly corn, tomatoes and pumpkins. However, none of these have actually been exported, but the government of Calianaois hopes that there will soon be an opportunity.

Calianaois' currency is the Calianaoisian Dollar, however it is not minted nor printed; instead it accepts/uses the United States Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and the South Korean Won. However, other currencies are accepted, although they must be converted to be used.

Geography & Climate

Calianaois mostly located on lawn grass. There is also a house on Calianaois territory, where the president resides. There are several gardens, with one having corn and the others with pumpkins, green onions, and tomatoes. One can also see several bushes throughout, with some with flowers. Climate in Calianaois varies throughout the seasons, with hot, humid summers, and cold, rainy/snowy winters. Rain can be observed throughout the year.
