Region Rules & Game Law

Previously, game law has been pretty outdated and just generally confusing and over complicated. I aim to fix and generalize things here. Be aware most situations will have individualized systems and rules because of the sheer complexity of our lore and other things. These will often be updated when situations are created or problems arise.

General

I am aware there are loopholes in Game Law. Rules are subject to common sense and abuse of such loopholes will result in RETCON or punishment.

Court

Judged by an impartial judge, the punishment is up to them, though they should try to incorporate law into it best they can.

Jury members will help with the final decision (innocent/guilty)

Only evidence supplied in court will be considered.

Lore and Roleplay

Nations have complete control of their own lore. Other nations cannot force changes upon it unless necessary and universally decided.

Canon lore is defined by the community, or in cases which the community cannot decide, Shuckletopia and/or The Freebird will decide.

“Erm actually” or BSing an excuse to validate your lore is illegal. You can’t just say “Actually my leader isn’t dead because…” or “I tricked you all because…” to change the lore in your favor. Actions considered controversial to the lore will be decided by community vote.

Resurrections of important lore characters is illegal for at minimum a week after death. Some deaths will be permanent or extended for longer than the minimum week. In such instances you may request to either Shuckletopia or The FreeBird for your character to be revived.

Lore characters, weapons, vehicles, etc. cannot be unkillable.

The Constitution

Any rules imposed in the constitution may not ban/prevent a nation from posting on the RMB or encourage the suppression of messages.
