Welcome Horizon's Regional Message Board also known as the RMB! We're happy to have you here. Now, to make sure everyone has a great time here, please take a moment to check out our following RMB rules. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to any of our Regional Officers, or just ask on the RMB. These rules are important to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all, so if you have doubts about something you are posting it's generally probably best if you do not.
1. Respect NationStates RulesWhen on NationStates it is obviously expected that you follow NationStates guidelines. Breaking these could lead to a report to Site Moderation. You may find the full list here
One Stop Rule Shop.2. Avoid SpammingSpam is anything that clutters up the RMB and distracts from real conversations. In general refrain from low quality posts and ensure what you are posting is of substance and quality. This is not a particularly hard rule but we reserve the right to rule on what is and is not spam in order to maintain our RMB culture here.
3. Listen to ROsRegional Officers (ROs) can step in if things get out of hand. If they tell you to stop doing something, please listen. We reserve the right to enforce community standards as we see fit to maintain a positive environment for all Stargazers.
4. Be RespectfulThis one is pretty self-explanatory, but keep things PG-13, and treat others how you'd like to be treated. No flaming, flamebaiting, trolling, harassment, or other general forms of toxicity.
5. No Recruitment or Other Forms of AdvertisementRecruitment for any other region is strictly prohibited and will be met with severe consequences. Other forms of advertisement are also not permitted unless you have explicit prior approval from Horizon's government.
6. Strive for Quality RPKeep your RP efforts high-quality. Short, low-effort RP (like one-liners) just like other one line posts should be avoided. If you're joining the official RP, make sure your posts meet the community's standards and are substantívate.
7. Other Miscellaneous RulesOnly speak for the community if you're authorized to do so.
Don't quote rule-breaking posts just edit out the problematic parts if you need to reference them.
Use pings and likes sparingly, and ask before overusing them.
If you don't follow these guidelines, your posts will be hidden without prior warning. Horizon's government has the final say in any situation when it comes to safeguarding our community and platforms.
