[The Frontier Sea - Talonia] Chess Tournament
Introduction
The Frontier Sea and Talonia have partnered to host a joint Chess Tournament, starting on May 4th.
Citizens of each region will compete to determine if the best chess player is a TFSer or Talonian.
It is open to all citizens, regardless of skill level.
Will you take your opponent into a deep, dark forest where 2 + 2 = 5 and the path leading out is only wide enough for one?

The tournament will have a sudden-death format. A player will be paired against another in a 10 minute rapid match. The player that emerges victorious will pass to the next round, while the loser will be out. If there is a tie on the board, the players will rematch until a winner emerges.
Additionally, each phase of the tournament will happen weekly, allowing flexibility to when each match can take place. Which will be determined by agreement between players and confirmed by one of the organizers.
The winner of the tournament will receive a randomised Legendary card on NationStates, with more prizes possibly awarded for second or even third place if enough people sign up.
