Xwamn Community Standards and Etiquette

In this dispatch, you'll find etiquette and conduct standards for the Xwamn community. These are used by the Xwamngar and select members of the Rāz-kirrōg (the administrative team) to moderate our player community, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all players who participate in it. Generally speaking, these standards are applicable to the Warzone Sandbox region, Warzone Sandbox's regional message board, the community's official Discord, and member hosted forum threads on the NationStates website. Some platforms, such as the Regional Message Board (RMB), have additional behavioral expectations that can be found in the appropriate section of this dispatch.

General Behavioral Expectations

I. First and foremost, you should be following the NationStates' site rules, unless you want to be kicked out by site moderation and not community moderation, in which case you're time with us will be short.

II. Be aware of the youthfulness of our community and act appropriately! Players of NationStates can be as young as 13, so it's critical that the content and links of posts and messages be PG-13.

III. Present yourself in our community with decorum. Engage other players on sensitive topics with nuance, refrain from purposely tearing down others, and generally do not say or do things that you would not wish done unto yourself.

IV. Bigotry and other content that discriminates against a person or group of people on the basis of innate characteristics is strictly prohibited.

V. Do not engagement in textual or verbal intimidation, harassment, or bullying of other players. The spread and distribution of another player's personally identifiable information (PII), such as their school, legal name, place of employment, etc. without their consent will be considered a form of harassment by the administrative/moderation team.

VI. Please speak, type, and link to content in English. This is the working language of the current administrative/moderation team and we can only carry out our duties if we can understand what is presented to us.

Regional Message Board (RMB) Rules

I. Follow the rules and guidelines set by the communities hosting regional message boards outside of the Warzone Sandbox region. This applies to any of WZSB's embassy partners, as well as the three Sinkers .

II. Spamming is forbidden. This includes excessive multi-posting that would have been better captured by post edits.

III. Leave rule-breakers and any posts they make that are suppressed alone by not interacting with them.

IV. NationStates forum threads are the home of Xwamn roleplaying content, not the RMB; character, national, regional, and inter-regional roleplay should not be posted on the RMB. Check out the Xwamn Player's Guide to the NSRPG (coming soon!) to learn more about where, why, and how our community roleplays.

Roleplay Forum Rules

I. Xwamn roleplayers are subject to all typical site-side rules and regulations, including Original Poster ("OP") powers in the relevant sections of the NS forum. Click here to learn more.

Moderation Team

The moderation team of the Xwamn is a select group of Rāz-kirrōg trusted by the community for their ability to wisely adjudicate on and enforce the rules and guidelines presented here. Currently, due to the limited size of the Xwamn, the only member of the moderation team is Serdequre.
